I have been a long time customer of Top Thai and been pretty satisfied up to this point. Unfortunately, I ordered Roti today and helped myself to a slice of the sweet dish. Immediately realized that it tasted funny, I looked closely at what was on top of the condensed milk. Upon closer inspection, the roti that was supposed to have sugar sprinkled on top was in fact sprinkled with MSG. I am so disappointed. I’m sure it was a mistake but really? MSG? I ordered that dessert for my 3 year old. I am so thankful I took the first bite. Sadly, no more Top Thai for me… ever.

I ordered online for delivery. Very quick delivery and the food was delicious! The shrimp fried rice was very freshly cooked and the shrimp was huge! My friend ordered the combination fries rice. His was not as meaty! Not sure why not. I would expect it to have had a huge amount with three different meats. The staff was very kind as well. I will order more soon!

They said 45 minutes for delivery and it came in 20 minutes aka I love them. They always have delicious plump tender shrimp. Got it in the pad Thai which is always perfectly cooked and has such great flavor. As well as the tom yum shrimp soup. It had a really good kick of spice tonight that really complimented the sweetness of the shrimp. Looooved it. So happy as always. Crab and cream cheese wontons were crispy and so tasty. Love me some Thai food any and allll the time!

I confirm other reviews posted that they are skimping on amount food you get especially for take out. I have been customer for 15+ years. Now with new ownership it is going downhill. It is over priced for what you get. Also the online menu is incorrect with items no longer being served. I will be taking my business to Elephant Thai which has much better ambiance and better food and is pretty much just around the corner.

I have eaten here regularly and have generally liked the food, as did my kids. However, I ordered a shrimp fried rice for my 2 year old, and later discovered a broken piece of glass at the bottom of his food. It was followed by days of diarrhea and stomach issues. I think its best to avoid this place. I spoke with owner who denied everything and offered to refund me for the food. Regardless I shall not return to avoid problems like this to occur again.

The chicken fried rice is delicious! The pad Thai and thai tea with boba is also really good. And the best part is they deliver!

Just had lunch here. I thought it had a good ambience. The people are nice and quick to your service. My husband had the orange chicken and I had the Pad Thai. It came with an option of salad or soup. We both chose salad. I thought the salad was delish but my main entrée was too sweet. And we had asked for medium spicy but was not spicy at all. The Thai tea was tasty but too strong. I hope I can come back and enjoy a meal that is less sweet.

Top Thai used to be great, but it is slipping fast. They are skimping on the key ingredients and serving flavorless food. Btw, lucky elephant and the other thai restaurant in the Vons shopping center have better food and better service.

The food here is very good. Everything I’ve had is very flavorful and the service is fast. I place my order online and it is ready to pick up in 10 – 15 minutes. It is the best Thai food in San Dimas! I highly recommend.

Great customer service! I ordered delivery a while ago and forgot to order the rice. I called the place back thinking they forgot it and after realizing it was my mistake and I never ordered it I apologized and told the guy to forget it. A few minutes later the guy shows up at my door with rice. :). That’s freaking kick butt service! Thanks a bunch!

Got the Shrimp pad thai lunch special with thai tea and chicken satay apetizer. It was all very good. The lunch special came Tom yum soup. I was worried it would be too spicy, but it had a slightly spicy, sour flavor that I enjoyed. Our appetizer was the satay chicken with a peanut sauce. It was just okay; not bad, but not something I’d order again as it was a bit bland. The thai tea was quite good. Not too sweet and very flavorful. The Shrimp pad thai was great. It started out too sweet, but my friend(he’s half thai) recommended I add some lime and dry red pepper. Squeezed out the whole lime wedge and used a little pepper(I don’t like overly spicy food), and it was perfect. I guess that’s why they bring out a tray of spices, so everyone can enjoy it the way they want it. Staff was polite, friendly, and attentive. Though from her reaction to what was on CNN, I wouldn’t go in there with a «Trump supporter» shirt on. I should mention that my thai friend got the yellow curry and thought it was way too sweet, and did not enjoy it. Again, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and I will be back.

I’ve never actually dined-in here, but gotten to-go on many occasions. They are on eat24 and linked thru here, so it’s been a quick and easy process.(Almost too easy cus anytime I get too lazy to cook or go to the store, I just order out) My only 1 complaint is that their online menu does not have all the options that their dine in menu has. For example, the online menu does not have the«Special Menu» Items listed like Boat noodles. My faves here: TTT Salad– Love the peanut dressing Tom Yum Noodle Soup– Very Flavorful Pad Kee Mao– Love that they use ground chicken. Some may be turned off that the flat rice noodles are all broken up, but that doesn’t bother me because it tastes delicious. My orders are always ready in under 20 min and packaged neatly and securely for the drive home. The parking lot is small here, but i think there is additional parking in the back or on the street.

Decent, but not too impressed. Deep fried wontons stuffed with chicken was more like deep fried nothing. Calamari was nice.

The food was good and the restaurant is cute and clean. However, there’s not a lot of parking and the older man who took our order was rude.

I don’t like when restaurants so obnoxiously declare themselves winners in any way. «Super», «Top», or «Best» simply don’t belong in official names. That said, if they can at least live up to their declarations somewhat, I can forgive. Top Thai doesn’t. It’s more like Somewhere-Near-the-Mid-Bottom-Range Thai Restaurant. Friendly workers, but I thought the food was just meh. And portions were rather sad as well. If you’re at all spoiled by ghetto Thai food in and around LA, Top Thai won’t deliver.

At first we noticed the sign in front said change of ownership. The food was the same at that time. Then I went for some take out couple days later but since I was sick I couldn’t really tell if the food was still the same. I had another 3 visits after that… sadly I have to admit my favorite Thai restaurant in the heart of San Dimas had fallen. They changed the interior, less decoration(which I don’t mind, look more simple and neat). Still very clean and quiet. Nice and cool in summer. Boat noodle soup– the flavor and ingredients were all different. The portion seemed bigger but we did not like it much. Drunken noodle(Phad kee– Mao). The portion was quite huge. The noodle were laying on a big bed of lettuce. I don’t like the fact flat noodles were all stuck together. It was spicy but the flavor itself was kind bland. Yellow curry– way too sweet for my liking. The potato was under-cooked so we took all of the potato off. Eggplant and tofu– bland, lacking a kick. Something is missing. I still love eggplants though. Tom Yum Koong Soup with shrimp– not bad. Also I had tried their lunch special once, the pad see wee was good. The lunch special comes with soup(wonton soup) or salad. Good portion and good price. Price did not seen raised. The manager is still the same but the waiters are different peoples now. Still a decent place and pleasant place to dine in.
