Two Birds Grilled Cheese

Oh they will be greatly missed :(

I absolutely LOVE this place! From the friendly smiles of the three adorable boys behind the counter, to the delicious ooey-​gooey grilled cheese (and Monkey Ranch), this place is one of my top «late night eat» spots in all of PB.

I like the concept and such of this place. It’s a grilled cheese stand right on the side of the road. Fantastic for everyone and anyone, especially if you have been drinking and would like a base for the rest of the evening. I really enjoyed my pepperjack cheese grilled cheese on the fluffy bread panini style. It was warm, crispy bread outside, fluffy bread inside and the cheese is a great balance with great flavor completely melted. I was actually quite impressed and would definitely eat the food again.
What made me slightly turned off was the guy that was taking my order, collecting money and essentially interacting with all customers. He looked like he was completely baked out of his mind and by my interaction with him, he 100% was. He couldn’t focus on me long enough to get my order, take money and give me change. It should be about 2 minutes but it last way longer and just irritated me. Not to mention, everyone else behind the grill was distracting him and it just rubbed me the wrong way. The sandwich itself is quite fantastic but the staff really needs to get their act together if they want to be respected in our area.

The guys here are so great and they really make a mean grilled cheese. I was so happy to see the bench out there because MAN did I need to sit down… thank you!

YUM! Randomly stumbled across these guys — awesome grilled cheese sandwiches! Really nice guys running it, will come back again. Every grilled cheese you buy feeds a child for a day :)
