Customer service was horrible! They didn’t greet us at the begging, they only counted how many of us where, and sat us where they wanted. When we try to move, the waitress was annoy by that, and ask one of our friends to move from there with a attitude. The waitress keep on throwing our food at us, and didn’t care who food was for who. One of our friends order unlimited pancakes, and we had to constantly ask her that he was waiting for more, if we wouldn’t off said anything he would’ve only gotten one plate of pancakes.

I’m here like twice a week(sometimes more). The staff here is awesome and they remember our names and food order. They will have our drinks ready for us by the time we get seated. Shout out to Jackie! and the chinita lady that tells us to sit up all the time! Haha I like the new environment after they remodeled the place. Oh and their music is on point almost every night we go there! They have XM Radio so they switch it up.

The first and last time I will ever come to this restaurant. They have the absolute WORST service. I will be calling their corporate office to file a complaint over the service and food quality. I know it’s not some high end restaurant, but regardless, the waiters/waitresses act like we’re lucky to be around them.

My husband and I have been here many times and we’ve always had a pretty good experience. But with the remodel and a few new faces, I had to finally leave an outstanding review. The ambiance is comfy, cool and intimate with an old school diner look. Our food was hot, fresh and fast! We both tried some new menu creations, and they were delicious! The beef pot roast sandwich and the Bourbon burger are a must try And last, but not least, the main reason we decided to write a review, was our waiter, Herbert. He wad nice, charismatic, and a GREAT waiter. We didn’t have to ask for refills, he frequently checked in with us and just went above and beyond. Thanks Herbert! The only downside was the manager definitely seemed like he did not want to be there. But, we didn’t have to deal with him too much during our visit so it was fine. This was a good Denny’s before but after this visit, it’s great!

Came to take my kids for dinner. One of the waitresses was eating a lollipop right in the kitchen where you can plainly see. Talk about hygiene! And I saw a cook on his phone while he was cooking. Our waiter was nice… but as a former waitress everything I saw was ridiculous.

I love this place!!! My boyfriend and I go there at least 3 times a week. It’s been over a year since we have been going. The staff is amazing! The food is amazing. Never had a bad experience at this dennys. keep it up dennys!

Denny’s is Denny’s and you will win some and lose some in service. But I have seen some way out people who mistreat staff just because they are the customers. «Guest» always want want want but when it comes time to leave a tip you find some excuse not to leave one or just a couple bucks. If you don’t have money stay home and make food. Why do you have to act like you are at home at a restaraunt?! People they think know what service is but not really. Some people are just cheap and want to pay the least. To find any complaint they can to get a free meal or a discount. How pathetic. If I leave a tip that doesn’t mean you don’t. That is for their services rendered to me not to you. The complaints about service are crazy yet I bet y’all wouldn’t even last a day.

I haven’t been to this place in a longggg time but today I validate why I will never ever come back. Service was HORRIBLE!!! It took us 45 minutes just to get our food and there wasn’t any customers. Our waitress had a horrible attitude and kept rolling her eyes every time we would ask for refills or sauce.

Micheal the manager on staff this morning needs to run a tighter ship. We waited more than 15 minutes and not a single soul stopped by to at least bring us water. In the mean time all the waitresses were chatting it up with the manager up front. We’ll be driving the extra miles for the other location on glenoaks where we’re always greeted with big smiles every time we come in. Avoid this location. On to IHOP we go.

Please be very cautious of your food here. I’m currently sitting at a booth(facing the kitchen) and I have seen several waitresses touch the food with their fingers(gloveless) to check the temperature of the food. That is a HUGE problem with me. Especially when the food is going in my mouth. Not a clean environment.

One thing i can say is parking is pretty hard to come by in the shopping center, i brought my kids here for breakfast this past Monday(8÷3÷15) right before we started out our day. We were seated right away, made eye contact with our waitress«Mary Jo» still it took her about a good 15 to 20 minutes to come and take our drink order, it was to the point where my 12 year old daughter asked me if we were being ignored. Finally she took our food order, brought us the food went around asked other tables if everything was good, she literally ignored us came by 15 minutes after to ask if we were okay, never kept our drinks full, i mean granted its breakfast and its no refills unless one is drinking coffee, and even then she didn’t ask me if i would like more coffee, my 9 year old son wanted another glass of milk so she happened to walk by and i asked her if she can bring him another glass of milk, with attitude she said«oh you want another one» of course my poor son wanted more milk. They don’t sell it to you in order for you to sell it to the customers. My 15 year old son said that the service really sucked. Basically it was such a horrible horrible service, never going back to any Denny’s.

The person that was cleaning the floors with a broom, with the same broom swept the sitting bench area, that is disgusting, so much dust and bacteria from the floor to the sitting bench, just imagine your child playing on the bench and then his/her hands get all the bacteria from the floor, then have to eat!!! NOTGOOD! wouldnt go back there, i wonder how they clean the stoves!!! Plus the service is slow even though there isnt many customers.

A couple of friends and I always love to go dine-in at night. We decided to check this Denny’s out, our table waitress was awesome with us, she was nice, outgoing and very friendly, it convinced us to revisit again, the second time we went we had a different waitress, she was cool at first but once we began being a little loud, laughing and joking around she gave us a mad-dawging look from across the kitchen. When she gave us our receipt she literally just left it on the table without asking is everything was okay, we didn’t tip her a cent! From that point on we’re never coming to this Denny’s again!

haven’t been to Denny’s in ages! And now i know why! we wanted a somewhat quick breakfast on a saturday morning but also wanted to relax stopped by Denny’s and just a5 minute wait until seated upon sitting my girlfriend and i had mixed smells, and my cushion is all messed up it wasn’t «cushiony» anymore it sank right in then she smelled urine and bathroom mess and i smelled bad coffee and syrup then i get the bathroom smell and we ask to sit outside bleh it was such a bad odor we almost lost out aptite sitting outside was nice on the patio, we were the only ones there and our waitress was nice i had to choose a quick item since my girlfriend is impatient but it turned out pretty good; i ordered the grandslamwich and she ordered the chicken fajita with chorizo her plate came out hot and sizzling, the chorizo i tasted was meh but she seemed to enjoy it my sandwich was not half bad, the potato bread was thick and toasted, omelet was filled with maple sausage, bacon, veggies, and swiss cheese we ate at 9:30 and were STILL full by 6:00pm! don’t think that is a good sign but even though it was not a huge disappointment, you just can’t give Denny’s that much to work on

Staff was very friendly. Food was delicious. If you’re going to eat here, go for dinner when Ignacio is cooking. He is the best, gets your food out quick and just the way you asked for it. He deserves a big fat raise! Great service overall! Prefer this Denny’s over the one a block away from me in Sylmar!

I’ve been here a couple times now, and for a Denny’s: Decent food, today I had the Fit Slam and it was actually pretty good. But the service is a disaster, this morning is probably the first time my waitress was decent. The only thing problems were: my fruit and muffin came later, funny cause they aren’t cooked, my boyfriend had asked for bacon that he didn’t get, and kept having to ask for water, but what really drives me nuts is she rushed us out, our receipt came the same time our food came. Parking lot is horrible. Bathrooms are disgusting. Obviously I’d come back here, it’s a Denny’s, they’ve got good food, cheap, and convenient. Just don’t expect good service, double check your bill every time, and avoid using their restrooms.

So if the food burns through the container I think you should change something. I can’t be the only person to have noticed this. Note there’s missing styrofoam and yup that means I ate it. As legal point if I was Corporation I’d test something like this and hold regular testing so vendors can’t degrade quality and put my customers at risk.

I was in the area, I wasn’t starving but I needed a little something. I saw Denny’s across the street so I headed on over. It was about 5:30 p.m. when I entered and there were only a few people in the restaurant. I was brought to a table and I started going over the menu. When the server came by I ordered the half order of Zesty Nachos which consists of Tortilla Chips Topped with Cheese Sauce, Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Seasoned Ground Beef, Pico de Gallo, and Sour Cream. I also ordered a Blackberry Orange Twist which is one of their specialty soft drinks that consists of Blackberry and Orange Flavor mixed with Sprite. The server soon returned with my beverage and it was pretty good, soon after she brought my nachos and they were good too. When the server came back to check on things and ask if the was anything I needed I ordered another of their specialty soft drinks, this time I picked the Desert Blush which has the flavors of Strawberries and Prickly Pear mixed with Sprite. The Desert Blush was very good and refreshing. The dining room looked clean and the service was good. My little snack hit the spot!
