Went to a charity bowling event here for @SCIL and had loads of fun. Management was accommodating to our needs and we had the pizza from the snack bar. Very greasy but decent enough considering where you are. They also have a full bar available well drinks and wine and beer. Cost about what you would expect. Not too many small bowling alleys left anymore that are willing to work with small groups. This one is.

Pretty standard bowling place, a little less crowded than most places so that’s enjoyable and they have decent priced snacks and drinks. I live pretty close and it’s a spot me and friends go to when we are bored since we always have a good time

I haven’t been for a long time. Then place clean and the bar was redone. I ordered some wings to start us off, and went back to order dinner and they closed the kitchen without telling us. I came here with my kids at 7pm for dinner and fun and the kitchen was closed before 8. Not cool!

This is my favorite bowling place around. It’s never too busy — my friends and I can always get a lane. I usually just ask them for what would be cheapest to play for about two hours. If you have four there’s some deal. The bar has pitchers of beer which is really my only focus for drinks while bowling. The short order place at the end can take forever because they usually only have two people working. The food is okay. Standard fare. The bowling is bowling. It can be hard to find a low-weighted ball. They have bumper gates if you want. And a stand to help kids/others who may need it to roll the ball. The arcade is fun. I’ll grant you, I was tipsy when I was playing and my standards for arcades are pretty low because I like the basics like pin ball and ski ball. Overall, I’d recommend for sure!

The bowling part of chaparal lanes is great! I would not recommend going to the bar, there is lousy service with rude bartenders. It took me 15 minutes of standing around to finally get served. The sad part is it wasnt even busy. This place needs bar rescue(lol). If you guys are looking for a fun bar to hang out this is not the place!

My friend and I went about two hours before closing a couple months back and we really had a great time. It was a Wednesday so there were people there mainly bowling but we were at the bar and had a couple drinks. The juke box was a little tricky to figure out but the atmosphere was great and the bartender was awesome. I didn’t catch her name but she’s probably in her 30’s black hair, I’m 5feet tall and she seemed about my height. I just want her to know she’s a pleasure to be around and her mixed drink suggestion was so delicious!!!

I like their karaōke nights on Friday and Saturday nights. Their sandwiches and pizza are good but the chicken wings are smaller than McDonald’s chicken McNuggets and cost as much as the pizza.

FOOD review only(on a Sunday afternoon): This location has terrible food. I ordered nachos with«ground» beef, and was served carne asada beef. Chips were stale, and the«10 min wait» turned into a 30 min wait. Beer choices(on draught) were decent. FYI– Pitcher of IPA was $ 17 on a Sunday.

The service here is still great. Word of advice: if you want to go Cosmic Bowling on a Friday night arrive before 930PMLOL. My wife and I walked in for cosmic bowling a little bit after 10PM and«forget about it». We ended up going somewhere else, the line was just too long. The food is good, service spectacular.

I dont know what has happened to this bowling alley. The snack bar food had improved but now it sucks again not to mention the prices. They went from serving real good natural cut fries to Orida. Gaaaaross! The wings used to be big and meaty now they are all dry n sucked up. The beer prices have inflated as well as if mark up was not enough. The staff… rude! They used to be so nice here. I only have two stars because the lanes are clean thats it.

The bowling alley is open, but it seems to not be running efficiently. Their rental shoes are pretty worn and need to be replaced in my opinion. I went through two pairs of shoes with the same problem, the heel was worn and wasn’t allowing me to slide. I didn’t want to go back and ask for another pair, but I experienced the same problem with both pairs of shoes. The balls are pretty old as well and need to be replaed. There were a lot of chips in the balls and they aren’t smooth anymore. It drastically affects how the ball moves and spins and made for an interesting night of bowling for myself. There were several times that we had issues with our balls getting stuck and not returning to us which ruined the flow of our game. The one cool thing that I do like is that they have a radar gun that clocks the speed of your ball and not many bowling alleys I have been to have that. These are problems that I experienced during my visit and if they are appropriately addressed, they will get return business from me. But because of my poor experience at these lanes, I will have to hold off from bowling here.

I’ve been coming here pretty much all of my life. I actually have never been to another bowling alley. I don’t bowl much maybe every 6 months or so. It’s pretty fun. I only like cosmic bowling. Without the lights and the music it’s pretty dull. They play profane music and play it REALLY loud so I don’t encourage children or elderly people to go. Make sure you know their hours and specials. They will not negotiate at ALL. Unfortunately I’ve had bad experiences. Many good ones to balance it out. The last time I went with my ex boyfriend we won the jackpot and had thousands of tickets. I legit didn’t want anything but like two things. I was gonna have her just throw away the rest. But she gave me a huge attitude. About not wanting to check or help because the machine maxed out. So I gave a group of kids all my tickets and they went ham on the toys. That’s what she gets for being impatient. One time in the bar area they charged my friend for a bottle of wine and she just got the glass. They tried to force her to take the bottle and say they can’t refund. No. We fought for 30 minutes to get the refund. But overall not bad. At least the bowling part. The bar and game section are mediocre at best.

I didn’t bowl, this is only on the bar/lounge. Big place, lots of space to bring a large group. Big bar, nicely kept, pool tables, karaōke, darts, etc. lots of beers to choose from. I didn’t try the mix drinks. Small selection of appetizers, but the nachos were great! Plenty of flat screens to watch your favorite team play. Good atmosphere and crowd. A shout out to my bartender, Lorraine for making my first visit pleasant. Thanks for taking care of me! I’m definitely going again

I have been bowling at this establishment with my family since it opened. I am also a league secretary of the Sunday night league. I can tell you we have NEVER had any issues with league accounting. Whenever there is an issue the staff always works with me to figure out where on the paperwork the problem is. But our paperwork matches since they take in the money and I double check all paperwork weekly. It is still the responsibility of the league secretary to keep the paperwork of the league. So when I read another league post that the house is a thief it is disturbing. I have known them for years and I have NEVER seen them do anything like that.

This place is super chill! If you don’t like the crowd and prefer someplace more open this is definitely the place! The bar area is huge! You can play pool and darts for cheap! There’s a bowling alley too that is pretty big as well! Drinks are pretty affordable! I definitely recommend this spot for a a group of friends who want a chill place to hang without the ridiculous crowd or wait. The bartenders are very sweet as well!

Growing up I visited Chaparral Lanes many times. I recently went with a couple friends on a Saturday night. We took advantage of the $ 12/person unlimited bowling for two hours. This included shoes as well. I arrived about 15 minutes after everyone else, so they had five people on their lane. Because the woman behind the counter said six would be too crowded and we’d never get to bowl as much, she gave us the connecting lane as well for nothing extra. So then we had three people on a lane. Signs I saw later said it was a four person per lane for the special but maybe because the other lanes just weren’t full yet. We decided to have two games go simultaneously instead of 3 vs. 3. They were almost done playing one game on the first lane before I arrived. After I got there we probably played two and a half games on each lane when the time ran out. We didn’t order any food or drinks on this particular trip, but I can tell you from past experience the food is typical unhealthy, and pretty delicious, bowling alley food. We had multiple problems with our lanes but after altering a worker they were resolved very quickly. The TVs are a nice touch so we could watch the dodger game while playing.

I’m not a bowler, myself, but I visited Chaparral Lanes this past weekend to attend a Pinball Tournament so I had the opportunity to check the place out, since I was there for TWELVEHOURS! They have a TON of bowling lanes and they have a really great arcade. One thing I thought was pretty amazing was the huge bar. I guess they have live music and Karaōke there, so it makes sense, but they also had a good line up of beers! I wasn’t super excited by the snackbar, though. it’s pretty much hot dogs, wings, or pizza, well, or nachos. The husband got boneless wings and they were super tiny so glad he got the large size. He said they tasted ok. I had a hot dog and it was not that great of a hot dog. We decided to go out for burgers when dinner rolled around. Also, the ladies room had toilets that looked like they came straight out of a kndergarten room! OHMYGOSH, TIIIIIIIINY! And, they ran out of paper towels in the bathroom, I reported it, and an hour later they were STILL out! But, overall, it seems like a great place to go bowling or have a party. It has a fun ambiance. We had a little room off of where the arcade was set aside for our tournament and it was great compared to the last place we had a tournament of that size. Check it out.
