Wonderful place to get facials. I’m very happy every time I see Jean, because when I come in for facial I know she will take care of my skin plus she makes me relax the whole time.
Jean is the owner and employee so I always call for appointment. I started seeing her for my acne prone skin and I don’t know what exactly causes my skin problems, but I tried a lot of different brands and products to prevent acne. When Jean takes a look at my face she knows exactly what treatment to give me and will document on a sheet for next time. I seriously never experienced facials that worked on me before. After a couple sessions with Jean I started to notice a change in my skin texture and tone.
Jean uses products by Guinot and I love the blemish concealer, it works wonders on scabs and cuts oh and pimples of course! Her facials starts off with gentle cleansing of the face and neck. As you relax under the steamer she massages the necks and shoulders very comfortably. The rest of the treatment really depends on your skin type with my acne prone skin it’s usually extractions and clarifying mask. The best thing about her work style is she will say to you what she will be applying to your skin. I feel more secure knowing what goes on my face since it’s the only one I got.
Jean is a professional and funny to talk to after a long day you just want to be pampered. Even though my skin has cleared up a lot I still get facials from Jean for other treatments to protect my skin and keep it looking as good as it can be. What’s beauty without prevention and care.

I will agree with my sister that infrequent European-​style facials are not the best for acne prone skin. If you want every single impurity removed (meaning painful extractions), expensive add-​on treatments, and/​or the regimented, timed session, this place is not for you.
I’ve gotten facials all over the San Gabriel Valley (Downtown, Monterey Park, Alhambra, San Gabriel, Pasadena, Arcadia, Hacienda Heights, Industry, and even as far as Diamond Bar), and I have yet to find a place that beats Jean’s competitive prices and quality. I receive an hour and a half plus facial that includes neck and shoulder massage, and eyebrow touch-​up. She doesn’t rush and spends as much time as needed on specific areas. Sometimes this means more time removing impurities, others it means a longer or additional massage session because she notices how tense my muscles are.
Her shop is clean and relaxing. Unlike the typical 50 minute, 1 hour, or 90 minute facial that most places offer, she runs her own business, accommodating your schedule, and not the next appointment someone else has booked for her. This means nothing is sacrificed in lieu of something else. As an overworked teacher and new mom to twin babies, soon to be toddlers, I’m more concerned with making sure I get the chance to pamper myself every few months. =.)

Jean is really nice and accommodating with your schedule. I’ve gotten at least 5 facials from this place but I didn’t see the results I was hoping for. I would suggest that people come here only if they have minimal acne. I’m glad I didn’t buy the package.
