Just Pools and Spas Service and Repair

My husband and I just bought a house with a pool a few months ago and we decided to continue using the pool guy that the previous owner was using. My husband explained to him that our spa wasn’t getting warm and the light in our pool wasn’t working. He said it would cost over $ 500 to fix the heater and we would need to drain our pool below the light in order for him to change it. I called Just Pools and Spas for a second opinion and Johnny came to my house. He was AMAZING! Nothing needs to be replaced or fixed, for some reason the power was turned off to our heater and light. Johnny turned everything on and explained to us how to use everything; our pool guy didn’t show us how to use anything. We let our pool guy go today and are now going to use Just Pools and Spas.

Johnny was my pool saver!!! My pool went From cloudy and green to crystal clear and sparkling in less than 24 hours. Customer service was great and he followed through with his word. He first saw my pool Friday, said he’d return to Monday to make sure things were going to plan, and now he will be back Wednesday for the weekly pool service. I’d definitely recommend Johnny to service anyone’s pool!
My pool was very cloudy and green. We recently had our pool built and filled in March, our previous person that serviced our pool couldn’t keep up with the maintenance, seeing that this was the 3^rd time our pool turned green. Our original pool guy came out on Thursday (left our pool green and said hed be back Monday to check it). Friday came and my daughter wanted to get in the pool but the pool was very green and cloudy. I called Johnny, not only did he come out the same day, but in less than 24 hours my pool was crystal clear!

I was referred to Just pool and Spas by my sister. I met with the owner Johnny, He was very professional and informative. Our filter needed to be replaced, he was out the next day and did a great job. No more leaks… our pool is now ready for the Summer. I will definitely refer him to my friends and family and call him again if we have any future problems with our pool.

We recently bought our house and when we moved in the pool was green :(. When we looked at the house and started escrow the pool looked blue and beautiful. We were very disappointed to move into our new house to discover that the clean beautiful pool was now green and looked horrible. We called Johnny with Just Pools and Spas and he can over with in a few hours to look at our pool. He explained how our water turned green and assured us that he could get it back to that beautiful blue pool that we once seen. In just three days, our pool looked wonderful and our kids were able to enjoy it. We hired Johnny to maintain our pool on a weekly basis. His clear communication and knowledge of his job is exactly what we need. I would definitely recommend him to all of our friends and family.

These guys are my miracle workers! Came through in a SERIOUS jam. They went over and beyond. Green to clean in no time! Be wary of this firm! They have employees and an owner with extremely bad attitudes. Two of their employees in a company truck and wearing company t-​shirts blocked a disabled parking space in front of a store. They parked half in the space and half in the blue striped area next to the space. I am disabled and could not park in the disabled space. These employees were not disabled (no placard or disabled plate) and parked there out of convenience for themselves as they went into a 7 – 11. When I told them that they were parked illegally and I could not park in the disabled space — they laughed at me! I then notified the owner of Just Pools and Spas, Johnnie Hernandez. I even presented pictures of the company truck parked illegally. He ignored me — not even an apology! Avoid this company. They don’t care about people at all!

Best pool guy in Southern California! You can’t go wrong with him. Great prices and really knows his stuff. My pool was literally green. It looked like I was celebrating St. Patricks day in the month of May. He gave us options and then drained and acid washed it (a lot of algae stains) for a really affordable price. He did such an amazing job we decided to keep him as a regular pool guy. Pool is looking amazing now and all thanks to Just Pools and Spas!

I have had a pool in Sierra Madre since 1986. I let my past pool guy go because I had to call way too often to get the pool looking good. I have been using Just Pools and Spas for just over a year, and over that time period they have kept my pool and new jacuzzi sparkling clean! In addition, their monthly charge includes chemicals, which my former pool guy charged extra for.
They show up faithfully, are responsive and easy to work with, my dogs like them, and they recently fixed a heater problem at a very reasonable price. I only wish I had hired them years ago.

Flakey, Flakey, FLAKEY! Do not count on this guy to clean your pool. Very unreliable. Couldn’t show up on the same day four weeks in a row.

When we first bought our house, our pool had algea, I called Bright Eye Pool and they came the same day. They cleaned it up real nice and sparkling. They are very reliable, knowledgable and affordable. We’ve been using their services for a year now, I would highly recommend them.
