All About Seniors Assisted Living

You can’t do better than this home. My mother spent 3 years here before she passed away. Pat and Debbie Hall were compassionate and accomodating. They have several homes and keep them all spotless all the time. The furniture is in excellent condition and very comfortable. Healthy home cooked meals 3 times a day. The staff really cares for their charges as if they were their own children. THere are many tears all around when ever a resident passes. It was like having my own sister right there caring for my mom until she passed. Really. They provide entertainments for the seniors at all holidays. If needed they will even take mom to the doctor’s appt.
I cannot recommend All About Seniors highly enough. Its a quiet restful atmosphere. They have a quiet time every afternoon. There is no blaring TV or radio. Only 6 residents so they all get individual attention. THe home is light and bright, not dark and gloomy like several others I had looked at. Mom was very fond of her care giver, Anabelle. I could telephone or visit any time. The Halls really understand the problems of having to finally put your parent into a home. They personally picked up my mom from the hospital and took her to the home so I wouldn’t have to be the bad guy and make her go there against her wishes. She had dementia and didn’t understand the need for her to have 24 hour care. She settled in quickly and was soon very happy with her new home. She loved the food. It was such a relief to me to have peace of mind that she was happy and well cared for.

I just cannot say enough positive things about this wonderful house and staff. The owners, the Hall’s, have put together a lovely and welcoming home that is both friendly and supportive of all it’s residents. My mother spent eight months there before passing and as she deteriorated the staff and owners stepped forward to give her the most amazing and loving care and always with an eye for her total comfort. There is constant preparation of home-​made meals and the house is run on a very consistent schedule. Visitors are always welcome and the staff is always accommodating of family and their wishes. Our family will always be grateful that our mother was able to spend her last months in this house and with these loving people. The owners are exceptionally compassionate people and were so warm and generous to me in dealing with my mother’s decline. I will always be deeply indebted to them for their loving help.

I used to go here to visit my grandma before she passed away awhile back, and I have a bit of comparison from other places she had been, as well as a couple places I volunteered at. This place is very homey, a lot like my grandma’s house before, aside from the few other people living there. My parents were happy to have her there since the nursing home was too large and impersonal, as well as expensive, while the live-​in caregiver she had for a couple months was way too costly, and they were always getting into arguments about it. But once they found this type of assisted living care home, it was a nice happy medium and very personal service, plus it was in my neighborhood, so I’d go pop in every couple days, which I think was nice for our relationship before she passed. Anyway, I would definitely recommend a small place like this over any other! Also the owners are genuinely nice people and really do seem to care about each and every one of their clients.
