Literally waited at the register for 5 min. While an associate sat 3 feet away on his break… and about 4 people hanging out by the grills. All ignoring a customer. First and last time at your establishment.

Turkey buffalo w/hummus and avocado was great. Had to be patient due to incorrect order the first time but they took good care of me afterwards and they gave me a free drink. Glad i was not in a rush. Wont be going back because if they forget an order that is written down they probably forget to wash there hands.

Here in Carmel Valley we don’t have a lot of choices for good sandwiches. While I pray weekly that Grab & Go will open something north of the merge, I suck it up & go to Which Which. Which, isn’t to say that this place is bad(look up, I gave it 3 stars) & I find myself here a lot. The sandwiches are good enough — I mean, it’s hard to mess them up when you check off all the ingredients on your bag/order. Everything is to your liking — except sometimes they put too much mustard on it and since they took off the chips as sandwich topping I’m sometimes not feeling going in at all(seriously, I was on the verge of 4 stars and then I remembered how upset I am still about taking the chips away). If I was to have a main problem, it’s that they are kind of slow. I walk into an empty restaurant and it still takes forever for my sandwich. What gives?

I used to work nearby and came here with coworkers regularly. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Overall the food is very good for a fast food sandwich place – much better, though slightly more expensive, than Quizznos or Subway. Which Wich has a rewards program that encourages repeat visits by making rewards frequent and easy to earn, and with occasional coupons and free food. People make mistakes and I have been the recipient of a few mistakes over the course of the several years this restaurant has been at this location, but the management is always keen on taking care of any issues if they are raised.

The sandwiches are good, but are pricey. All the sandwiches are customized for each customer which I like. I come here as a treat. Also don’t forget to get a stamp card before you leave. This location can get very busy during lunch time.

The first time I came here was great. I thoroughly enjoyed my stuffed sandwich and it was a great time. It was so great that I ranted about it to my friends and brought them all here. Then everything became a great disappointment. Tonight I came here about 15 minutes before closing with a few of my friends, so once we received our food and sat down to eat, a worker said, «Uh were closing in five minutes so…» Okay. Then we received DRY sandwiches where some of the ingredients we requested were absolutely missing. My friend paid $ 1 to add avocado and it wasn’t there. They forgot cucumbers on another sandwich. It also seems like they had completely forgotten to put sauce on my sandwich because the pulled pork was insanely dry. To be honest, how hard can this possibly be? To make a sandwich here, you literally read down the list of marked items that the customer wants and then place the items between the bread. How they messed up on ¾ of my group’s sandwiches is just sad. Yes I understand that the workers here are all high schoolers who do not care but maybe this place should hire people who care just the SLIGHTESTBIT about service. After all, this is an interactive restaurant. — +1 star because I loved it my first time here. — +0.5 star because I did come in fifteen minutes before closing and I can say that the staff tried.

Love this place because you can personalize your sandwich anyway you like. I made a weird combo such as salami and pineapples. Surprisingly it turned out pretty good! Downside is that expect to spend about $ 10 for a sandwich.

Typical sub shop solid though, convenient system to order exactly what you want. Service is good here. Can get busy because of proximity to school and just general traffic of a town center.

I would love to have a place like this in NorCal. The sandwiches were good. I like how you mark the bags what you would like to order. The price is decent, you get a good size sandwich for the price. We will be back whenever we are in town again.

A good wich. Despite this place being as busy as the 56 at 8AM, the lines and waiting weren’t too bad. Nick was efficient with the ordering and the sandwich brigade mowed through the order bags on the clothesline. Most importantly, they didn’t screw up my custom order. Can’t say that about the UTC crew.

Which Wich is the perfect take on a sandwich. It’s definitely no Subway, Quizno’s or Togo’s it has it’s own signature flavor and exceeds all the other chains. I find Which Wich to be much fresher than other places. All the ingredients are fresh and healthy, as well as super tasty. I really dig the sandwich combinations, they are different than the normal boring sandwich types. I love the condiment options, there’s literally a million combinations. I really liked the Turkey Club. There’s even an option to make a Bowl! Pretty awesome if you’re wanting to cut out the carbs. I have yet to order online, but there is that easy option too say if you’re office wanted lunch(or dinner!) I went to a picnic party, and Which Wich catered, the sandwich option to cater is a great way to go. Guests seemed very pleased and full! I would absolutely recommend Which Wich over any other sandwich place based on taste and the many options, alone. Not to mention, the price! Can’t wait to try everything on the menu!

First time here, was somewhat excited, since they have a unique ordering system. I see the young worker blending sauces in a blender, about 40oz worth. i pickup my sandwich after it’s done, and there’s oil leaking from the wrapper onto the bag. Not thinking anything of it, i take it home. I open it when i get home, and the sandwich is soaked in oil. The bread is completely drenched in oil, on top of that there’s excess oil everywhere. I will not be going back. Talked to the GM, who was very cooperative, and said he would look into the situation and see if i can get a refund back. He offered a couple free sandwiches if i drove back; i declined that offer.

I’ve written multiple reviews in the past of Which Wich and you can check those out for recommendations. This review is purely based on my most recent experience and they way that Which Wich handled a mistake. I stopped in on a weekday afternoon to grab a sandwich on my way home between jobs. It wasn’t until I got home that I realized that my order was incorrect and while I had the right bag, I did not have the right sandwich. It turns out that the person making the sandwiches had accidentally switched my sandwich with another. Luckily, I only live five minutes away from Which Wich so I drove back over to get the situation corrected. As soon as I walked back in the door with my sandwich in hand, the employees knew exactly what had happened. I guess the intended owner of the corned beef sandwich that I had received had recently returned and was far less than happy about the mix up. As a very calm and happy person, I don’t see the point in berating someone for a simple mistake so I just sat down to wait for my replacement sandwich to be made. While I waited, one of the employees handed me a fully punched card for a free sandwich on my next visit, which was very nice and much appreciated. My new sandwich was ready in just a couple of minutes and everyone was apologetic about the mix-up. While I’ll likely be double checking that I receive the right sandwich in the right bag in the future, I was pleased with the way the store handled the mistake and the sandwiches are way too delicious to hold this blunder against them.

*Which Wich* is a little sandwich shop located in Carmel Valley inside the Del Mar Highlands Town Center. This place is a franchise with twelve other locations in San Diego. –creative ordering system, grab a paper bag, and use your sharpie marker to fill out what you want –wide selection of sandwiches for your taste-buds –customize and make it a coldwich/hotwich –nice staff –amazing flavor with each bite –pricier than other sandwhich places, but worth it My order: Vegetarian Hotwich: «Artichoke Hearts»(Artichoke Hearts, Provolone + Parmesan) blended with«Caprese»(Mozzarella, Pesto + Tomatoes) Super tasty, get your sandwich fix here~ Happy eats! :)

It was superb tho!!! Definitely coming back!!! All of us enjoyed our sandwiches. My son got the Elvis… I got the surf and turf and omg I don’t know what the other family members got but so much variety and customization options!!! Awesome!

Come here for lunch because it’s not too far from the office. I like that you can customize your own order on paper instead of waiting in line to tell someone exactly what you want, but I don’t think their sandwiches are that special. Pros: There are many choices when it comes to what you can put on your sandwich. Lots of meats, cheese, SAUCES, toppings. I think their sandwiches are pretty average. They’re good enough that when I’m in a rut or in a rush for a sandwich to eat, this is the place to come. Not good enough that when we are deciding for lunch that we want to eat I recommend Which Wich over other sandwiches places in the surrounding area. I love Board & Brew and sometimes even certain Subway sandwiches, but you have to make sure to get to both places at least 15 minutes before the general 12pm lunch rush or order them for pick up. The people here are very nice and I always appreciate good customer service. I asked for my sandwich to be toasted and when I received my sandwich it was indeed toasted, but there was FROZEN spinach inside — not fresh, frozen. The combination of frozen spinach inside of a toasted sandwich did not start off to a great first impression. I asked the guy if they could toast it a little bit longer so that the spinach wouldn’t be so cold and crunchy(thanks to the ice still on the spinach). Instead of just toasting it for me and doing it the easy way, he asked for my bag back and they remade my entire sandwich. Talk about great service. I really appreciated that gesture.

I enjoyed a very good breakfast sandwich from here. On a seven inch wheat roll, I had them put eggs, ham, bacon, provolone, feta, spinach, tomatoes, and their pesto spread all to be nicely toasted. It was a good looking and great tasting breakfast sandwich( ). They were quite generous with all the ingredients and the combination of the soft ham and crispy bacon, not to mention the melted nutty provolone and salty feta, made for some great eating( ). The pesto dressing was a big plus. It added great zesty flavor profile with its fragrant basil, flavorful Parmesan, rich olive oil, and pine nuts( ). The whole wheat bread was good. It came warm a with a toasty exterior. The employee who made my sandwich did a nice job with it, and I personally complimented him on it. The young girl who took my order was friendly enough and she helped me with the frozen ice in the ice machine that would not put out ice. She added warm water and that fixed the issue.

This place gets pretty busy at lunch time. Best to order your sandwich online and just pick up. My go to sandwich is the turkey club. This month’s special bag #8 is the Vietnamese banh mi. I didn’t know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Doesn’t taste like the typical banh mi, only better. The veggies aren’t pickled and the sandwich doesn’t have pâté but it think I prefer it this way. Hope they’ll keep this one on the regular menu.

I walked in craving a sandwich. Since this place replaced Quiznos and I’m leery of Subway with news of their use of a chemical that adds elasticity in their bread(same chemical used in sponges), Which Wich was an easy choice. It was also recommended by my sandwich loving co-worker. I gave a definite star because they’re a lot more efficient than Subway by having you waste your own time instead of theirs or the person behind you while you select your sandwich and fixings first in a corner on your own. Ha! Step 1: You fill out a brown bag selecting your menu choice & any fixings. Step 2: Hand your bag over and pay. Step 3: Pick up your bag full of goodness! Simple. For here? To go? They’re baggin it! Open kitchen. Friendly staff. The place is divey and as simple as a sandwich with its concrete floors, stainless steel tables and wood chairs/stools. Like other reviewers stated, they seem to get pretty busy weekdays around lunchtime, but from my experience, they’re well staffed and quick. I’m not crazy about sandwiches, but theirs are decent. I paid $ 6 and some change for a hot tuna melt that I enjoyed.
