It is delicious and a good price and I loved the all you can eat which they don’t have anymore hence my 4 stars and not 5 stars. The food is great!

I lower my review by 2. The 2nd to last time I was there the sushi was alright but the sushi chief was a complete jerk. My last visit the sushi was alright but the rolls were fallen apart. The rows were not secure. It was very amateurish. The price are reasonable for good sushi not amateurish sushi. I at the point again that I will go there when one sushi chief is working…

Two starts are for the food because it its good but the service is very slow there was only 3 tables in there they took about 25 miutes to bring us our food for only 2 people. There was no need to bring the food all together(guessing why they took so long) also the server forgot our drink plus the place needs better ventilation it smell kinda weird in there.

Underrated and awesome. Once I year I go to sushi ota, the other 51 weeks I’m at wasabi with my family enjoying albacore special and tuna maki rolls with fatty salmon nigiri. The beer and saki special is the icing on the cake. My only request is for wasabi sushi to turn their awesome looking outdoor area into a karaōke room.

Shame they removed the all you can eat; was informed by a friend they had that but apparently it’s not there anymore. Anyways, to the review: Salmon Kama– Very good. Haven’t had kama in a while, but was nice surprise to find. For those who don’t know kama is the chin, which very nice and fresh here. Try it! Beef roll — They used Bugolgi-flavored beef in the wrap, really nice roll. Would get again. Salmon roll — Basic salmon roll with vegetables wrapped in. Nothing spectacular. Salmon is fresh. Tuna roll — Very basic tuna roll. Fresh. I do have to mention the presentation of the rolls are rather amateurish; we had tuna rolls with absurd sizes, and 5 beef pieces when the menu said 6, although two pieces of the beef rolls were rather large. Also, food should not be protruding out of the roll in general. Some end pieces have raw tuna or leaves sticking out. In general, food is fresh, but they can work on the food presentation. We saw 50% on some items, so you can eat here daily. I would say a basic restaurant to keep in the books, and swing by once in a while.

This is always a good place for us. The sushi is fresh and the special rolls are creative. Their regular Japanese dishes are also excellent and the service is good every time. We recommend!

Highly underrated. Considering there’s a 50% of sign outside, the place looks deserreted most of the time and Osha is near by I can start to see why I’ve never had to wait for a table. Their prices are good, their yellowtail always delicious and fresh tasting and the staff endlessly helpful and friendly. There’s a patio out back and a large restaurant that never seems busy. Like Chun says, Sushi Deli — No wait.

My boyfriend and I LOVE Wasabi Sushi. The staff is very friendly and always recognizes us. The sushi is delicious and the rolls are filling and large. I highly recommend this place and we bring friends and family when they are in town. Good price point and good quality.

Their 50% off rolls are absolutely a good deal. Although, everything else is a little pricy. I came in on a Saturday night with my friend, wanting a place to stop by and have a snack. The eh part is that their rolls aren’t huge(At least the ones I got) and they used a bunch of cucumber/avacado to fill the rolls with hardly any fish. Now I understand why the rolls are cheap. A couple rolls, like the eel roll, broke easily. I understand how hard it is to make a eel roll because how soft it is but… We touched it and it fell apart. It wasn’t overall a bad experience, the people are nice, but I wasn’t impressed. I’ll give this place another try sometime in the future.

Great half off sushi rolls. We always eat well for under $ 40(2 people) spicy scallop is a favorite roll! Also have amazing green tea! Wish their half price menu would stop shortening :(but overall pretty good sushi spot if you’re on a budget!

I remember during my college years when this place use to be an all you can eat chinese restaurants filled with poor starving students. Now it is a pretty decent sushi restaurant. I was kind of unsure reading some of the mixed review here but I was mildly surprised how good the food was. I enjoyed the 3×3 sashimi. It was fresh and tasted really good. The rainbow roll was decent. The sushi sampler was good. Some pieces tasted better than others. Not many places these days serve a sampler set. Most places serve sushi in pairs to be shared by people. The sampler set is geared more to the hungry individual who wants to try everything. I had decent service sitting at the bar. Also, place has its only parking lot so it is a lot easier to park than other places in PB.

Very friendly staff and good food! From the outside you wouldn’t think it, but it definitely was a good Sunday night sushi dinner for my husband, 1 year old, and myself. We had both sushi and chicken for the baby and it was all delicious!

This place is amazing, everyone should try it at least once… you will be hooked. Some of my favorites are the Samurai and Wasabi Special rolls. Family owned place with a nice atmosphere, highly recommended. Good sushi at a fair price.

Yum… great friendly staff and prices. Not sure if its their happy hour special — but 50% off on selected sushi rolls & they are yummy. Had dinner here with my young lady friends and we selected pretty much anything on the menu for all of us to eat. I was a little afraid since i don’t eat raw but their 619 roll was delish along with their salmon tempura, spider roll, dragon roll, and everything else we ordered. I like how the sushi is prepared all on plate vs. it being served separately as they are prepped and waiting on the others to arrive. Definitely coming back.

The sushi here is really fresh & delicious… BUT!!! We had been here a handful of times and had the older gentleman as our sushi chef and he was great, but the other few times the younger man helped us and he was rude and boring. Not to mention they give their«favorite» customers a free cucumber & seaweed salad to start but if they don’t like you, you get nothing! Expect to pay $ 7 when you ask for one :-/ I feel offended by these people which is a bummer because the sushi is actually good… don’t think we’ll be back… P. S. When you order all you can eat — expect EXTRA rice on your sushi rolls…

Not a fan of feeling overstuffed after dinner, except maybe Thanksgiving. I feel the best after a sushi meal. The food is so clean tasting, yet with enough protein to be filling. The Dragon roll is always my first rill ordered, as a mater of fact, my server this week actually smiled and asked what I would like to drink with my Dragon roll. That attention to detail is so very important to me, there are so many establishments fighting for my dollar, amazing service keeps me coming back.

I went mid-afternoon and it wasn’t extremely busy. The service was great but the food was way better. The tuna and salmon fresh. I would definitely recommend you to try this place if you enjoy great sushi.

I cannot stress how good their sashimi is! Obviously from my pictures you can see I eat a lot of salmon. It’s thick and buttery everytime! Espn is on the tv’s! Love it! Service never lags for me but I do tend to go in the middle of the week around 2 pm. I love the chefs! The seaweed salad is good and the portions are huge! Thank you for continuing to provide delicious sushi at very affordable prices!

Updating my previous review(3 stars) as we have stopped by a couple more times. I think we must go at weird times as its never very busy when we go, so the service has been quick as well as the sushi. We don’t go crazy for rolls(what is included on their ½ price menu), usually ordering mostly nigiri(slice of fish over rice) and it has been better than most places in PB. I would say its more casual, and you don’t need a reservation like the trendier places nearby, but you also don’t have the price tag. If you are looking for decent sushi and reasonable prices I think this is a very legit place. There seems to be plenty of parking in their lot and since its a little ways away from the nightlife I don’t think you would have loud drunk people coming in.
