Taco Bell

Allow me to tell you a story…
It all started on a Friday night around 6:30pm. I was called upon to purchase food so I stumbled across a Taco Bell. I walked through the door, expecting to get in and out. Hence the name (fast food). When it became my turn to request my order, I was greeted with a «hi.» Odd, but I continued. After purchasing my food, I noticed a few things. Typically, employees work and not conversate about personal life matters or joke around about unrelated topics on the job. Seemed a bit strange when the young employee burned herself and screamed then laughed like some sort of enraged but also amused baboon. The same individual continued this irate behavior as she unappealingly poured the bag of mush (taco meat) into the work station. Out of the three total employees, only one continued on task and cranked out orders. He stayed quiet and had his eyes glued to his work. He seemed a bit ‘ticked off’ at his fellow co-​workers goofing off and cracking jokes. I commend you my friend.
At this point, I have been waiting for my food for a total of 15 minutes. There were two customers and maybe one in the drive through. I made eye contact with the a fellow customer who had ordered before me. We both had that look of «lol wth» on our faces as we turned back to the cheap labor staff laughing and thinking out loud, describing each order like keeping things in thought wasn’t cool. Eventually, I did receive my food. And when I picked it up, I was given a hearty farewell something like «sorry for the wait luv. Enjoy your food»
Needless to say, I will not be coming back for obvious reasons. You may be asking… Why 3 stars for such a bad experience?!? To answer this simply and to the point, my grilled stuff burrito tasted pretty out of this world. Thank you Taco Bell San Gabriel owner for providing your staff with such great customer service skills. Cheap labor or not, most people have common sense. The force was weak with this one (sad face)

I love Taco Bell the food is always bomb. But the customer service at this place is horrible. First off the girl with an ugly as attitude on the speaker didn’t even answer when my bf said good how are you doing. Then when we get to the window she didn’t even smile and had a face like she had to take a shit or was smelling one. She didn’t even give us a straww and didn’t give us our cinabuns that we ordered annnnd paid for cus they’re on the receipt ugh never coming here again I’ll rather go to the one by toys r us !! (She was big, dark skinned, and had green hair) !

Great service even for drive through!!! I seldom go to Taco Bell but I would go back to this place again!

Out of the few taco bells in the area, my wife and I always choose this one. The staff is always so nice and friendly, defenetly recommend this taco bell.

I haven’t been to this taco bell since they remodeled. I used to hate coming here because it was outdated and depressing. Today my girlfriend was craving taco bell so we stopped by. I was amazed how comfortable I felt here. It was so clean and the colors were warm. It didn’t feel like every other fast food joint from before. I was actually proud that this nicely decorated tacobell was in my neighborhood. I the service was great, No punk ass kids who don’t care about their jobs served us. Adults who took pride in their work were the ones who attended to us.
I will be most definitely be coming here again. Good work taco bell. Keep up the good work.

This is the best TB location I’ve been to! It’s remodeled, super clean and everyone is very pleasant. The manager is Joy and she always remembers us. They rarely mess up my order, which is normal for most fast food joints. If they mess up, we usually get something extra or the next size up on the freezie. My kids loved the black cherry Freezie. Please bring it back! Great customer service!

I went to Taco Bell #17 in San Gabriel, CA on 3÷28÷2015. After taking a tour of Hollywood and visiting the Crossroads of the World and the Church of Scientology I was hungry. Unlike the Crossroad of the World and the Church of Scientology I can always take photos at Taco Bell. Plus, good food and good service.

If you can’t eat dairy then don’t come here. I asked for no cheese and they still put cheese! Wtf how hard is it to read the order?!
But then what does one expect from a fast food joint

For a fast food place, this taco bell is pretty decent. The food is consistent, the service is friendly, and clean. The place was renovated and usually not crowded. Parking is easy and close by to a lot of the SGV places.

I don’t think most people bother to review fast food restaurants because they are usually average to below average, but this Taco Bell location stood out from the rest with their excellent customer service.
Their employees are friendly and they compensate their customers for even small inconveniences they accidentally impose on them. For example, they forgot to add an item onto my order so they hooked me up with a little extra at the end. I wasn’t an asshole, and I didn’t even demand it. I expected them to just add the item and send me on my way, but they went the extra mile without me asking. Sure it didn’t cost them much, but seeing that they truly value the principle of customer satisfaction was a pleasant surprise.
Also, I don’t understand how people are giving this place 1 star just because «Taco Bell isn’t real Mexican food.» Sure, Taco Bell doesn’t hold its roots from Michoacan or any other part of Mexico, but it is still delicious. You’re not buying «real Mexican food’ here; you’re buying Taco Bell. If you wanted real Mexican food, you wouldn’t eat here, but there are always some days where you miss the unique soft taco taste that only Taco Bell can offer. It’s petty to want to hurt a business just because Taco Bell exists as an establishment that serves their own type of food.
In a nutshell, the outstanding service is what made me give this place 5-​stars, because most fast food restaurants do not have it. The food is good (has the Taco Bell taste) affordable, and the staff is amazing.

I’m reviewing this Taco Bell because I just went through the drive thru and was barely paying attention. I ordered 2 items, the girl at the window handed me a bag, I saw the hot sauce I asked for inside the bag, didn’t hear what she said, and took off out of the drive thru. All of a sudden in my rear view mirror, I saw the girl from the window sprint outside and started waving a white towel around, trying to flag me down! Apparently I only got the 1^st of my 2 items and she had said «were just waiting on your (whatever was missing).» Another guy walked down the way to bring me the rest of my order. I thought that was amazing service! Especially considering both the girl at the window and the guy who brought me my food probably make minimum wage, I really appreciate how hard they worked to get my food to me before I took off out of the parking lot. Awesome job!
Oh, and they got my order right with plenty of sauce to go around. :)

I’m a person that lives my Taco Bell, an I love this Taco Bell. Great workers, great management, great hot fast food. Everybody knows when I come here an they always greet with a smile. Best Taco Bell ever!!!

I really like this Taco Bell location. It’s pretty clean and the service is good. The employees are very friendly and I get my food pretty quickly. Their breakfasts are good, especially the AM crunchwrap.

All three of my kids likes to grab Taco Bell on a Sunday afternoon. One kid likes soft beef tacos, the girls likes doritos beef tacos, and my big kid likes to order varieties on the menu.
I love picking at their foods.

This Taco Bell is usually on their game
On good days, I don’t hang my head in shame
Sometimes, they even remember my name!
When my pockets are light,
I always come here to eat
For sunny days get the freeze
Cause’ it always beats the heat.
Medium Drinks are $ 1 on Happy Hour
Get refills for days, it like a free shower
But they may run out of freezes
And make your face sour.
If you want to get diarrhea,
Just order a taco, burrito, or tortilla
It will make you go mama mia!
(But its still bomb)

Wow was shocked at how bad this location was! We went through drive through at about 10:30pm. Ordering was fine. When we got to the window, she asked us how many packets of sauce do we want. Wow a Taco Bell has never asked me how much sauce I wanted before. Then next thing u know she hands our food. Everything was accounted for except my change!!! She said she gave it to us with the receipt. But the receipt was in the bag with the food! So we had to pull over to the side until her boss can authorize that. Which took another 5 minutes!!!
When we finally got home our crunchy tacos and soft tacos we ordered was leaking sauce in the bag! Wtf!!! Packaging was ripping from the sauce dripping along with our sauce drench napkins. Right when I opened my crunchy tacos the shell was already broken on both sides!!! What the hell!!! Finally when I got to my cinnamon twists another huge disappointment! There was no cinnamon on it at all!!! It was just fried crackers with no sweetness. This location has got to do something about not only their service but the food as well. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND DISSATISFIED!

Fast service, nice workers.
My only gripe is that they are not open ²⁴⁄₇. Taco Bell is the ultimate place for munchies, and it was no fun finding out they aren’t open late after a night of drinking. Wahhhh.

Clean atmosphere. Cheap food. Friendly staff. Lowered car non friendly. Next to a high school so its best to not come around 3 if you hate waiting around for your food

This has always been my favorite Taco Bell. Not because I actually like their stuff but because I have so many funny memories here. I was introduced to the Crunch Wrap Supreme here and fell in love. And they still have the Doritos Locos Tacos! Awesome, thank you!

My dearest Taco Bell Corporate,
I came upon your tacos once more in a strange neighborhood when I was hungry and weary from my travels. If this Taco Bell were a potato then it would be a nice potato. They had tacos, I wanted them. Transaction consummated: with extreme vengeance because I did not receive my «assload» (in the parlance of Master Shake) of fire sauce packets that I had requested.
