You can’t beat their prices. They do a good job and always give a nice foot and arm massage.

This was probably the worst service I’ve ever received from a nail place. I went in just to get my acrylics removed. The lady soaked my nails in acetone which took her an hour to come back and check on me, plus I didn’t know where she went. When she finally came back, she checked my nails and put it back in acetone. She kept checking cash and the register and looking at the other salon through the surveillance, which was empty, and kept calling that store. When she finally finished what she was doing, another 30 minutes went by before she started to sand down my nails. She sanded it down to almost my skin… I kept pulling my hand away because it started to hurt. She would say sorry but kept sanding down my nails anyway. I was trying to be nice and patient, so I didn’t say anything. I will never go here again. Worst service ever, very unprofessional!

Omg so unprofessional! Called and made an appt for 6:30pm and when I got there they didn’t know anything about it and just kept talking to each other and ignored me and I said ok I’ll just leave then. No response of course and then I just left! Never got to try them and never will!

This is my place. I come here every few weeks. I always sit right down and am immediately taken care of. Everyone is friendly and welcoming– but not too welcoming, I am always welcome to watch tv or read my book. No over selling either, which is super annoying. The place is pretty clean and reasonably priced.

Ok so to be clear: Tammy’s Nails I is one block away on Pennsylvania and 5th. This one, Tammy’s Nails II, is on 5th and Robinson. The 5th and Robinson location is cleaner and nicer than the Pennsylvania and 5th location. I have gone to both several times. I prefer this location, Tammy’s Nails II, because it just looks nicer. In terms of the nail job, both are fine. The price is awesome. If you are looking for a basic mani/pedi – one that is better than the one you’d do yourself – this is the place! Satisfactory! But… satisfactory. I think the pedicures are better than the manicures. The pedicures involve a good cleaning and scrubbing, and the paint job lasts a good while. However, I have found the manicures to be pretty sub-par. I JUST got one and the area underneath my fingernails is just not that clean. WTH?!? I’m not a dirty person with a dirty job – in fact i wear gloves most of the day – but the manicurist didn’t clean the area under my nails. Basic. Recommended for a basic job! Better than the one you’d do for yourself.

AVOIDTHISPLACE! I don’t like to write negative reviews, I have to feel strongly to do so. I tried this place and was sorely disappointed. The product was inferior, the service atrocious, the value obviously not present, and hygienic matters ignored. The lady was trimming the cuticles and took a chunk of live healthy skin off! I jumped up and yelled, my toe was bleeding! Later she almost poured alcohol on the open wound! I went in for a pedi and to fix an acrylic fingernail and it took over two hours. Oh! And one thing I hate the most — they play like they can’t understand English until it benefits them to understand.

You get what you pay for. I had the $ 16 cheap pedicure, and the polish chipped off in less than a week. Very standard pedi, I wouldn’t even consider it a ‘spa’ pedicure experience. Foot rub was maybe 2 minutes long, water was cold, and it just seemed rushed. Won’t come here again.

Is the standard for a good pedicure these days that they just don’t hurt you?! And its OK that their nail polish is so gross that you have to bring your own?! This place is awful. So was the«lady» treating me, she was dressed like a hooker and made me stare at her OPEN crotch and hanging tits the whole time. She played with her earpiece or hair while rubbing my toes, and she started to drift off in the middle. Wtf. Also typical 90s shit where they openly talk about you in another language when you refuse their upsell. $ 16 for a nasty chair pedi, $ 11 for a regular, then halfway through she wanted to charge me $ 5 more to just lightly scrub my heels. I said«what IS a pedi then?» She couldn’t speak English to explain it to me, and got mad and then did it anyway. Seriously? Not speaking ANY English is unacceptable. It means you don’t get what you want. No OPI or Essie polish, all cheap crap. No plucking my three toe hairs. No clean towel between toe cleaning and polishing so I’m just sitting in my own dead skin. She keeps shoving my legs together to make polishing easier for her. Nonsense! All of it! These are practically Beverly Hills prices(Sandy’s, $ 30 for the best Mani/pedi ever), for ghetto services.

Came in on a Sunday Afternoon. It was not busy, and sat down right away. My partner and I decided on the Mani-Pedi Spa treatment they have. You sit on a massage chair and underneath they have a little bath for your feet. While that is happening, the lady takes your hands and does your nails. Clips, brushes and cleans them up. It was a very relaxing Mani-Pedi, the only think i didnt like was when she was doing the manicure for my left hand she had me pull my hand all the way over to the right side(where she was standing) and was a little uncomfortable, isnt this suppose to be a mini spa relaxing thing? I just didnt want to move and let them do everything haha. The Pedicure was excellent, they dig into those nose like no tomorrow and clean it up real good! the small leg massage they do I couldnt resist moaning a little bit bc it felt good. I fairly Enjoyed it a lot, but i thought Manicure was suppose to come with at least some kind of fingernail paint or clear gel. I asked her about it, since this was my first time and there is a lot of Language barriers and miscommunication here. im sorry to say, but i did not understand what the Vietnamese lady told me «20 Dollar more» to me that seem like add another $ 20 for just to get some clear gel on the fingernails?! i was so confuse and just was like«ok ok no thank you» The ladies are really nice, most of people there getting a Mani-Pedi were doing their own thing and not talking no one. shoot, i was the only one laughing away and interacting with the Ladies, they were really nice and funny. They get very impress when you start busting out a few Vietnamese words here and there. They Love it! They did a great job, i have never seen my nails so well define and trimmed very well. We def. Great cheap pedicure but be sure to bring your own polish and top coat and it will be the best pedicure deal around. $ 16 for the spa one in new massage chairs. They do a great job and never hurt me. It’s very clean and newish. I have walked in and been served every time. Their polishes and top coats get gooey so bring your own or skip it. They don’t speak English so don’t expect to chat.
