Vecchione Plastic Surgery: Thomas Vecchione, MD

Wow. I am a huge fan! Unfortunately, the manner in which I met Dr. Vecchione was not a good one. My son was bit in the face by my sister’s dog over the weekend and we were ambulanced to Children’s. I was adamant about having the best Plastics around. Dr. Vecchione was on call on Sunday and came in to save the day. WE didn’t have much contact with him, a short conversation before the surgery and than none after. We made a follow up and went to see him yesterday at his Hillcrest office. Parking on site and a nice atmosphere. Which in Hillcrest was a blessing. We were greeted when we walked in and saw Dr. Vecchione as soon as the paperwork was done. He also has a very friendly staff. Dr. Vecchione made my son feel so at ease, he was very nervous and that was to be expected. Dr. V was very personable and went into detail what he did at the hospital and the concerns he had and has. Very gentle man as well. He was more than happy to talk with my Father in Law who is a Dr. but up in Nor Cal. Talking time out of his busy day to talk Dr. talk with family is going above the duty call and I really appreciated that. We are beyond grateful to Dr. V for taking care of our son and being so caring and gentle.
