reservations for this shit hole? are you kidding me? we were staying at the hotel across the street and decided to walk over for a drink. we were turned away because we didn’t have a reservation number. i personally think it was because we were«non-asian». it’s just the feeling we got.

Was led here with a friend and his group who was celebrating his birthday this past weekend. This bar is basically a Chinese hostess bar for lonely Asian guys who are willing to spend up to $ 400 for a table and drinks to talk to a Chinese lady hostess. As hostess bars goes the ladies here are very gorgeous. Even a country bumpkin like myself from the SF Bay Area still knows the drill though that with each lady that comes to talk and toast a drink with you, that’s money you have to tip that individual. So I was careful as to who I talked to once I realized where I was. Thanks a lot guys, for not telling me where we were going. :P But all in all it was a good experience seeing how people party in LA. But beware of the mama san in this place, she expects a tip as well, and she can be quite demanding for that $$$. I did not like her much, but the ladies were nice, and I did make a new friend. :)
