They had a decent selection of sexy costumes here the day after Halloween, and everything was 50% off. I think the prices were reasonable as well, compared to the other Halloween tents we checked out. The same costumes here were going for $ 5 – 15 less. I would go back next year for accessories.

A bit overpriced, but good selection of costumes.

Came here Wednesday afternoon to seek out what to wear for ye olde Hallows Eve this weekend. Driving along Camino Del Rio S, it was easy to miss. This place was next to Sheraton and a fitness gym. Parking was limited due to the gym members next door. I don’t blame them, I would totally do a quick gym lift session before trying on some customes. This store has quite a bit of selection you need(masks, accessories, full on customes, etc.) especially for the ladies. The men’s selection was a bit small with little variety. The place was not too busy with costumers, I am pretty sure everyone and their children spawn are trying to get last minute get-ups. There were signage and staff reminding folks that 1 customer can try only 3 costumes. Luckily, I didn’t need that many times. Costumes were a bit pricier than usual, I am sure you can find sets cheaper on Amazon or other online retailer. So you are paying the luxury of last minute ideas. 2 costumes for 59.99 a piece? Yup, be prepared to shell out some money. Or you can do a cheap costume by wrapping yourself in aluminum foil. Guess what you would be? Leftovers.(You bet I did this one a few years back) Happy hunting!

The prices here are WAY better than Spirit! Attentive staff and plenty of costumes & accessories to chose from. You try on before you buy so you don’t get stuck with something that doesn’t fit right. There’s a clearance section in the back, and some of the shoes the models are wearing with the costume on the package. HUGE plus is the store is locally owned and operated, the store was in Miramar last year.

Halloween is almost upon us, and you know what that means(besides getting lots of candy) — popup Halloween costume stores! This year’s location at Miramar is called The House of Halloween, and unlike some other popup stores, this one delivers. I went here yesterday to pick up a pair of gloves to help complete my costume for tonight’s Unilocal Elite Halloween party — not only did they have what I was looking for, the store was organized in a way where I could easily find them. Surprisingly, the House of Halloween is still well-stocked as of this writing… perhaps it’s because it’s because it’s in a semi-hard to reach section of Miramar Road, or because despite the proximity to Halloween, most of their inventory is still at full price(I paid $ 7.99 for the gloves I found). Still, if you’re doing some last minute costume shopping before the holiday, the House of Halloween is a worthy place to check out. Hopefully once Halloween passes, their inventory will be discounted, as I saw a few more costume pieces that caught my eye and that I could use for future costume ideas.
