From the outside Village Market looks like a small«mum and pop» business. However, they are more capitalistic and concerned with profit margins than Exxon or Monsanto. Shop at the Ralphs or Vons down the street and get your liquor at any other liquor store.

This place is pretty awesome. I live a few blocks over and i come in every morning and afternoon. I do alot of woodworking and i come in here to get old hinges and knobs left over from when this used to be the hardware store. Its like my old timey walgreens!

A nice little liquor store with a lot of conviences. The beer selection is really good. If you need anything for the weekend you can pretty much pick it up here. Staff is freindly. Parking is a little tight out front, beware not drive off the sidewalk.

Conveniencies, necessities, amenities, items you may not even know you need or want… all can be found in the most convenient of all convenience stores: the Village Store. Liquor.lots of it. A wall of bottles from top to bottom should allow one to find a desired booze. Plus their reasonably priced gift sets of fancy elixirs have saved my forgetful a** in the past. Beers and wines a plenty plus more refrigerated doors than I have ever seen in one store containing just about any kind of anything requiring cooled temps. Forgot your fedora. Village Store has your head covered. This store is seriously stocked with stuff and smiling staff. I like it a lot! A note: cash is preferred, cards are accepted for a small fee.

This store rocks. They not only have a great selection of beer and spirits, they have lots of stuff you may need in a pinch. I went in there one Thanksgiving and found twine for the turkey legs(for you turkey roasters). Lots of stuff you need that you may not even know they stock. Browse the shelves, you may be pleasantly surprised. The family that runs the store is also very nice and works hard at keeping the shelves well stocked with variety.

I went to the Village Store, and ohh man. I love this place. The employees are super nice. They always greet me. Even the times I feel like it is the worst day of my life, I walk inside and I see an Alcohol GALORE and I fall in love. Just down the street is shelter island, and it’s lovely.

It’s always awesome when the closest liquor store to your apartment is awesome. Plus, it looks like something out of the old west(complete with faux wood sidewalk) so n00bs always find a need to comment on it. Great selection of beers, and since it’s tucked away in my ‘hood, not many people know about it.(This place had the Stone Vertical Epic 07.07.07 in stock waaaaay longer than everyone else.) And there’s a small selection of other necessary munchies there as well… including limes for wonderful Mexican beers. Hooray! Plus, they recognize me there enough not to card me anymore, so my need for approval and recognition is satisfied there.
