There are so many nail salons in the area (3 that I know of in Tierrasanta) it would b nice if just one stood out from the others. The girls here r very friendly and will give u a bottled water once u sit down. The prices are average to a little higher than one of the other two in the area. All in all they do a good job just wish they weren’t as expensive as they are Usually costs me 40 – 45 just for a pedicure!

This place is really close to home and I had a gift certificate so I thought I would give it a try. The luxury pedicure is awesome. The paraffin makes your feet so soft and the massage was pretty long and relaxing, along with the scrub and mask.
I rate three stars because my gel manicure on the other hand wasn’t satisfying. My gift certificate already came with a $ 20 tip so I really hoped they would attend to my requests, but the manicurist (different from the woman doing my toes) did a poor job. She filed my nails all wrong, some were square, some were round. When I asked her to fix it, she couldn’t understand me, she thought I said something else and ended up cutting my nails shorter than I had wanted. Also, the gel chipped two hours after leaving the salon.

They give the best pedicures!!! I love how relaxing the are!!! I won’t let anyone else touch my feet! The designs are beautifully hand painted and unique! I love the deluxe pedicure because that’s what makes my feet happy! I highly recommend their pedicures. My mom and I go every two weeks it is soooooo worth it!

1. Despite looking nice initially, my gel manicure chipped in less than 4 days. Waste of money 2. Walking into the place I didn’t get very good vibes. I opened the door and the employees as well as one customer were all standing up by the window as if they were watching me walking up. They all tried to shuffle and act nonchalant but it didn’t work. It was awkward. I felt it, they felt it. Maybe they were talking about me before I opened the door. Who knows. The awkward entrance and the silence that followed made my experience uncomfortable. For those reasons I won’t be returning.

So I went back for a second time and they just keep getting better! Today I had Henry and Kim and they are both extremely great! And Kim does some absolutely amazing flowers! Like I can’t even explain how great my toes turned out! Honestly don’t go anywhere else for your nails!

I did not have a good experience the second time I went here. I was asked to move immediately after my pedicure and my gel manicure chipped on two nails 4 days after. I will not be back. I did not feel relaxed be the quality of the work is not good. Gel usually lasts two weeks for me but now my nails look really bad and I’m going to wedding this weekend and I’ll have to pay another $ 50 to get my nails done. Nice people but not going to be my new place.

Came to TLC on a Sunday and was able to walk right into a chair! Kimmy designed my nails beautifully, they look so unique and is nothing like any other design at the other nail salons! I will definitely be back again:)

Affordable & great service! The entire staff is so welcoming & friendly.
Most often, I come here for a pedicure ($ 20). They do a great job every time. I came in once wanting to get a manicure & to try the claw nail trend (tamer version). I showed the nail tech what it was (probably thought I was weird) & she did an awesome job especially for trying it for the first time!
Monday-​Wednesday they have an amazing deal. If you purchase a luxury pedicure ($ 39), you get a manicure for free! I figured I’d give it a go since I needed a pedicure. It was BETTER than I anticipated! Well worth the deal. The best was the scrub & lotion. It exfoliated my feet & the massage was just what my feet needed. So relaxing… I was trying not to fall asleep. Lol!

I’m a very picky person and this is the first place where I always leave more than happy. They actually listen to what you want and are the sweetest people ever and that’s saying a lot with me being a perfectionist. Even the waxing that sue doe is always perfect and Henry is the only person I will ever let touch my nails. This place should charge more for what they do and the customer service being a 10⁄10. You won’t regret getting anything done here. Very clean place and wonderful atmosphere. I could go on and on about this place but I feel people should come here and see it them selfs perfection at its finest.

I am a cry baby with pedicures… and she was absolutely AMAZING!!! VERY GENTLE AND AWESOME LEG MASSAGE! I had the best Deluxe pedicure ever… $ 34 is an awesome price… and please tip nail techs well!!! They pampered the hell out of your feet. so they deserve more than $ 5 dollar tips!
Lily is super nice and talented… I recommend coming to this nail place in your near future. I know where to come next time I visit San Diego!
Everyone there is also friendly!!! I am in love with SAN Diego and their customer service skills are on point!

About a week ago I stopped into TLC and was taken care of right away! Henry was my manicurist and was AMAZING. Best manicure I’ve had & I have high expectations! I have french manicure acrylics and am very particular about the length of my nails. He was very personable (great sense of humor) and did an amazing job on my nails along with affordable prices. I’ve received many compliments on my nails and will definitely be returning :)

Ok, I have to admit it, I’m very very picky when I have to pick a place to get my manicure done…
One day I was at Tierrasanta area and I saw the TLC hairs and nails salon and I decided to give them a try (after reading the all good Unilocal reviews) and l was happily surprised with the manicure that Lisa gave me.
She was asking me during doing the time she was doing my nails about the shape that I want it, if the color was right, so I can say that she is perfectionist which I really like it!
I’m more that pleasant with my experience here and now I can say I found a perfect place to get my nails done and I’m very sure I’ll be happy all the time with the results!
