Loved this salon! I was taken care of by Jessica.
I had my hair cut in the past couple of weeks and the person that cut it didn’t cut it evenly. When I would put my hair up in a ponytail, all the uneven pieces would stick out and look funny. It was driving me crazy.
The salon itself is really cute, very cozy. I loved the decorations. When I first got in, I was greeted by Megan and immediately offered tea, water, or wine.
The first thing Jessica asked was what I wanted and I explained how my hair had just been cut but it was uneven. Jessica said she had experience cutting a-​lines and she didn’t lie. She was able to even out my cut and now it looks like a normal a-​line. Yay!
Jessica was super sweet and is really talented. I loved her personality and we chatted the entire time. She really made me feel comfortable and that I was in good hands.
I’ve been hunting for a salon in the Bay Area and it looks like I’ve found the one. Can’t wait to be back!

Outstanding customer service! They took the extra step when I ran in to buy something that I desperately needed! Just as they had closed out the days transactions and register. I had to have brilliant to get my hair ready for the rainy season… They made the transaction even though they did not have to and were incredibly welcoming! I would recommend Alchemy Salon to anyone, especially if you are looking for an Aveda Salon.

This salon is amazing!
I got my hair cut by Sherry Furr, a master stylist, who was super sweet and funny and totally made my day. We talked so much it seriously felt like I’d known her forever! All I did was explain what I wanted, showed her a few pictures from my Pinterest boards, and then she went to work on the masterpiece that is my new hair. She knew exactly how to work with my hair texture, which is super curly, and asked lots of questions about how I liked things so I knew we were always on the same page. I will 100% come back to see Sherry and her team!
The salon itself is really clean as well, and they offer your beverages (even wine) while you wait and get your hair styled/​cut, which is really nice and relaxing. You will not be disappointed!

I have tried several times to unsubscribe from this salon’s emails and I am still getting them. If you’re trying this salon for the first time, don’t give them your email. There seems to be no getting rid of them. And the reason for unsubscribing: I don’t want to return.

Amazing amazing service! I was unknowingly late to my appointment but Sher was so sweet and accommodating that she squeezed me in anyway. The staff is so warm and friendly (namely Sher and Holly for my fantastic service today). And I’m pretty sure I just got the best haircut I’ve ever gotten. So glad I came here, I’ll be back for sure and recommend Alchemy to anyone that I can!

Love, love love this place! Had Sher take my hair from below my shoulders to a modified pixie… she was fabulous. Sher talked me through the haircut and I was so happy with the result. She was recommended by my daughter so I drove all the way from Pacific Grove for this hair cut (an hour and 15min drive). Will definitely make this my salon and Sher hmy stylist… thank you Sher!

I absolutely love my hair. Calie did exactly what I wanted. I waited a whole year to find a salon with a stylist to trust and do my hair how I want it and she not only is a bomb hair stylist but also I was introduced to her by a mutual friend and she is a good hearted gal. We have the same personality and she is so fun and has such talent with hair. LOVE IT!
Will continue to go to her and be a beyond loyal client!
Also to add that the salon is clean and beautiful and uses my favorite products *Aveda* my favorite scent oil treatment for hair and hairspray, shampoo, conditioner, etc.

Last Saturday, I went to Alchemy and got a haircut that did not work with my hair type and I was really unhappy with. I called on Monday and left a voicemail asking if there was someone who could fix it. The very next day I received a call from Sher (the owner), who was so nice and pleasant on the phone didnt even hesitate to ask me to come in and squeezed me in that very afternoon. Sher is absolutely amazing! She was so nice, was extremely thorough, and knew exactly how to help me achieve my best look. I am so thankful that I had the courage to call as it helped me find the perfect stylist. I can’t wait to go back and see her in a few weeks. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I went in to Alchemy hoping to find someone that would really help me get my hair healthier but also looking good. I was lucky enough to come across Carolyn.
I got a trim and she was able to get the color I really wanted! I had a wedding to attend but I am also getting married in a couple of weeks and I am so happy with the color how much healthier it already feels! Carolyn you’re amazing!!!

My 24 year old daughter’s hair was so damaged from color, bleach, and heat styling, she knew there was no way she could have brought it back to life. We searched for hair salons and decided on Alchemy Studio because of its reputation for expert color correction.
Sherry McGuire (the owner) did an AMAZING job — She cut her hair (yet was able to keep it a length that Sarah was happy with), deep conditioned, and added some subtle highlights that blend together beautifully. Result was beautiful, super shiny, healthy hair again.
Very pleased. I’ll be going back to Sherry for my own hair transformation!

I love going to Carolyn. She’s always great with my hair, whether it’s with a cut or a dye she always does great. I’m always super happy with the results and always get tons of compliments. She’ll always listen to what you want but give some recommendations as well. I love that she never tries to oversell me on anything and is always mindful of what her clients needs are. Definitely my new go to hairdresser :)

Went for the first time and had a great time! I got my hair cut and permed by Sher and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! A perm is kind of a long process but the time didn’t drag at all, I ended up having fun haha! The atmosphere is great!
I was skeptical about cutting a lot of hair off and getting some layers before the perm but for the sake of my curls I trusted Sher and went for it. I have never been a fan of layers but Sher gave me such a great cut and everything blended so perfectly!
Once we got the perm process started I felt super well taken care of by Sher and her assistant Haley and all the steps were explained to me so there were no surprises
I love my new hair more and more every second, thank you Alchemy!

This salon is great when it comes to color, they really know what they are doing. I got my hair done here twice with Sherry (Sher) and Julianne. The haircut however with Sher was not so great, I really didn’t like the layers she did. She did a great job on my ombré though.

The place is super expensive if you go with a master stylist an ombré and a haircut will cost you an arm and a leg.
Even if you have an appointment you will have to wait in their cosy seating area for 10 to 15 minutes.
Customer service ethics are very low. If you miss your appointment more than once you will get an email as follows from the owner:

We are sorry you were unable to make your appointments both on Tuesday & Wednesday.
I had personally set aside 1.5 hours for you on both days, and our schedules were completely full — unable to accommodate calling guests.

I have never heard or experienced a business telling their customer that you have missed two appointments on busy days so please don’t come to us anymore.
Anyway I wish them good luck and hope they can improve the cons.

I recently moved to the area and after checking reviews decided on former beauty instructor Sherry Furr at Alchemy for both color and cut. Wow! Sherry gave the best consultation ever … I’ve experienced 7 states and an equal number of colorists. My color never has been better (I’m now an Aveda convert) and my cut practically styles itself. How does she do that?
I also have been impressed by Sherry’s color corrections. I have had the pleasure of watching her transform bad color and damaged hair into total beauty. It wasn’t a fast process, but the results were stunning.
The entire staff at Alchemy have been lovely, kind, and light-​hearted and the reservation system and reminders ensure easy appointment making and tracking. I am a fan!

Sherry is still awesome. I had waited too long to go back and my split ends were out of control, she got everything happy and healthy again.
I will be back.

I got my haircut from Julianne.
The scalp massage was great, and the service was decent, but for some reason, my haircut came out uneven and choppy.
I actually had to trim a piece of my hair when I got home because it was longer than the rest of my hair.
I’ve gone to really inexpensive hair stylists who have done a better job cutting my hair evenly. I was really hoping for the best from this place.

I just got a beach wave perm done from here from the master stylist Sherry Mcguire. No doubt the beach wave was awesome, Sher was warm and friendly and did a job as per my requirements, but… while I had the chemical on my hair, I told them its dripping. they put an extra towel there and didn’t wipe it then, and I got a burnt at that place :(
It was burning then too, and they sooth it with some ointment but only the next day I noticed it left a burnt mark. Attaching a photo of the mark at the back of my neck. Not happy with this experience!

This was my first time at Alchemy and Sherry was absolutely amazing! I normally have long hair, but wanted to go a little shorter. Especially with expecting my first little one I wanted something manageable, which my hair was not! Definitely glad I had Sherry to help me figure out the best haircut. If I went somewhere else I probably would’ve made a mistake and made it too short! But in this situation I definitely made the best decision!
And besides the beautiful haircut, the service was wonderful! I felt so welcomed and loved that everyone was so friendly!
Definitely going to make this my go to place for my hair!

After getting my hair butchered at a certain downtown Campbell salon, I decided to class it up a notch by going to an Aveda salon. I made an appointment at Alchemy with Heather, a Master Stylist. Master Stylist is the most expensive option, but I didn’t want to cut corners.
The salon has a soothing, elegant atmosphere with natural lighting. My haircut began with a very relaxing lavender oil scalp massage. Then, a wash with Aveda products, and back to the chair for a cut. After I gave Heather some mixed messages about what I wanted, she politely schooled me on some salon terminology so I understood that I was contradicting myself. Most stylists would just try to guess what I mean and move on, but she wanted to get it exactly right.
The results were fantastic! Heather showed me a new way of styling my hair that creates beach waves without applying heat (twisting with a little backcombing). I really appreciate that she didn’t pressure me to use a blow dryer, and she wasn’t pushy with the products either.
I am definitely coming back to Alchemy for my next cut.

I got my hair done by sherry Furr, she is amazing!!! I went in with dark brown almost black hair and she gave me a beautiful caramel color! She definitely knows what she’s doing, I will keep coming back to her until she stops doing hair because I told her exactly what I want, she walked me through the process and explained to me what was possible with the finished product I wanted. She was very informative and extremely nice and funny they even serve wine so that’s a double plus in my books !! I will definitely be returning!!!
