59th and Lex

I love the food and service at 59^th and Lex Café inside Bloomingdales in Sherman Oaks Westfield Mall. I was appalled to receive packets of mustard at such a nice café for my $ 15 burger. I don’t like squeezing mustard out of packets as it gets very messy. Packets are for fast food or ball games. They have Grey Poupon and catsup in bottles but not regular mustard. Is regular mustard a «lower class condiment»? They need to step it up with the mustard. Also, the menu does not offer an egg white or whole egg omelet which would be ordered by so many customers. It’s full of protein and can have vegetables and cheese added.

The salmon Niçoise salad is good.
59^th and Lex is located inside the Bloomingdales in the Westfield Sherman Oaks. I have been to 59^th and Lex at least 5 times, however not one of my previous check-​ins are showing anymore. I’m not quite sure why that is because I know I they were there before.
Yes, the Westfield Sherman Oaks has other restaurants like 9021 Phở on the first floor of the mall or their Food Park on the second floor. 59^th and Lex is on the third floor right when you get off the escalator inside Bloomies.
They have lots of salads, sandwiches, and pasta dishes. They’ll also serve you a basket a bread and butter if you would like. The service is usually pretty good too.
I’m still wondering where the all my check-​ins went. C’est la vie.

We eat here regularly, as it is convenient, and there are several menu items that my wife and I love. The staff is awesome. Tuesday night is pasta night!

My husband and I go to this restaurant weekly and love it! Our best server is Tammy but all the servers are terrific. Their poached salmon salad is the best I’ve ever tasted, all their fish dishes are great, salads are big enough for 2and each week they offer dinner specials. Yogurt swirl is old school delish. Use your blooms card and get free meals!

Over cooked and dried out, that is the best way to describe this place. Oh I left off dirty, one of the servers cleared off a dirty table by wiping the crumbs on the floor and then kicking them under the booth. Sorry but I expect more from Bloomingdales. The only positive was that our server comped my husbands burger. He was nice, but we will never be back.

The best seat in the house is the bar, where you can seated quickley and get what you need in a snap. Sean holds down the fort and is the nicest server in the restaurant.
I recommend almost everything on the menu-​especially the fourty carats frozen yogurt-​with toppings galore.
My topping of choice-​almonds and honey on plain frozen yogurt. It’s the best Anywhere!!! I love and I’m addicted.
The mall food court is aweful so save yourself some time and go to Bloomingdales 59^th and Lex restaurant, located on the third floor. If there is a line, be patient, it’s totally worth it.
If you see Sean, stop and say hi!!! He’s the nicest.
