The Bungalow Store

We just love this store. They have an amazing collection and some hard to find collectibles. There is always something new every time we visit this place. The owners are very knowledgeable and always helpful with their clients. Can’t wait to go back and learn something new about their new collection.

The Bungalow Store on India Street is a local treasure; Peter and Katherine are great people, they have some of the most interesting and great antiques in town.
If you have a bungalow, Craftsman or Spanish/​Mission Revival home or even if you don’t — this is The Place in San Diego to buy really really cool stuff their prices are very moderate, Peter & Catherine are some of the most down-​to-​earth folks alive, their knowledge of San Diego history, early 20^th century antiques is better than 99% of people that I know…
They have great Spanish, Mexican, folk art and some very neat reproduction Spanish Revival light fixtures. Peter is also a wood worker, if you need a repair or advise, this is the place to visit.
You will see stuff here that no one else has in town, from Monterey furniture, to Catalina stuff, vintage Spanish Revival tiles, a few Arts & Crafts pieces, lots of great paintings (c. 1930s), Bauer pots and more.
I love to shop here for my wife’s birthday or Valentine’s Day presents…
