Had an amazing experience here today. Walked in and almost immediately found the perfect pendent for me. Mickey (hope I spelled her name right) was very helpful. I learned basic jewelry construction skills and make my necklace and earrings fairly quickly. They have the option yo pay to have them do it for you as well. I will be back again and bringing more friends.

My experience today was wonderful. Hadn’t been in for a couple months and one of the girls recognized me and remembered what I bought!!! Her name is Amber and she was so very nice and helpful, as they always are in there. Great place to find amazing treasures and phenomenal staff!

I’m no crafter, but every time I want to replicate jewelry I head straight to the Black Bead. The workers there are so helpful and patient helping to plan out the piece with you, and they even have helped me construct the bracelets/​necklaces! I’ve been coming for about 5 years and always leave smiling. Come when it’s not their peak hours though, otherwise expect to be patient! Thanks Black Bead!

Fun fun store! I’m not a beady-​crafty person, but I go here when I need a leather cord for a Necklace or a jump hoop to turn a single surviving earring into a cute charm. The variety of beads is vast and the prices seem reasonable. Helpful service, too. they always seem to be closed when I wander by, but when I catch them open its a treat.

The selection of beads here is amazing. They have pretty much every kind of bead you can think of and all kinds of tools and supplies. I had something fairly specific in mind and the staff was very helpful when I asked for advice. It’s a great place to go when you’re feeling THE NEED TO BEAD but it’s also really cool just to look at even if you’re not really into crafts and stuff. You could probably spend hours in there and still find yourself noticing neat new beads you overlooked before.

A wide selection of beads! From crystal gems to glass beads. all of the employees are friendly and are more than happy to assist you. They can also fix or replace broken necklace chains! It’s also very dog friendly.

I shop here on a regular basis. This shop has the widest variety of beads in all different sizes, shapes, styles and designs. They carry precious stones and delicate crystals. The shop owner Lynn is very helpful and she helps me by reordering things quickly when out of stock. Amber is a awesome employee there… She is willing to help you and is extremely patient and kind. Mickey and Sharon always kind as well. Overall the best bead shop ive ever been too. Not just because the unlimited amount of beads and supplies… But also because the staff is awesome. I would give 6 stars if I could.

Great selection of hemp string! A lot of very beautiful, unique beads too, some unlike any I have ever seen. Staff is also friendly and helpful, and it doesn’t feel like they are trying to sell you stuff. They were also fine with my little dog coming inside with me which is very appreciated.

This store is absolutely amazing! They have a wide selection of beads and the staff here are extremely friendly!
I took my mom here the other day since she wanted to visit another bead store. We drove almost an hour to get here. TOTALLY WORTH IT. The entire store had beads and other beading materials all over. The pricing was an okay price. I would definitely take my mom back here if she wanted to go back. The biggest thing that I LOVED is the staff trying to match beads with each other and helping my mom come up with bead combinations.

Great selection of hemp & glass beads. Well beads in general you can come here confident that you’ll leave with exactly what you wanted. Plus they have a great bucket of half off strands of beads :) love the location it’s two blocks away from the beach! Who doesn’t love that!

Extensive selection of beads and strings to make your own necklace and bracelets. The shop is situated at the heart of Ocean Beach.
They have every charms, beads, and pendents imaginable. You can spend the day making your own jewlery or they have some pre-​made ones where you can buy for cheap. Whether you are looking to buy some supplies to make your own, or on a crafty adventure with a date, they have everything you need! I wish I had the time to hang out more in SD so I can make my own souvenir. Till next time!
