I signed up for this gym about 4 months ago but didn’t get around to writting the reviews. They are new so they’re class schedule was a mess. Nothing was concrete. The equipment is very old and this suppose to be a new gym! I also tried the personal training but was no impressed at all. The trainer lacked energy and knowledge on nutrition as well on the workouts themselves! I can tell she has not been a trainer for very long. Also, I had a problem with their double charges on my account. I called and asked to have my money refunded and they said that in their«system» it did not show the double payment. I faxed over a copy of my checking account. Nobody got back to me! Bad customer service, Old equipment, small gym, unstable class schedule. It’s everything a gym should NOT be.

I only go there for Emily Palacio’s Zumba class. Other than her class I don’t think they have much going for them. A big pet peeve of mine is people working for a business with awful customer service skills. I was trying to pay for an individual class and it took me forever to get my change back because the person attending me decided to have a conversation with another employee. People behind the desk are rude, hardly ever greet people, and have no knowledge of the class schedule. While Zumba class is going on people walk across to get equipment,(because this gym is so small), and people from the outside stare at you while you’r working out. I don’t think this would be so bad, if people who worked there wouldn’t be so rude, pretetious, and conceided… relax you’re still in San Fernando. Aside from all this, once Emily starts, this stuff doesn’t matter because she really works you out and makes you feel good.

I signed up for this gym at the same time they openend which was about four months ago. I decided to give them a try because they promised to have crossfit classes in the mornings. I also received personal training from them. I do not like this gym and here is why: 1. Aside from personal training I never went in there on my own because it is too small and not enough equipment. 2. Too pricy $ 45 a month and its a small gym in comparison to other gyms such as the Santa Clarita Athletic Center which has a full basketball court, a pool, several studio spaces, and they only charge me $ 35. 3. Personal training is not great, I went with Jenna. She wasn’t that bad, but she is inexperienced and charged $ 20 per 30min or $ 40 for the hour, which is a very low price. What bothered me from our training sessions is that often times she was sleepy and seemed out of it, lacked energy. Personal trainers need to have energy and give you a boost! Honestly I felt sleepy during our sessions, but I ultimately got what I paid for. 4. Being that the gym is new, their class schedules are not steady, they tend to change on a weekly basis. 5. They were double charging me, until finally I catched on to it. When I called to let them know, the person told me that their system had a malfunction and it was charging twice by mistake. Seeme like some people have gotten what they need out of this gym, but personally it is not for me. Crossfit is what I was interested in, and I ended up joining an awesome crossfit gym that met my needs. The positive thing is that there is not contract, so you can try it and if it is for you then keep the membership.

I only go to this gym for Emily Palacios’s Zumba class. The front desk clerk never seems to know what to do and never greets anybody that walks in.
