Alter Years offers historical, ethnic dance and specialty patterns, a vast collection of hard to find costume books, supplies and underpinnings. I remember the first time I came to this place it was 1993, I was a young girl of 12 years old and my love for all clothing from the Medieval Period to the 1960’s was in full swing. So for me finding a shop that carried wonderful patterns and costume books was a marvelous thing. **Funny fact I have about 1000 patterns.** Besides it being a cool little shop to get patterns and all the trimmings at the owner Janet Wilson Anderson is a well of knowledge when it comes to costumes. She has been a costumer for over 30 years.
