This bar is awesome. I came in for a quick second to grab a bite with my cousin for the pats game and was tended to promptly. I ordered the club and had the bartender help me heat up the deli meats for my pregnancy needs :)
I really appreciate that! Also, I love the amount of TVs they have in the bar. I cannot speak for the drinks but as far as food goes they serve it very well and delicious! I am very happy with the service and as for the ambiance well it’s just a normal bar with a couple of pool tables. They even have a couple great games on the side. This is a bar I would probably not come back to because I’m not into bars but if someone were to invite me I wouldn’t turn it down.

I came here on Thursday for lunch time shots with some clients. The bartender was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. One of the clients asked for a sweet shot and the bartender made his own version of a shot and it was delicious. Great service!

Timeout burger. Best burger downtown. Hod ad’s worthy opponent… no long lines, steak fries and you can actually taste the seasoning in the beef, together with fixings, this place is the stone in David’s sling facing Goliath!

This is absolutely my favorite local bar in downtown San Diego! Good drinks, pool tables, tons of TVs and awesome bartenders! Bring a group of friends on a Friday night or come here alone after work. Dress up or dress down! Everyone is welcome. Anytime you’re on timeout is a good time! ;)

I’d say this place is more of a dive bar with lots of televisions than a true sports bar. But that’s all good. I stopped in here on a Sunday to watch a Packers game. The Chargers were playing on Monday night, so the place was empty except for my party of three and a family of Raiders fans. The game was terrible and we left at halftime.
We had some food while we were there, and none of us liked what we ordered. Not sure if it was our selections or the food itself, or maybe I was just in a bad mood because the Packers were getting killed. Either way, I wouldn’t go back for the food.
I’d go back for the bar though, that’s for sure. The bar itself is nice. Great beer selection, several pool tables, a foosball table, and a few other games. Service was decent. I’d like to check the place out when it’s hopping, I bet it’s pretty good.

This place is more than a little strange, but here are some things you need to know.
— It’s divey.
— It’s big and spacious, but almost completely empty.
— There are air vents everywhere, but it’s scorching hot.
— The bathrooms are not marked and hard to find.
— They have a few pool tables and one of those pop-​a-​shot basketball games.
— Lots of craft beer on tap, 28 I think.
— The staff is friendly enough.
— They do serve food but I didn’t try it. Wasn’t hungry and it didn’t look very appetizing.
— Great drink prices for DT.
— Did I mention that it’s hot?

On the morning of my birthday recently, some friends/​co workers and I went for some food, and the minute they found out it was my birthday it was over! We started to bar hop, and this place was stop number two.
My friend really wanted to take me to this place in particular. The place itself has a pretty chill vibe to it, it’s definitely not a hole in the wall, it has two pool tables, and an old school arcade game with Pacman and I think Galaga.
It’s a great place to stop in if you have an itch to play some pool or have a drink or two as you bar hop through downtown, or any where in downtown for that matter. I know eventually I’ll be back to play some pool, since it’s near my place and I’m always down to play some pool!

Went here for the UFC fight last night with a few friends. Great smaller bar for watching sports. The food and drink prices were descent. The draft beers were good, but my friend ordered a simple mixed drink which turned out horrible.
Our server was very friendly, however the service could have been much better! It was a busy night and it seemed like there was only one server. Our check was all messed up at the end with stuff added to the bill we didn’t even order. Eventually, all was figured out.

Great selection of beers on draft, they had an amazing watermelon wheat and a great pineapple cider but the curly haired blond bartender was VERY unfriendly and she charged me $ 4 for my $ 2 jello shots. If the service was better this place would be awesome

If you are looking for decent happy hour drink prices and not much else this is a great spot. If however your looking for Happy hour bites to go along with your drinks I would stay away!
Came with the GF, and cousin to try this place out since it was close to our apartment downtown. Ordered the Cheese Sticks, the Carne Asada quesadilla, and Chili Cheese Fries.
The Cheese sticks had no flavor and came out cold.
My cousin described the Chili Cheese fries as «Cold Chili Potato Pudding».
The Carne Asada Quesadilla was not bad but it wasnt good either.
$ 5 Jameson shots during happy hour was a great deal. The bartender was very nice, and friendly!

time out has a great selecton of beers on tap and there food very yummy, and there employees are very friendly, super good prices, not to mention there 9 tvs and a huge big sreen to wath your favorite sports, i recommend time out to all locals. this is my favorite spot to chill

I come here to play billiards all the time cool sports bar. They have a great bar selection and good food as well I always get the burger with steak fries.

Great sports bar for drinks & games. They have 3 pool tables and arcade games. They also have a big screen. Perfect for watching football games.
I’ve had the time out burger with steak fries and it was exactly what I was craving. Their tacos are also great.
The staff is always friendly and the service is fast & excellent.
Great place to meet new people.

Good drink specials… But that’s about it. Bartender has NO personality and the food is mediocre at best. If you’re only drinking and want peace and quiet it’s good but not your typical «bar» experience.

Cool downtown bar! Came here unplanned on a Thursday night and was pleasantly surprised. 3 pool tables, huge tvs for the ideal sports fan, and friendly service. Checked in and received a free domestic draft beer as well! Pretty cheap shots here, $ 6 for Jameson. Grabbed a St. Archer on special for $ 4. Loved the ambience, definitely want to come back on gameday.

Perfect bar. I appreciate the sunny windows, otherwise traditional bar. The best sweet potato fries I have ever had. Excellent selection of good beers.
