The name of this place is very misleading. When I first saw them building this place, a few years ago, I thought it was going to be a spot kids would come on field trips to learn about stuff. Kind of like the center they have at the Don Edwards Wildlife Refuge just down the road. Well, it turns out it’s just a little outdoor picnic area with tables, gazebo and restrooms. Oh, well. Can’t have everything you want, I guess. I really dig the seclusion of the location; not to mention it’s conveniently located next to a trail-​head.
