Tusker’s Trunk

Who does not love elephants? This elephant themed gift shop at the San Diego Zoo carries really cute tee shirts with a primary focus on the elephant, but also includes other animal prints. Screen printers have evolved tee shirt graphics recently and they are pumping out some nice, wearable fashion without predictable slogans on them.
Stop in and pick up tee shirts, hats, and souvenirs. I especially love introducing puppets to the next generation because they encourage creativity and are a great alternative to electronics and the animals at Tusker’s Trunk make great gifts. The wide brimmed hats can be put to immediate use on a hot day and they have you covered (literally) with a selection of hats for men, women and children. One thing that you will never find here is elephant tusk! Elephants are the ONLY creatures that needs those tusks!
This is one of the smaller, more quaint souvenir shops at the Zoo, it is rarely busy so you can get on with your adventure.
