GREATDONUTS! It’s hard to find a donut place where the dough is soft and fluffy! But, this place has it all and I love the chocolate donuts! Coffee is excellent!

Just came her recently. I feel a little let-down by the«high» reviews here on Unilocal.I got a chance to order a cold-sandwich and a bunch of donuts. The cold sandwich wasn’t bad– so-so, wrapped in a plastic wrap for $ 3, it’s def. not presentable. However when I was eating it, it actually tasted decent. In terms of donut quality, I felt that the«glaze» here is very thin and does not have the thickness as other places. The quality is very«meh». I feel that they charge a lot more for their donuts here more than my «usual» donut place but the quality is not as good. Also the guy who serviced me was not very friendly. Usually my other donut place is way better. My other place provides DELICIOUS fresh donuts at ANY time of the day. and very friendly service… so that held the bar very high. Sadly, I just noticed that place wasn’t that great. Felt like amateur hour when it came to donuts.

This is my local donut shop and the owners are very nice. The place is always clean. They are now selling sandwiches, smoothies, bagel sandwiches besides donuts and croissants. They have a sandwich combo w/bag of chips and soda $ 4.99(not positive). I usually get their flacks croissant or regular glaze donut or cinnamon roll. Sometimes they sell out their croissants before 11am. If you buy their donut holes, they will give little more in the bag since it’s so cheap. Cash only.

Where do i start? I love the fact that they open super early or in my case pâté when im getting home in the morning. My favorite is the ham and cheese crossaint, totally worth the 2.95. Especially when its fresh out the oven. The cheese just oozes out. I want to order another one just by describing it. Ha The custard filled donuts with the chocolate coating are to die for. The owners are really nice, and always give great service. So happy its only a few blocks away. Im going back to these donut holes, looks like they need some attention lol

So I had the chance to meet Vanessa, the owner of this donut shop. I was looking for a decent donut shop to have some coffee & donuts. I am so glad I stopped by this place. The coffee & cinnamon roll was delicious! The cinnamon roll was the size of the palm of my hand if not bigger. Not only they sell delicious donuts & coffee, they also sell boba drinks, sandwiches & many other goodies for you to choose from. If you are ever in the neighborhood, please stop by and try this place. Please say hi to Vanessa. Support your local mom & pop shop starting with this place, Happy Donut. After taking my first bite into my cinnamon roll, I started singing the«Happy» song by Pharrell. Below is my rendition of the song. «Because I’m happy Clap along if you feel drinking coffee & donuts makes you feel good. Because I’m happy Tons of varieties from boba, sandwiches & orange juice for you to choose. Because I’m happy Donuts are so nice & fresh, just by looking at it will make your mouth drool. Because I’m happy Stop by at Happy Donut & let Vanessa take care of you!» Happy — Pharrell

I’d just finished dinner at the Golden Deli and saw the Happy Donut sign in the next parking lot. I thought I’d check it out and was really glad I did. First of all, I was happy they were still open. It was 8:30pm and they were still open and still had fresh donuts, and a pretty good selection for that late in the day. The donuts are delicious. I highly recommend the glaze twist donut. The bread has a really nice flavor, and it not overly sweet. Very nice texture. If you want to go cake donut, definitely go for the blueberry. It was a cake donut with blueberry frosting. I could eat a dozen of those! They have seating if you want to eat your delicious donuts on the premises. A half dozen donuts were $ 4.75. Great deal for great donutes. The owner, Vanessa is really nice. She told me it’s been family owned for over 30 years. If you have a hankerin’ for a good donut, Happy Donut will make you happy!

June 5 was National Donut Day so I got 2 dozen donuts for my coworkers = $ 16. They were okay. At least the one i had was not as soft as expected, actually the dough was dense not airy. I nibbled one other one and it was okay, not crazy about their glaze but I might be biased because i am not a fan of donuts.(Or because NY’s Doughnut Factory has totally spoiled me) I do know that they should be soft soft soft, just fried. My coworkers all thanked me for them and spirits seemed high at work so they must’ve liked them. At least If I can make some people happy, I’m happy. :) Unfortunately they were running out of most types, maybe it was the«Holiday» and everyone is buying tons of donuts, but I wished they had more options. Next year, prep ahead with the idea that donuts are worth celebrating and make twice as many? That’s my suggestion.

Some of the most fresh donuts I’ve ever had. I went both in the morning and at night and both times the donuts were fresh and delicious. The Taro boba is amazing as well!!! And if you never carry cash don’t worry there is an ATM inside!

Nice friendly donut shop staff — this review is for their hot breakfast sandwich selection. Will try donuts next time. Limited variety of hot Bfast stuff — actually the only thing listed was their ham n cheese croissant sandwich for $ 2.95. They do have bagels in the morning with cream cheese. It was pretty good — think clutch purse size and filling was decent amount — kinda salty though the ham and cheese — provolone — I think. The croissant itself was crispy and not extremely flaky and so I was able to eat it on my way to work. Would have like it warmed up a lil more. It was already pre made and just ready to be bag when selected. Two stars off: the croissant sandwich could have been a lil hotter and limited hot Bfast sandwich. I’ll stick to Rose Donuts over in my area for that portion. Overall, nice place to try, and hopefully, the donuts are better.

Cash only, but there is an ATM inside. The owners are kind and patient, always offering to make a drink recommendation when I can’t decide. Keep in mind the powdered drinks only come in a single size, which is about 16 oz. The donuts are tasty and very reasonably priced; I am pleased with the variety. There is seating for about 2 or 3 people. When I’m in the area lunching at the El Pollo Loco, I’m likely to stop in here for a donut or drink. Overall nothing super fancy or special, but they have been loyally serving their customers with quality donuts for years, and I respect that.

I came here earlier this week during the morning and ordered a dozen donuts. The Asian lady serving everyone was quite impatient if you weren’t a regular here and knew what you wanted. She seemed to put on a «caring» façade for the 30 seconds the regulars came in just to get their money. Anyways when I was deciding which donuts to get, the lady was obviously so annoyed. Her husband had to come and take over her service. I advise you to come prepared with what you want to order or else receive death stares from the Asian lady working there. Anyways besides the service, the donuts were pretty decent and relatively cheap.

Personally my favorite best tasting donuts ever! I use to live up the street from here, and it definitely made my personal property evaluation go up lol. I guess I really love soft, but still well cooked, fresh donuts. Happy donuts can only make me happy :)

I Love Happy Donuts! Fresh donuts and really awesome muffins. The jalapeño and ham croissant is very very good,(and priced right at $ 2.50) but get there super early in the morning because they always run out! I love the Bear Claws and the Apple Fritters are fabulous!(No raisins… Woo Hoo). The owners are really friendly to. Always Happy :-), just like the name. So if you need a donut fix, get in to the Happiest Donut house in San Gabriel, and get to Happy Donuts!

Sweet family runs this donut shop. The sisters and mom man the counter and are always cheerful and friendly. I think the boys make the donuts in the back. Also has a selection of bagels, croissants and sandwiches. All good. Still cheap prices for quality donuts. Pretty good coffee. Old but clean interiors. Great for picking up a couple of chocolate bars after picking up a pizza at Gino’s a few doors down. Plenty of parking in the lot of on the nearby street. Happy Donuts you make my belly happy!

This donut shop will forever hold memories of 2 teenage girls who had sweet teeth(not tooth, we looooooved our donuts) for soft sweets early in the morning before school. The BFF and I use this donut shop will forever hold memories of 2 teenage girls who had sweet teeth(not tooth, they loooooooved their sweets) for freshly baked donuts early in the morning. the bff and i use to always come to this donut shop our senior year of high school before we’d go to class. actually. we use to sometimes just choose to hang out here(in other words ditch to eat donuts) till second period or third period, whenever we were done stuffing our faces and then go to school. i would have to say that the donuts here are just as soft and heavenly as krispy kremes. not exaggerating, i’m serious! you have to try a classic glazed donut for $.80 yourself and tell me i am wrong. the classic glazed donut here is my favorite. it’s equivalent to 2 – 3 kk donuts. soooooo sooooooft… *om om om if you ever happen to pass by, step in! i promise you won’t regret it :)
