I booked an appointment with Dr. Tran after a receiving a recommendation to see a Chiropractor from one of my yoga teachers. I’ve been dealing with a intense IT band and knee pain from over training and no amount of rest and ice was helping. Dr. Tran has been treating me for a few weeks now with therapy and adjustments and i’m already seeing improvements. She and her staff are incredibly personable and polite, they create a fun and comfortable environment for patients. Dr. Tran is great with answering questions and explaining her process. Scheduling is quick and easy, highly recommend her!

I have a degenerative disc in my lower back and scoliosis. I had really bad back pain and ended up slouching while I walk from the pain. I’ve seen many chiropractors in the mid west and here in the bay area. I thank God I was introduced to Dr Tran from a friend. She started seeing me 3 times a week treating me with therapy & adjustments. She also got me a back pump to help my spine curve the way its supposed to. I can now walk straight up with no problems & I can wear heals if I wanted. I’ve been a patient of hers for over 10 years and now I only see her every fews months just to keep my peace of mind. I don’t ever want that back pain to come back. She is the only Dr who goes above & beyond to help you get better because she genuinely cares. Thank you Dr Tran!!!

I’ve found a lot of people to be skeptical of chiropractors, and the benefits received. I’ve been seeing Dr. Teri for awhile now, and the results speak for themselves! Upon first seeing her, I was in so much pain it was hard to simply turn my head any direction. I now feel better than ever expected, I just wish I had not waited so long to go see her.
When I meet those individuals who are skeptical, I like to ask them if there is anything they engage in now that they were once skeptical of? The benefits speak for themselves, it’s up to you if you chose to listen to them.

Terri is absolutely amazing and was able to see where I hurt without me pointing to the exact location. I’ve been to several doctors, hospitals, and pain management clinics and she was far by the best.

Teri does a great job in treating my back pain. She goes above and beyond in what I expected in treatment for my multiple aliments from training. Thanks Dr. Tran! I definitely recommend a visit for any chiropractic needs.

I love this place! It is my newly guilty pleasure now. I am blaming you Vinh T. for getting me hooked on this!!! Going to the chiropractor is seriously changing my life. I am more aware of my body and aliment. Teri is so sweet and kind. She will take good care of you. It is totally different than getting a massage. Teri knows where your muscles need work and she will give you advice on how to improve yourself. Take care of your body before too late!!!

It has been a long time since I have had an adjustment and a great massage. After a great weekend of camping (and sleeping on a rock) my back was pretty tore up. I used Unilocal to find a massage place close to work and found A.P.I.C. and Dr. Terri Tran DC. I made an appointment and was able to be seen in less than 2 hours.
When I got there, I had to fill out all the obligatory forms, however wasn’t bad. Dr. Tran then took me into an exam room and did a complete history very quickly. then some x-​rays and checks… then to the massage table…
I don’t know how long I was in there… or how long the massage was, but right now I’m the most relaxed that I’ve been in years. Dr. Tran knows all the pressure points and which muscles are buggin and takes care of it… definitely she was a true «gem» to find… do yourself a favor… go see her. You will NOT be disappointed!

I don’t like her adjustment technique. By that I mean that she doesn’t do the adjustments by hand she uses the impulse adjustment instrument. I went there and got x-​rays and the whole deal. And I felt like she really exaggerated my condition. She told me she would need to see me for 3 years starting at 3 times a week. She also said I had moderate to severe scoliosis. Aside from that she told me that I was between Phase 1 and 2 of Subluxation degeneration (Spinal Decay). My boyfriend suggested I seek a second opinion and I am glad that I did. I found a chiropractor who really educated me on my condition. And it ended up being not really as severe as she led me to believe.

I’ve been experiencing really bad neck and back pain. I called my insurance company for chiropractors in my area, and this is one of the places that I was referred to. I’m so glad that I ended up here. It’s right next to the old San Jose Medical Hospital on Santa Clara St. near Downtown SJ. It’s not in the best area of town, but it didn’t matter to me since it was only a couple of blocks from my place.
Dr. Teri Tran did an amazing job with my problem areas. She’s very nice and explains what is really going on with your body. I had problems that I didn’t even know I had, yet Dr. Tran explained it to me in a way that I could understand. After the examination, I got a back massage to help with the pain. Man does she have magic hands! She worked out the knots and kinks in my back that no other masseuse could ever do. She talked me through the massage and explained where each knot was and how or why it was there. VERY relaxing.
I’m so glad that my insurance covers chiropractic services. It’s like getting an examination and a great massage for a co-​pay of only $ 15. If I ever need another spinal adjustment, or a massage, I’ll definitely be coming back to this place.
