A Plus Catering

Used this caterer for a company picnic and reviews from our attendees are dismal. We asked them to cook on site but they arrived with everything prepared in foil containers. The serving portions were extremely small and our employees were told they could only have one of the options we selected. Chicken was undercooked, some raw in the middle and appeared to be baked with BBQ sauce dumped over it. The beans came out of a can. The hamburgers were Costco’s finest and over peppered. Much of the food was cold or lukewarm. The potato salad was obviously from a tub and held little flavor. We paid $ 175 for 100 soft drinks and got store brand for the most part — did not go over well! Our employees left hungry and dissatisfied which was not our goal. Created a downer for the whole event. We will not be using this caterer again and would not recommend them to any other organization.
UPDATE: Following my original post I was contacted by the caterer initially concerned that we were displeased and later, when I was asked to edit my review and refused, I was sent a letter threatening legal action if I didn’t change my review. I refused as I am legally entitled to my opinion, disagreed with her portrayal that all of the communication issues were due to an interim employee (not true, I spoke to her myself as well), and everything I stated is accurate from my perspective and that of our employees who we surveyed and who were clearly very dissatisfied with the food. My only final word of advise is Buyer Beware.

I had the pleasure of working with A Plus Catering for my wedding. Weddings can be crazy, nerve-​wrecking, über expensive, and a headache. HOWEVER, Janine and A Plus Catering made my event painless, affordable, and added to its elegance!
The food was amazing! Their menu offers a variety, so it can be hard to choose what you’d like to have served but I chose a soul food menu. And in my opinion, if you can accomplish Southern soul food for criticizing Grandmothers (who can cook!) and picky kids and 100 other people, you get my vote every time! Everyone loved the food. I still hear about it. (My wedding was 2 years ago).
A Plus Catering was timely and the servers were professional and made my guests smile. I rented a hall and the kitchen had to be left in the same manner it was when we came. A Plus Catering cleaned up after themselves and I received my deposit in full.
I would recommend this company and I look forward to having another event so I can have those meatballs again! Yummy

A Plus Catering did a wonderful job for our family event last week. They arrived on time, the food was hot, tasty, and plentiful. The staff was professional and prompt to handle any unexpected events. Thank you so much for making this special time for our family run so smoothly.

Apparently a new company as no previous reviews on Unilocal.unfortunately for us it was really, extremely bad catering. food was blah. 2^nd rate food at first rate prices. presentation was a joke in itself. Then they ran out of food way before they fed the number of guests we paid for. The topper was when they wanted to charge $ 237 to cut the cake. WTF? $ 237.00???
