OK here is the story, it happend on feb 18. after speaking with this office regarding my mom implant nut being loose, and explaining to them in detail what type and what exactly i need them to do, they schedule a time for us to go there and said we will take care of it and we have the tools. after being seen by the nurse and taking like 10 x-rays doctor came and said she will not look at x rays because its not her field of expertise. Being surprise by her act«I asked why did you order the x rays if your not qualify to look at them? she did not respond. thats when i realise its a scam they wanted us there so they can charge the insurance a fee for the x rays. also she did not wanted to provide me the xrays and just said go to different doctor. the way I saw it was she wanted to charge the insurance for the x rays, and making few xtra bucks out of my mom’s health problem. this was a case of obvious fraud. I am currently looking into filling a formal complain with agencies responsible for overseeing the dentists work. I hope no one else had to go through what i went through.

I’ve moved up to the Bay Area, but continue to go to Dr. Yen when I’m back down in San Diego visiting. Okay — I don’t love going to the dentist — but Dr. Yen is very gentle and kind. She’s careful to explain what’s needed, and also what shes’ doing while she’s working. My last visit was for a crown(yeah.bummer.); it went very smoothly with no problems. Dr. Yen was very thorough about the fitting; I’m not sure if that’s the correct term, but the high points on the tooth have to match up properly with the tooth above. Since I don’t exactly live nearby anymore, it’s been important to know that the work will be perfectly.
