I have ordered take out here before, but in all honesty I was too drunk to remember how the pizza tasted. Anyyyyyywhooooooo, I came here last Saturday with my wife, sister, and the kids. We were seated right away by a friendly host. I ordered a small Milano for my wife and I to share. My sister ordered a Margharita on wheat crust. I had to change our order after the waitress had already submitted it. She handled it like a pro and didn’t make me feel like I’d just ruined her night. The pizzas arrived. The Milano was delicious. The Margharita was on not on wheat crust. No problem. They had it corrected FAST! In just a few minutes, the right pizza was on our table, piping hot. That tells me that their pizza dude is a pro too. He knew to put all the other orders on hold so that wrong pizza could be made right. They let us keep the wrong pizza too. Very nice. Kale salad was great too. I almost choked on the bill($ 100.00 for pizza???) but that’s just the price of dining out in the Bay Area anymore. Gotta get used to it or just stay home. I would definitely come back here.

great quality food. great location. great work environment. only restaurant I’ve ever seen the managers bus tables. its one thing for managers to go around asking how your meal or the service was, but its another to see managers genuinely working WITH their staff as well. I love the ambiance. always a sharks game tradition!

I rounded up only because this place offers Vegan Cheese. I’m allergic to dairy, so it’s hard to find pizza joints that offer non-dairy cheese. This places lets you customize your pizza too. I’ve been to Amici’s before, but time was a phone in pick up order. I ordered a Large Pizza with the Vegan Cheese, Pepperoni, Hot Sausage, and Black Olives. The guy who took my order on the phone was very patient and showed concern about my allergy by double checking to make sure any of the ingredients didn’t contain milk. I do wish that the pizza didn’t look so naked though. The sausage and pepperoni quantity was very minuscule and the bread tasted overcooked. But then again, maybe it’s the cheese’s fault since it’s not real cheese so it doesn’t really melt the same in the oven? Oh well, at least my pizza craving was satisfied.

Pizza was very good, and the chicken wings too. The garden salad wasn’t very special I wouldn’t order that again. The staff was very friendly.

Food is great. The don’t always read the requests it appears. I have asked for plates, napkins and plastic ware but only get it half of the time. Makes it hard to eat without that stuff when you’re in a hotel.

Came on a Saturday night with my husband, daughter, and her boyfriend. We had a night planned for dinner and Christmas in the Park so just chose a pizza place nearby. I should’ve listened to fellow Unilocalers and found a different pizza joint but my laziness got the better of me. First impression was mixed since the place appears upscale for a pizza place but surprised that there were only a handful of customers during dinner hour on a Saturday night. Once we sat down, we started to realize why. SLOWESTANDDISAPPOINTINGSERVICE I’VEEXPERIENCEDIN A LONGTIME. It took 20 min before we ordered and 40 min for food to arrive! Only reason for the 1 star is I thought their pizza was edible but family didn’t agree. Crust was burnt and super thin, which I don’t mind, but for the overpriced menu, not worth at all. My husband and daughter both like thicker crust so they were disappointed. Was extra greasy, too. At one point, I called out to the waiter because my mouth was on fire from the red pepper. He literally looked at me and waived me off and looked annoyed. WTF? How dare you? And mind you, the place was slooowww! Took another 15 min after we asked for the check before that came. There was another elderly couple near us that asked ‘what’s going on here’? Because of the wait for their check. Lesson learned. Heed the advice of fellow Unilocalers!

I received a gift card for this place and decided to try it out. I tried to order online but I guess it didn’t go through, so then I called. I like the fact they have many options for toppings. So I got myself a small pepperoni, meatball, and extra mozzarella and Coke. I walked in, not too busy on a Friday night. The guy was extremely nice. I usually like thicker crust but it is east coast pizza. So I wasn’t too worried about it. The meatballs on the pizza had a little too much spice but other than that it’s pretty good. A little pricey though. Ended up paying $ 21 for a SMALL pizza and Coke. The small has about 6 pieces.

Not bad. I had the meatball sandwich and it was tasty, with a side salad, it was also pretty satisfying. Casual lunch spot. Open, bustling, clean. Come for a casual business lunch or if you just want to get the pizza fix done. Nothing special to write home about, but also, gets the job done. Recommend.

Amici’s isn’t your cheap and greasy pizza you grew up with. Their pizza is the top of the mark with nothing but wonderful good times. The lady and I were watching Nbc Bay Area news and were debating on what to eat. Then boom, Amici’s pizza commercial comes on. The ad worked like a charm on us. Can’t wait to order again!

The hype of this restaurant had us ready for a great family night out! We were a little surprised to receive a limited menu. But our hopes were high… the reviews were so favorable. BUT– it’s not worthy of it’s fame! The pizza was«wet» and bland in flavor. The pizza is waaaay over-priced. Including the $ 7 parking fee — we blew $ 90!!! Ugh!!! Never, ever, again!

I just have always had a bad experience here, food wise. My boyfriend likes it: never had a problem, but he doesn’t really order their pizzas, he orders pastas(but, lets be honest, their pasta is nothing compared to my boyfriend’s version when he makes it), so I would pass on that, but you might like it or have never had the best. I ordered my friend: something to-go(Spicy Pepper Chicken) and she liked it. But, I’ve gotten their Manhattan Red Clam(tasted fishy gross, not fresh fishy, wasn’t even hot enough kind of pizza. it was just gross). And I’ve ordered the veggie and it was gross. I don’t know what’s up with their cheese, but I’m not a fan. And I don’t like how over burnt the veggie pizza was compared to the calm. But, it wasn’t that hot either. In general if you don’t like dark crust: you won’t like this place. I do wish I knew about their light crust option, that may or may not work on for you). It is baked directly on hot brick floor therefore the crust will be dark(I just don’t think it should’ve been that black on mines). You might like this place, it just wasn’t my cup of tea.

Above average pizza that delivers which is a plus. Slightly overpriced for what you get but worth it given the poor quality of your standard pizza delivery joints. Have not dined or tried their other dishes.

East Coast Pizza my ass. Greasy cheese on a piece of bread, aka pizza, with no sauce on it whatsoever. These so called«Italians» must be from The Jersey Shore: obviously what they produce is trash!!! The sauce was terrible and left a rancid taste in my mouth. I bet they use cans of Ragu. Plus, I had use a piece of paper towel to get rid of some of the grease. Honestly, if I had a gas station piece of pizza, and this, I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

It was a tad expensive but it was pretty good. We got the new haven white clam pizza. Sauce was very light, and the clams basically tasted like more bacon to me. Bacon taste overload. Also had the meat combo pizza. Service was fast, food was good, but just a little too pricey for me.

In the area for a concert at SAP, the three of us were looking a place for some dinner beforehand in the San Pedro Square area. At two restaurants, we were told there was a wait of 30 – 45 minutes for a table. Next up was Amici’s. The host said a there was a 25 minutes wait for an inside table, but we would be seated immediately at one of the outside table. An outside table it was. After ordering our drinks, we ordered: Full Caesar Salad — $ 8.75 — a nice salad with fresh romaine, housemade croutons, freshly grated parmesan and dressed in Caesar dressing. Anchovy fillets are added to your salad upon request. It was perfect portion for us to share. Medium(13″) Half Siciliano and Half Manhattan Red Clam Pizza — $ 23.75 — since we were torn between two choices, we opted for a half and half. The Siciliano has mozzarella, provolone, broccoli, housemade Italian sausage, roasted garlic and pepper flakes. The Siciliano doesn’t come with tomato sauce, but we requested for it. The Manhattan Red Clam has clams, garlic, seasonings and tomato sauce. Love the thin crispy crust and freshness of the ingredients of both pizzas. The price is pricier than average for the size of the pizza, but you do get great fresh ingredients. Friendly staff from the host to the servers. Food came fairly quickly as well given that we had show tickets. Good dining choice for the area.

Great gluten free pizza crust. Cooked perfectly. A friend got their regular crust pizza. Remember to order your crust«light», unless you enjoy burnt crust. Another friend ordered one of their pasta dishes. She was very happy with her choice. Service was professional.

Very pleasant outdoor dinning experience. Walked in and greeted with a warm welcoming. Was told inside seating wait was about 15 minutes or we could be seated outside immediately… I chose to sit outside. Sun was going down and none of the seats were in sun and it was a beautiful evening, so yeah, lets sit outdoors and people watch! We were not all that hungry as we had a semi big lunch. So kids got the mini plain New York pizzas & baby pasta shells w/alfredo sauce(nice & thick). Pizza was just crust, sauce & mozzarella(booooring but kids ate it). I ordered the chicken Caesar salad. Very good and dressing was REAL and not the standard restraunt chain bland kind. I could taste the anchovi… yum! Salad was a big pirtion of romaine lettuce, croutons, parmesean cheese with plenty of sliced chicken breast. Plenty of waiter service with a friendly smile and checking in almost every time he, Pablo, came outside to help other tables or us. He was polite, friendy, attentive and professional. I enjoyed my meal and will come again. Prices are a bit high but food is eye pleasing and quality of ingredients are evident.

Came here on a Sunday with my husband and my dog earlier this month for lunch because they were the cleanest restaurant(even outside) in the area, and we were glad that we did. We were seated outside and served by Mathew and he was very friendly and kind to us and my dog; he even got my dog a bowl of clean water. We ordered a medium size clams pizza and clam pasta, along with two glasses of wine; I like how Mathew explained the menu and recommended what might satisfy us. Their pizza has different sizes, Mathew asked us to take the medium one because he believe it’s enough for two of us(some restaurants would try to get you to order the biggest); hence, we already very pleased with his honestly. I’m not a big fan of pizzas so my husband finished the whole thing; he’s a very picky eater and he was happy with the food. My clam pasta was awesome! The clams were so fresh and pasta cooked to perfection, it was very delicious and that makes me miss this place so much! There’s nothing I dislike about this place, so here I am giving five stars, which speaks a lot since I barely give that many stars and I’m not an usual pasta/pizza eater.
