This place is meh okay! My latte smelled like fish, my husband said it was the porcelain cup but I just think he was saying that to me to make me feel better about my drink. Speaking of drinks they also just have canned sodas(uhhh just don’t have soda) I had the Covina panini and it was just okay nothing special. I probably won’t be going back.

Love love LOVE this little café. My husband and I stopped by after a long hike and we were STARVING. I ordered the Covina Panini and he ordered a loaded breakfast bagel. I don’t think we spoke a word to each other the entire time we were eating! It was delicious! The ingredients tasted fresh and I could tell the chicken breast wasn’t frozen prior. We also had the chocolate and cheese tart, and it was amazing. Will definitely return.

I’d write a grand review for this excellent diner but it’s a modest quaint one so I think humbles the aproach. Either way I ordered the Mediterranean turkey sandwich and what I got was spectacular. Juicy, spicy, and flavorful, and this isn’t embelishment but it’s one of the best i’ve ever had, not to mention the pastries are outstanding. Definitely worth five stars.

I’ve been to their other location in Covina numerous times so I thought I’d stop by this morning for a quick bite to eat since Twisted Sage didn’t have any open tables. We ordered the Covina and the Italian paninis. The Covina had a bland taste — boiled chicken with little or no seasoning. The«greens» were cooked and added to the strange taste and not in a good way. Edible; yes. Flavorful; oh hell no! The Italian panini was okay, but the salty roast beef was just too overpowering even with the red onions in the mix. Very disappointing. We both tried the Italian pasta… extremely unremarkable. I honestly thought they were thinking of something cheap they could add as a side dish when I tasted it because that’s exactly how it tasted; cheap. At the other establishment they would check on us and give us refills. This is how many times we were checked on during our visit. Are you ready for it? Okay. Here it is: zero(0). I usually leave a tip everywhere I go, even if it’s a dollar in the jar up front, but not today. The pics look better than the taste… Oh no! My tastebuds are crying.

Food: 4⁄10 Atmosphere: 8.5÷10 My boyfriend and I went to this place on a Sunday morning. I was partially excited because I wanted something homey and when I saw the café I thought it was perfect. The decorations, its location, the people, the interior, all of it was wonderful and really inviting and warm. I ordered pancakes with an iced caramel latte. My boyfriend ordered the pear(something.?) sandwich and an iced tea. The prices seemed fair. I would not say they are exactly inexpensive but they are definitely not pricey. My boyfriend said his sandwich was very good. It had a tad bit too much mustard for a general audience but other than that it was perfect. It may seen that perhaps I have bad luck with what I order. The pancakes had this dish water taste to it for the first few moments and lingered after each bite. They were fluffy and everything I expected when I order pancakes so it was extremely disappointing that the flavor was off. In addition to that, my latte tasted a lot like burnt coffee. I am willing to give this place another try, perhaps on a different day. But overall, I am currently not too impressed and wished that I had a better experience. I really wanted to love this place.

They have the best attitude and the strawberry muffins are absolutely perfect(too bad they are seasonal). I also love the coffee here especially during finals. I don’t even like coffee but I drink a large at this place It is also a good place to study if you live local.

Good service. Sandwiches are ok, little expensive for a café. Went On a Saturday so there were plenty of tables to choose from. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table.

I love the healthy feeling of eating an extremely fresh veggie sandwich from Sweet Savory. It is a quaint breakfast, pastry and sandwich shop in downtown San Dimas. I have been eating here for years, and the quality and freshness of the food doesn’t disappoint. There are three distinct areas where you can eat… outside, in the café itself, and in an inner courtyard.

Nice place. Love the food but little pricy and they close too early at 4pm for people like me that like a walk n the evening with a coffee u gotta skip to next coffee shop or go early. My fav stuffed French toast and coffee.

Met a friend here for lunch. Nice selection of sandwiches and salads. There was just one person manning the counter. The store front didn’t have AC on and it was 100, that isn’t a buzz kill but just knowing this will be a deciding factor for the future. My friend and I spent a long while catching up and were offered refills on our drinks twice I think. Yet as he was shutting down I had to remind him about my dessert, he put it in a bag so I took that as a message we should take it to go. I will always choose a small business over any chain and this place is fine for lunch and dessert.

This place is super cute and with a great menu. If you’re a breakfast lover, there is something for everyone. The dining area is small, but the back patio on a nice day would be the way to go. We ordered the breakfast pasta(with chorizo and cheese!), a kids’ pancake combo, and a lox bagel sandwich with a single fluffy pancake on the side. Coffee is self-serve and bottomless, French vanilla or medium roast. Breakfast for 2 adults and a child ended up being around $ 40, which was a little pricey, but I’m glad we got to try this place. The food was delicious. Perfect fluffy pancakes, and generous salmon/chorizo(not together, ew). The cashier/server was super sweet and personable. They have a large display case of baked goods, a whole menu section of breakfast sandwiches and griddle dishes, and lunch selections too. Bummer is that they close really early, and the prices are a little too high to come here regularly. But with the friendly service, food, coffee, and charming atmosphere, we will be back!

3 stars because the food is good but the prices are terrible. I order from this place from time to time because it’s close to work, but 12 dollars for a turkey sand which 5 carrot sticks and a can of coke? The sand which is the size of my Hand. Not to Mention every time I try to make an order they never have certain ingredients in stock … Do yall at sweet and savory go through inventory and check to see what you need to stock up on?

I went here before work hoping to find something tasty, but I was highly disappointed. I looked at the desert selection and I was like«whattt there’s barely anything». Then I decided might as well get something and got the strawberry brownie, which was gross. The brownie texture was cakey and dry, also the strawberry that supposedly in there was only a thin layer of nasty jam. Then I ordered a blended mocha to give them another chance, which disappointed me even further. The mocha had so much ice that it tasted like he blended a teaspoon of milk with 3 cups of ice and a spoon of mocha powder. These were not even worth a penny and I will not be coming back. Plus, the guy that helped me looked like he didn’t want to be there or he was on drugs so he was not very friendly.
