I will say that Vivian was nice when I called the office and asked for an appt for my daughter. She happily told me that she had an appointment available for the next morning due to a cancellation. So my daughter would walk there because it is close to the school and everything was great. During the night my daughter came down with the flu and I called as soon as the office opens to tell them that the appt she so sweetly offered the day before had to be cancelled due to an illness. Well Vivian was not so nice anymore and told me that a cancellation had to be done 48 before the appt and that I would have to find another office. Her and her staff would not see me or my family in that office. I WAS SHOCKED! I had not been told anything like that about a cancellation when talking to her the day before. I did not even have the appt booked for 48 hours. I could not believe it. I have never been treated so badly. I even called her back to ask why she was so rude and she said sorry that was their policy and there was no way around it. I am not a person that does reviews often but this was something that has to be put out there. I told her I was bringing my daughter in there anyways even though she was sick so they could do her cleaning even though she may get people sick. She said if I showed up she would F***ing call the cops. I am Stunned. Stunned!

So, I’ll start this by saying I’ve had a fear of dentists most of my natural life. Stemming from lots of work done as a teenager, I rarely made it to the dentist as an adult. Enter Dr. Luckman who’s office I happened to call based on their pretty nifty website. NO Unilocal reviews, but hopefully this will change that! I had broken my tooth and after a 4 year lull in going to the dentist, this would have to be the reason to break the streak and finally make back to the Dentist.
Obviously the broken tooth would need a crown, but I have to say I wasn’t looking forward to the process or the awful trips to the dentist to get this accomplished. But, I’m happy I found Dr. Luckman. She saw me the next day and went right to work giving me a new-​patient cleaning, evaluation and of course diagnosis for the broken tooth. Everybody there in the office is awesome! From Maria’s beautiful smiling face greeting you at the front desk to all of the wonderful and caring staff. Dr. Luckman has definitely assembled an awesome team of caring, friendly and damn good staff. This from a guy who has bounced from dentist-​to-​dentist over 20 years because of fear and sometimes forced-​upon treatment, I’m proud to call Dr. Luckman my new Dentist. She is so awesome and thorough with her work. She has such a kind, confident and caring voice, you’re at ease the entire time. She reviews all the options, suggests the best course of action and makes you feel great about whatever decision you make for your dental plan. Oh yeah, she kicked butt and took names on the procedure as well!
I’m so glad she and her Avenger staff/​team are here in Clairemont and so crazy close, I can’t possibly miss an appointment. Nor would I want to!
