I am sooo lazy about haircuts. For the last few years, I pretty much get 1 haircut a year. I like coming here because it is cheap and no frills and it gets the job done. Since I only cut my hair once a year, you can imagine it to be long and riddled with split ends. There’s 2 guys who cut hair here, and I usually go with«Ah Dat». My mom has been coming here for a very long time and only trusts him with her head of hair. I show him a photo of what I want(a bob) and basically watch him like a hawk because there are times where my cut ended up on the more fobby side. Going from past shoulder length hair to a bob = $ 20. Really can’t beat the price. I usually show up after washing my own hair(I think throw in another $ 5 if you want them to wash it). I tip him $ 10 since it takes almost an hour to go through my head of hair. Appointments are a bit of a hit and miss so show up on a weekday before noon if you don’t want to wait. Depending on how many people are waiting, I sometimes let a gentleman go first since he has to spend so much more time on my hair vs. the guy. He speaks Cantonese and Mandarin. Parking: sucks. They don’t have a dedicated parking lot so either street or park in Hawaii Supermarkets parking lot. Bring cash!

Rocky has been my hair stylist for the past year, and I have no complaints. I always show Rocky a picture of how I want my hair, and he delivers. A regular haircut by Rocky is $ 20, and I always tip $ 5. So for $ 25, I leave the salon feeling at least a pound lighter, and my hair so much more healthy looking.

The hair stylist cut hair pretty good. Took my kids there for hair cut, the stylist is really patience and good with kids. Very friendly and professional. Will go there for hair cut.
