The aroma of the chicken itself while is on the grill hooks you in! Juicy, and delicious! Love the fried Plantains and the french fries! We love the flavor of the fresh salsas and crispy cucumbers with lemon juice and spices! The pupusas are amazing as well. I recommend their chicken soup too, especially when you find yourself under the weather. Love walking in there and bumping into people who share their childhood memories telling the sales lady how they have been going there since they were kids. ***love ordering their party packs for my family reunions as well*** yumm!!!

Best Mexican style charbroiled chicken in the whole valley. Honestly, if you’re one of those Pollo Loco lovers, I guess you love dried chicken. Been coming here as long as I can remember. Affordable, delicious and friendly.

As an El Pollo Loco lover, I made it a point to stop here. Not the cleanest place in the world, but adequate. Pricing was slightly less than EPL. Chicken was good, but not great, nothing special. I don’t think I would go out of my way to come here.

We recently had Pollo Gordo cater food for my mom’s 70th birthday party. The food arrived on time. Delivered nice and warm ready to eat. They gave large portions! Huge pieces of chicken! I was very pleased with their business. I plan to have them cater again.

My family and I been coming here for years… until our last visit, we will No longer be giving them our business. Not only was the owner rude, she was in a hurry to take our order. She was extremely unprofessional with her employee, and that is unacceptable. When the Co owner Luis was there, it was always a pleasant visit. The Macaroni salad is gross. Not The same.

Food was ok. Went in there and picked up some chicken and potato salad some rice and salsas and it was good. Nothing to jump up and down over but still good. My hubby isn’t a fan. The young man at the counter was nice, a little sarcastic but hey I have a sense of humor. It seems like they have their regulars here which is probably what keeps them in business. Nobody I know eats here. I probably won’t be back. Nothing personal but if I want some chicken I’ll just head over to costco for one of theirs. Sorry pollo Gordo.

I am skeptical about ordering from new places. But I also like to give a hole in a wall places the benefit of the doubt. The cashier who helped us on 3÷7÷15 was pleasant and charged us $ 125 for a party order.(chicken 50 pieces, rice beans, potato salad and tortillas including salsa). The order was place to be picked up the next day at 1 pm but we arrived at 1:40 pm. A woman at the counter did not greet us nor asked us if we needed service. We told her we were there to pick up a large order, she made us wait 10 minutes and them asked if we had a receipt, we didn’t have a receipt but we didn’t think we needed it since it had already had been paid for in advance… She Refused to give us the order even after confirming our name, address and telephone number… 10 minutes later she replied with” next time you BETTER have a receipt or we will not give you your food!!!” She continue to use antagonizing comments after we told her that that there will not be a next time for us! She would not stop her sarcastic comments and even involved other customers to bad mouth us. I simply and cordially told her to have a pleasant day and walked away, for fear that she would give us dirty/spit/food. The food could have been delicious, but the customer service needs refining or employees need retraining. Concern customer… and mystery shopper ;(

I have been going to this place ever since I was a little girl. The chicken never disappoints… I am obsessed with their red salsa I seriously put that on everything. The owner is fantastic always greets me. The place is very welcoming but the food is awesome… I’m not a fan of pollo loco and maybe it’s because this place has spoiled me. I will only come here and have already converted a few coworkers.

Yummy! Moist chicken, great prices, good beans!(I don’t think the beans were canned which is a big plus) and food was ready in less than five minutes! Close and convenient.

There is a reason this place has been around for 25+ years. In an area full of latinos who love good food at an affordable price this place has been delivering on both of those for decades. It’s like El Pollo Loco(but better) before it was a chain. I’ve been eating here for 20+ years and recommend it for quality and no-frill food.

I’m usually skeptical about trying out new places especially where there is chicken because it can be easily overcooked and dry. HOWEVER, the chicken was moist and flavorful! They give very good portions too! Their horchata was delicious as well. They’re were very nice and provided good customer service. I would definitely come back here.

Hangs down the best chicken in SFV. Like Chis S. said, «El Pollo Loco has nothing on this place!» Must try if you’re ever by the 5 and 118.

This place is better then all the chicken places! I order from them all time! They even catered to my kids birthday! And everyone said such good things on how great the food was! I will be coming back soon! They never disappoint me!:)

According to Unilocal they deliver. So I called to try and order some lunch for delivery. Unfortunately when I’m at my office i am literally stuck here and can’t leave. So I have to order in. I called to ask if I could order delivery and I was told that I needed to order a day in advance for delivery. I was confused and asked him again to make sure I heard right. So apparently if you need food delivered from this restaurant you’re supposed to call them a day in advance to predict when you’ll be hungry…

This place is great! Rotisserie chicken is good, rice & beans were delicious, pricing is accurate given all the free condiments & the lemonade was very good. Definitely a place I would recommend. And if your not in the mood for chicken they have carne asada and pupusas.

This is an excellent place to order chicken for a large party or get together. I was introduced to this establishment through a relative and I’m glad they did. The chicken is delicious and will come back to try more things. I completely recommended for a party if you want grilled chicken.

Found this location a little of the 5 fwy as I was on the way to Sylmar. I saw the big ‘Pollo a la Brasa’ sign and got excited thinking it was Peruvian. It turned out to be Mexican/El Salvadorian, but whatevs — it turned out to be really tasty chicken! PARKING: they have a few spots just for the restaurant right in front. They are clearly marked, so don’t park in front of the party supply location. We ordered the 12 piece family meal which was a great deal at $ 16.99. It came with chicken, a huge container of rice, a small side of beans, salsa and lots of tortillas. We also got a side of plantains plain(you can get them with a white cream sauce?) I had to get jamaica to drink and it turned out to be perfect — not overloaded with sugar nor was it bitter. I saw that they also sell pupusas for $ 2 — no idea what kind I assume chicken/cheese/beans? Brought the food to my Aunties; they never had it before and they loved it. the rice was yellow and a little salty/fluffy for us, but the chicken was rotisserie style and although it wasn’t wood-fired like the famous Pollo a la Brasa in Gardena , it was still juicy and tender. We made little taco-type things to eat everything. Also, I was happy to have gotten everyone fed. There was still a little left-over and like the guy told us– the meal fed about 6 people. Note that they have a salsa bar and our meal came with two salsa containers. they charge extra for more salsa. Also, they had roasted peppers and cucumbers which they gave you plastic baggies for. I am not in the area often, but it was a good find.
