This bar is awesome! Not only does it have an awesome ambiance, dance floor, and beer pong tables… but the drinks are delicious and strong! Came here a few times with friends and came for a birthday… all times ending with a great overall experience. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to have a good time.

What a joke! OKAY so lets say maybe 3yrs ago this place was decent. Back when it was actually a college bar. Now its so lame and over hyped don’t even bother. Unless you’re looking to get notice by cholo dudes who actually pay the $ 10 cover. Most of the people are annoying and it wreaks of bleach. The smell alone is disgusting! I’ve been here a handful of times most of them about 3 yrs ago and i liked it. I swore this place off when I had gone recently and a fight broke out and security literally sprayed pepper spray all over the room causing everyone to choke! And then they made everyone leave through one of the exits instead of the nearest emergency exits. People were puking from coughing so much it was like a scene from Stand by Me’s pie eating contest. From that night I told everyone how much this place sucked. Fast forward 6 months… So of course you have those friends that just want to try a place again. So even though my little heart said NOTTOGO, I decided to join my group and we went. BIGMISTAKE. After being there for about 30mins and ordering one drink(which took forever) the Fire Department came and shut them down! hahahaha. This place needs to be shut down permanently or get new ownership. This was back in April 2014 that i last stepped foot in this dump and I def will never go back. BIGTHUMBSDOWN!

I thought this place was going to suck but I really liked it. They had a beer pong area a lot of tables some with out chairs. The dj was really good. There’s a really cute bartender she made my drinks all night they were super bomb. Its not that expensive compared to other places I’ve been too. I didn’t like how stupid people spill their drinks and don’t tell anyone workers there cause I almost fell a few times! It did get packed in the little dancing area but that’s how they all get.

Great place, really large and happening for beer games and sports watching. Made it in for happy hour and even though I ordered a bit late for the sliders the bartender still hooks us up. THANKYOU!

I’ve been a student at Csun for some time now… we’re talking 6+ years. I have been coming here off and on for years… this place has never been better. With new management, a new menu, and a new make over… dublins has become the place to hang out after class for me and my crew any day of the week! Pitchers of Lagunitas and tacos all day: D

I absolutely hate this place. I came in on a Friday evening had a get together with friends, opened a tab, and through my short sight I forgot my CreditCard and ID at the bar drove back from home to get it. Arriving a huge line, I just want to close my tab and go home. The Securities demanded me to wait in the long line and show ID, well… its in there! I was tired, cranky and told them I’m not moving to no line because I have no intention of staying here. The bouncers were rude, but after a while they they let me in on the condition I return immediately(they can count on that!), I closed my tab and left the unfriendly bartender an unfriendly tip, who earlier they seemed monotone and lifeless. The place was chaos, crowded, rundown, food/drinks terrible and ghetto. Never returning especially how they treat paying customers, I don’t get how people wait in line for this place hostile staff and environment. **So glad I pulled my friend who used to work here as a bartender outta here into a better place***

Always passed this place up because I was horrified when it was a Chinese restaurant. Korean friend brought me to China Star when I was a kid, and picked out a cute little fish, and chopped its head off in front of us! NOOOO Anyway, the guys working here are SO chill! On top of the drinks we bought, we made a random drink too! It’s great, ask for the Carmela! Pretty comfy bar, they have booths, the bar, and tables. There isn’t a place to put your feet at the bar, your legs just hang. I mentioned they should get cardboard boxes. We’ll see. Also, they have freaking pizza fries! DUHGO

This place is pretty cool for Northridge. Probably the best place in Northridge. It is a little ghetto but fun. Good music and best to go after 10:30pm…otherwise it is deAd! Fun to get drinks and dance late night!!!

Tried to have a good time and got a pat down… I said, «i feel like im at LAX»… and the security guy said, «I’ve been in the penitentiary for 10 years and i just got out…» I dont judge anyone but i also dont need to know that information. Got in and bartender does not know how to make an Old Fashion… Bottom line, this place is HORRIBLE!!! AVOID!!!

cool bar but pretty empty on a stormy Friday night. crowd seemed late twenties/thirties. bartender mixed me an AQUACHILL and a JUNEBUG. both tasted a little mediciney but gave a great buzz. yes, i’m a lightweight, but i know a strong drink when i taste one! . clean and contemporary. Kris(sp?) was an awesome second host and great magician. very amusing. happy Unilocaling and here’s to tasting life! :)

Iv been to this place a few times now but never again, the one star is for the bar staff, friendly and welcoming(good job guys). However the major let down is the thugs on the door with a major power trip. Im from the UK and been visiting bars and nightclubs from the age of 18(The legal age there), I’m also now in my 30’s and so not a child, so why do these ogres insist on treating the patrons as such? Yes there will be those that cause fights, but this shouldn’t be taken out on every customer that is coming in to have a good night. I am former Military and now work as a bodyguard in Iraq, iv also had my fare share of door work so I totally understand the name of the game and can honestly say, these unfriendly, unwelcoming creatures on their little power trip are as unprofessional as it gets. Dubliners, please do yourselves a favour, find a reputable company that provides door staff, vet them yourselves when they are sent to your place of business and give daily briefings to the door staff on the manner in which you wish them to conduct themselves to YOUR customers, don’t leave it in the hands of wannabe cops. If you still need help, I can source and train these people myself in order for a more enjoyable night for all. Until then, I won’t be coming in again.

A few space parking around 5pm, but sadly no one shows up until 11pm. I didn’t see much. Just tvs, bar and tables/chairs. I thought there’d be a ping pong table/pool table. Stayed there till midnight — not alot of people. Came here with friends. Did not enjoy my stay, I guess it wasn’t my scene.

It could have been the timing but I had a great time here. Hottest day of the year and we walked in for something cool to relax with. It was probably 7 or 8 so the bar was mostly deserted. This is a pretty big bar, I thought. From the outside we had imagined it to be a tiny place, especially since it was in a strip mall. They had Dart machines, 3 or 4 beer pong tables, a large lounging area and tables area. It looked like they could accommodate a lot of people. They had a pretty good selection of draft beers, domestic, imports and specialty drafts. Bartender mentioned $ 15 for the pitcher but credit card said they charged $ 17. Strange. For the next hour or so we enjoyed the place to ourselves. Drinking, laughing, eventually playing Beer pong. More people began to stumble in. More bouncers or security began to show up. I suppose the later it got, the crowd got bigger. Overall a fun bar to be at. I think they must be trying to keep security as a big thing because there was a sign posted saying no shorts, no hats or gang attire. We got in pretty easy but we came in early at 8pm with shorts. Pool fellows coming after 10pm were getting trouble.

Been here twice now. CSUN bar to the max! I don’t see anything special about this bar. I spent St Patrick’s night there and I couldn’t be any happier that we got a beer pong table and played all night because if it wasn’t for that beer pong table my night would have been so boring. The music was OK. A mix of old and new hip hop. Merengue and salsa? The drinks are not strong and their system was down and they were only taking cash. I wouldn’t say I would never come back because if any of my friends wanted to go I would probably go back.

If you have to have security guards giving pat downs outside chances are this is a place where bitch ass dude come to get some liquid courage & try to start shit. I’ve never seen that here but that just gives off a lame ass vibe. Besides the pat downs having random days with cover charges to get into a pub is hella weak. I’m not sure how this place is a pub when part of the inside looks like a sports bar & the other part looks like a lounge/dance club. This spot is right near csun so it’s pretty much a college spot which isn’t bad but getting the magic wand from rent a cops at a spot in the valley… I’ll pass bro, there’s too much saw dust on the floor for me to enjoy a game of beer long anyway.

As I made my way into this little hole in the wall(- I really had no idea this place even existed) I was wondering if this was going to be an awesome find, or a terrible experience. –First of all, the 2 bouncers outside make it a bit intimidating. Especially when they’re extremely sarcastic. I, myself am very sarcastic an can take a joke, or stand up for myself so I made it a point that I didn’t appreciate their sarcasm. Whatever, I won’t get into it but let’s just say I pulled one of them aside and told him he was an a-hole & he apologized. Told me he was just bored. Now let’s skip to the inside part of this location: The inside is pretty big, actually. They have plenty of seating. They have seating all along the walls(booths) by the DJ, some tables by the ”dance floor”, and they even have recliners on the other side of the venue. The bar has a good selection of beers + of course all the mixed drinks you can come up with. I liked that they have 3 tables for beer-pong :). We played a round for $ 15.00. It’s basically a pitcher & cups. The music is also very cool. I liked it a lot. Why the 3 stars? I guess I didn’t quite love it, and I didn’t quite hate it either. I think 3 stars are ” A-OK”.

Don’t get me wrong, I always leave Dublin’s happily drunk and in high spirits, but that’s just because I’m with good company and have alcohol in my system, not because of the bar itself. Dublin’s seems to me to be very confused. It’s not sure if it wants to be a sports bar, a nightclub, or a frat house. I love all three of those party environments, but when they’re all smushed together and forced to be friends it makes for an odd dynamic. There’s a group of people dancing(with obligatory male wallflowers) in the main room, beer pong tables set up off to the right, and a couple tables and seating around the bar on the left. The music is unbearably loud. My friends and I deliberately chose a table in the front corner of the bar to be as far from the speakers as possible. I had to literally scream to make myself heard to friends sitting across the table, which resulted in a headache and raspy voice. No fun. It seems like they turned down the volume a couple notches by the time the night was over though, probably because some people closer to the speakers were rendered temporarily deaf. Drink prices are pretty average. It might just be me but I suspect their drinks are slightly diluted. They seemed to be easier to take than normal, and I’m pretty sure if they were at full potency I wouldn’t have been able to take as many shots as I did. Or maybe I’m just crazy. All in all, being located in the valley with limited options, this place isn’t teeeerrible. I would probably come back just because it’s located so close to my house. I’ll just remember to bring earplugs next time.

Eww. and ewww some more. When I think of a place called Dublin’s Irish Bar, I think it’s a pub, right? But only to show up on a Saturday night and it was a club… the kind of club that we had to get patted down and my purse searched, but I’m always let’s check it out first I’m not going to let the people smoking outside influence what may be inside. Once inside I noticed it was clearly 2 sets of people. The first set where a bunch of college kids playing beer bong, as you merge to the back of the bar closer to the dance floor it was a bunch of cholo looking guys just holding up the wall, not even talking to any girls or even having a drink. Just holding up the wall. We stayed for 2 drinks that rang up to $ 14.00 and we left, NEVER to return again.
