I found her name on the Cigna website where it clearly states she takes their HMO LocalPlus OAPOAPCPPO. I called to make an appointment and when I said I have Cigna she said she didn’t take Cigna and hung up! How incredibly rude! She couldn’t wait another 15 seconds for me to just tell her where I had seen her name so she could remove the listing or at least just say goodbye?

Compassionate person and eager to help. However, Dr Diener, Psy.D. wasn’t able to fulfill the request of once a week therapy as I clearly asked for before meeting with her for my son. After the appointment was set, she called me several times once even canceling the appointment because of insurance issues of meeting a deductible, which was no problem and the insurance company was late on processing paperwork. She met with my son a few times(after my insurance company told her again after I explained that she was in network and deductibles had been met). My son really liked her. But because she changed the appointment times and couldn’t find a time for an appointment, and things seemed to become bigger than what she could handle, she wrote me an email saying she no longer wishes to work with my son because she can not meet with him twice a week. So I think she doesn’t listen well to the parents, although her compassion is genuine. Her eagerness to get a new client and unusual vigor to get the financials worked out when there was actually no problem, made it awkward and extra drama that we didn’t need. Parking will cost about $ 4 to park in the garage. I’ve had many counselors with my three sons, and with marriage therapy so I understand how deductibles, co-pays and everything works. This was unfortunate because now my son has to start with another therapist.
