At first I was liking this Bingo place better than the one in Diamond Bar… but that was before I discovered they don’t play near as many flashboard/special games. Then, the caller insists that if HE doesn’t hear you call bingo then he’s not going to recognize it! So… you’re 89 years old and you gotta scream your lungs out and jump on the table? I think it’s unreasonable that this caller insist that HE be the one hearing bingo. Considering the fan that is blowing the bingo balls isn’t silent I hope that maybe the people that run this game think about letting the runners confirm that a bingo was called. On this night a young man in the corner won and he called bingo before the next number was called… but because the bingo caller claimed he didn’t hear them(and we were sitting not far from the caller and WE heard the man call bingo!) the young man didn’t win. It was unfair to watch and I felt bad for the dude. Then my husband got a bit of an attitude from a female worker here. This one particular older female worker seemed to have taken a dislike to my honey and well… we won’t be back. Not just because of the ‘tude…anyone can have a bad day. I just didn’t like that there were hardly ANY flashboard games and I was confused on the Double Action game because the young man caller didn’t explain it and the sheet that they have didn’t explain it either. I also want to say that the mom and daughter that work here are very nice. All in all I wasn’t too impressed. They have coffee and ice in the bingo play area but apparently the water and food is in another area. You get 3 — 6 minute breaks and twice I had to go back to my seat before using the restroom. It made for an uncomfortable night… nothing to eat and not being able to pee really sucked. I plan on going back the Diamond Bar Bingo place next time I do this. It has a lower class of players but there’s tons of games and I like that the food area is right there and you can get coffee or water & ice all in the same spot.
