VS Construction Group

I talked to Alex for foundation bid on my new house building project, for a while and came to know that he is a typical «get and change» kind of person. He at first gave a very good price, but when at the stage of engagement, he changed his bid completely. In my case, the bid becomes ~2X from the original estimation. He said the difference is due to change in the plan I asked him to specify what are the differences in the plan making 2X in the estimation, but he refused to do that. When I ask him whether he can complete only for the portion of the original bid, and he also refuses to do that. I eventually came down to another contractor who does the same work at almost half of his final bid. Be careful his original good bid, which will inflate rapidly at minor change. I would not recommend him to anybody.
