I don’t understand why the rate is so low. As a hot pot lover, I think this is best one in town, they have special authentic Chinese items that you are not able to find in other hot pot restaurants. I asked cold noodle, even though they were out of it, the owner insisted cook one for me. who can say they have bad service? I definitely recommend to anybody who wants to try authentic Chinese hot pot.

I came here about 2 days ago during lunch and I have to say the waitress she was a b**** I swear to God I have never met a waitress at did not care one bit if she is just a worker I recommend the owner to get rid of her music was loud like if she was having boyfriend problems listening to some love music I did not understand the music but it was super loud we came in and got the all you can eat my fiancé asked for a bowl of rice and she said no that it will cost a dollar more I forgot the part of me asking for the rice. If it comes with the meal the place was a little dirty with a pot cook it was really dirty we still ate here the food wasn’t bad but for the price it was not worth it I really wouldn’t recommend this place one time was enough

The best Sichuan hotspot in usa! Ever! 鹅肠,黑毛肚,麻辣牛肉,脑花!I couldn’t believe the rates are so low. As a person from Sichuan, it just so close to the taste in chengdu.

Very very good hot pot here! I was suspicious about this place since the review wasn’t so good. A friend recommended this place, I figure I gave it a try! Wow wow wow, so authentic! All the dishes are so fresh, hot pot base soup is so tasty and flavorful! Try it, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Me and my friend came here on a monday afternoon right at 11:30. No other parties came in except for one table the whole time we were there. This location is not good in my opinion; when people drive by, it’s not noticeable because the plaza is pretty small. There’s also a nha trang, half and half, cvs and a subway in this plaza. The worker doesn’t speak much English, but he’s really nice and tried his hardest to answer all the questions we asked him. They have all you can eat for $ 20, on Tuesdays it’s $ 18. They also have a la carte items for you to choose from if you don’t want to eat ayce! I really like how their a la carte has a half portion price. So instead of having a big plate of something and you’re not even able to finish it, you can order the half plate and they’ll give you less and it’s cheaper as well. I like having variety, plus I also can’t eat that much anyways, so the half price is perfect for me! The whole bill came out to be $ 25, with tip it’s $ 30 for 2 people. We got 7 items and 2 rices. Super cheap! They also give you 12% discount if you order a la carte too. The soup pots are so fancy, I was really intrigued. They’re super big and gold, it looks really cool. We got the half and half soup; they only allow you to get the mala spicy soup and their original soup(white color) for half and half. Their original soup was bland, but we just got salt from their sauce bar and it tasted a lot better. Their spicy soup is pretty good, don’t need to add salt in that one. They have a sauce bar in the back that has green onions, garlic, cilantro, satay sauce, hot chili oil, soy sauce, two types of vinegar, sesame oil, salt, pepper, and MSG(haha). I forgot what else they had but that’s a majority of it. I love their white rice, I pretty much wanted to eat 2 bowls of it. It came out hot, fresh and the texture was just right. I really liked their shiitake mushrooms and wide potato noodles as well. All the other items we got(Napa, spinach, enoki, frozen tofu and bean curd) all tastes the same as everywhere else.

All was well till I bit into a rancid corn. I love corn and after this I’m a bit scared to consume corn again! Worst taste I’ve experienced. I had my boyfriend taste it too, thinking maybe it was just me but he immediately spit it out. How can they serve something rotten? I did not like the plum juice either, I’ve had it before in another restaurant I loved it so thought I’d like it here, nope. Besides this, there wasn’t anything else that stood out as exceptionally good or bad. Nothing really memorable.

This is one of those places I wished Unilocal would give us a zero star rating. I saw this place weeks ago while waiting for my half and half. Finally had the chance to drag the bf here to try it. Considering how hot the last couple of days had been, he was not up for hot pot at all. However he knew I was craving for hot pot. This place is just a mess, dirty, filthy mess… Cleanliness: tables were sticky, chairs had rice and dried food pieces on it, cup had food residue, most of the ceramic plates were shattered on the edges, the fresh thick noodle had blue mold on it, the enoki mushroom was slimy and not fresh, sauce plates had dried food stains Food quality: by now with the way things were going with the cleanliness, my bf was already anticipating a major stomache. The vegetables do not look like they were cleaned well. The meats did not look fresh. Pork belly was decent, however it was so thin that it breaks apart easily. Beef and squid meatballs were decent. Sauce was not good at all. They ran out of satay sauce and I requested for more from the server. I saw him bring out the container and ladled one scoop into the container and stopped refilling more. The satay was still diluted by the amount of satay oil and barely had any satay in it. He was very stingy on the satay. The onion, cilantro and garlic looked like it has been sitting out for a very long time. Service: this was my worst experience ever. The girl just stands there at a distance and looks at people in an awkward way. After I had made several complaints about the dirty plates and cups, then the mold on the noodle, I can tell the two were standing from a distance talking shit about our complaints because she was giving me dirty looks. She handed us our bill and we waited another 15 mins to give us change. There were only two tables, it was not that busy. It really looks like they cannot handle multiple tables. Overall, I can see that the two servers do not have a basic understanding and skills of meeting their customers needs. I told my bf to just tip 5 percent for the horrible service but he didn’t want to tip that low, so he did 12percent. I really had wished I Unilocaled this place before I wasted my money on this place. I URGEYOUALLTOAVOIDTHISPLACE! It’s really not worth it. Now we are starting to wonder if it’s going to make us sick in the next few hours… By the way… I recognize that one of the high reviewers on here is one of the servers. Beware…

Wish I can give a 0 to this place. This place is deceiving, unfaithful and most importantly pathetic. Horrible experience all around, first they tried to trick us with a Non-AYCE menu even tho we told them clearly we want the AYCE deal. I mean WTF, this is not the way to do business here in America. Then, it took them 30 mins to deliver first batch of our order(this is ridiculous consider the restaurant is 80 percent empty). It was pretty warm day(around 85 degrees outside), they intentionally turned off AC due to lack of customers(hey, how can you have more customer if you don’t even want to turn on the AC on a warm day). After 1st round of AYCE we felt like we are being audited by their staff(especially the Asian girl with long blonde hair, who we believe to be owner’s daughter) then you can pretty much guess out rest of the story… Will NEVERGO again even if someone is paying for me. Yes, it’s that bad.

Sir, the food was so terrible there’s no point for me to remember the day I went to your restaurant. As mentioned the meat and veggies weren’t fresh at all. Several customer who came in after I settle in eating, left right after walking in.

To be honest, I’m a huge Hot Pot lover while my friends don’t really like spicy. I came to this place and it surprised me. It’s amazing. We initially planed on trying Chengdu Taste but last minute changes landed us in Fat Bull Hot Pot and it is beyond imagination! When we sat down our server tried to explain how we order and how the paper menu works. He would like us to pick a soup base first. They have different opinions for their broth. Since I am a spicy fan, our server recommended the House Yin Yang Pot, which means it has half spicy soup and beef broth on the other side. Perfect! When we are waiting for our pot, we were told that they also have a sauce bar, where you can customize your own dipping sauce. Looooots of options from. I tried some sesame paste and sesame oil. The broth are loaded with Chinese herbs and spices. Some people chock with the spicy broth because of the chili peppers and oils, so be careful. — lamb is thinly sliced and quickly cooked in broth. — shiitake mushrooms and cabbages are fresh and always delicious. — sponge tofu is really soft! Lol. Just picking it up with your chopsticks, it won’t split apart or collapse. — duck goose is amazing! The server is so nice that he told us 5 – 8 seconds will be the best cooking time for the duck goose. It was the first time we tried duck goose, definitely we fell in love with it! Price– wise… I’ve been to other hotpot places and paid way more. What makes me happy is that we got 12% off at the end of the dinner. They said it was because their anniversary. Yay~~~~~~~ Definitely will be back for more.

I really don’t think it’s that bad. I was gonna have it a five star review but after seeing those negative reviews I decided to gave it four. It did took a while for them to give us our 3rd of order. The food was good.

I would give –5 stars if I could. If I wanted to lose extra weight before an event I’d come here to ensure a bout of food poisoning due to the terrible quality of raw meats. Like all the reviews have mentioned, portions are meager and rounds take curiously long to come out(it wasn’t even a full house!). Now let’s talk service. Typical rude Asian boss man who relies on the staff to do his dirty work(I’m Asian so no I’m not being racist). There were a group of people outside next to the heater on this 35 degree evening and I watched as the boss instructed begrudgingly to turn off the lamp. When the waiter turned it halfway down and came back inside, the boss scolded the waiter to turn the lamp off completely. Needless to say, the group left. Ridiculous. I will not be returning to support this type of behavior. I mean, the lamp was on for hours heating no one before the group came along. Fat Bull? Load of Fat Bull Sh*t.

This place is bullshit. We go for all you can eat today. The soup has no flavor. We wait for a long time for the meat and vegetables. There is only a few slices of very thin meat and the vegetable is not fresh. When we ordered the second round, it takes even longer. We stayed for two hours but not full at all. The service is also like s**t. They only help guest who order the regular menu. DONOTCOMEFOREVER!

Not too spicy but full of flavor. Love their shrimp, which is so fresh and clean. Service is a bit slow but understandable since it is an all u can eat place. You can also choose to order dishes by its price. However, after a few visits, my favorite way to order is go with all you eat and then order some extra dishes from order-by-price menu. Got a full stomach and happy weekend night here. Will revisit when I’m missing spicy hot pot. Btw, they don’t take reservation. Be here before or after rush hours to avoid 30 mi. To 1 hour waiting.

They are very tricky. AYCE banner hung outside their restaurant, but they give you their regular priced menu thinking it’s ALLYOUCANEAT. They have specials for 17.99 $ on Tuesday: all you can eat, but when we asked for the AYCE menu they said«we don’t have that today because someone isn’t here ???» WHAT!!! so I can’t have AYCE hot pot because you’re short on staff? that doesn’t make any sense to me I will not be a returning customer.

Place is located in the heart of San Gabriel, filled with customers from China and bus boys who speak minimum or no English. Service might appear rude to some but it’s not intentional. And if they are, it’s only because mainlander customers in general can be pretty freaking loud and outspoken, such as the people sitting next to us. You have an option of getting the all you can eat for $ 19.99 or regular price for 12% off. There’s a $ 17.99 Tuesday night special for all you can eat. Their vegetables and meat were average and some of their fish balls were hand made but since they all go in the soup at the end, it doesn’t matter much to me on their quality. I usually like the spicy mala soup at most hot pot places, though I didn’t care too much for this one. This tasted tremendously oily and bland. Their self serve sauces too were oily and bland. What I would never order myself but noticed from other tables is their dish of deep fried snails. Must be a popular dish since almost every table around us had one. Considering the average taste and service here, the snail dish may be the very reason why this place is always packed, despite the horrible rating on Unilocal. I wouldn’t come here again but YOU should just to try their snails, if you fancy such disgusting critters in your stomach.

I would really like to give this place a better scores but it’s really hard. Great quality for the food. Bad attitude for the owner’s daughter. Good for the price. Worse for that owner’ daughter. Very yummy soup and fresh selection. awfully disgusting face of the owner’s daughter. Servers are very attentive, following up with our table for waters and orders. Owner’s daughter just look away when you try to wave her down. the only thing that can catch her attention is the money on the table. not even a thank you. I would like to give this place a Second chance ONLY the owner’s daughter is not in the way. everything goes a lot better when she’s not around.
