Deeply disappointed in the service received on 01÷30÷16. The waiter was rude and slow. We ended up having to have the manager take our order after waiting 30 minutes. Then the waiter shows up after we were served to bring the check. Did not take my stripes number(attitude) and hurried up and took payment. I probably won’t go to this TGIF ever again. There are too many places in the valley to go rather than go where the service is poor.

If i could give this place negative stars I would. A group of us went here last night after a concert and were never seated. There were 10 of us. We got there a little after 11:00 pm and it was crowded due to a lot of people going after the concert. We were told the wait would be about 45 minutes. Ok thats understandable as we were a big group and the place was packed. So we wait and wait and wait some more. An hour later and several other people being sat ahead of us we check with the hostess to see how much longer. She says about 10 minutes as they are waiting for a big party pay and leave. Uhm ok… Needless to say that NEVER happened!!! We ask about our table again in about 15 minutes and are still given the same story… We are waiting for the big party to leave. Uhm have you ever heard of putting some tables together to accommodate a big party! There is not only one area in this restaurant. People from our party started leaving because at this point we have been waiting almost 2hrs. Mind you everyone else that was waiting for a table has been seated, not to mention a bunch of people who came in behind us. The way we were treated was totally unacceptable. There is no way we should have to wait 2hrs for a table while a ton of people are being seated around us. And how do you explain«waiting» for a party to pay and leave before you seat another party??? People have the right to take their time and eat and enjoy their meals. How about management make an accommodation for its customers? Not one time the entire time we were waiting did a manager come out and speak with us or offer us alternative seating or any other suggestions. Just unacceptable. And I will be emailing as well as calling the corporate office. Im pretty sure had we not been a group of black people, someone would have come out and tried to rectify the situation. Just ridiculous!!!

Honestly I love going to Fridays. I usually do. But this location is at the bottom of my list. To start the music was way too loud, I couldn’t even here my fiancé talking. Then the server had taken at least 10 mins to bring us our drinks. I have worked in the service industry for a few years now, I understand when you’re in a rush and have a packed house to take a good while. But 10 mins? And there were really only a few people in there. In the beginning our server didn’t really seem like he wanted to be there. We could tell he was Un happy while taking the order and working in general. On the upside, both of us loved the entrees we chose! By the end of our meal, we could tell his attitude changed and seemed happier, so we left a good tip. It’s always nice to see someone happy when serving you, it sets the vibe for your experience. But we thought he was the cutest thing, so thanks Lil Joe for your service. Just keep that smile going honey(:

Unfortunately, the service here was horrible. It’s my first time coming to this restaurant, TGIFriday in general, and it’s my last. We order our drinks and waited 30 min to fully received them. Once we got to ordering, we order our appetizers and our meal. Waited another 45 mins to receive our meal before the appetizers. Brought the wrong appetizers THREE times. The food was cold and the meat was burnt, the hamburger in general was terrible. Once I received my meal I asked for ranch tree times, waited 45 mins to actually get it. I don’t recommend coming to this place, Unless your patient enough to receive burnt food. I recommend going to another TGIFriday around the area.

Went last night on Friday 01÷08÷16 w/My bf since I saw the 474 on tv and wanted to see what the specials are. I usually always had a good experience at a TGIF at the Orange County locations. However, I saw a few negative reviews on Unilocal at the Mission Valley location, so I wanted to try it andgive it a benefit of the doubt. First impression wasn’t great, hostess wasn’t very friendly, so we end up the bar for happy hour. It was a confusion of who the waitress/server/bartender were since we had 3 different people taking our orders. Person #1)Drinks came out great, no complaints. Person #2)We were told the $ 4 appetizers were half order, so we ordered the happy hour full size appetizers, which were half off; were given silverwares, but no appetizer plates Person #3)Bf ordered Jack Daniel’s Burger w/season fries. I ordered the Jack Daniel’s Chicken w/2 sides-baked potato & broccoli, assuming that I ordered from the $ 7 menu, but did not asked if I wanted the half order or full size. Food Presentation– Jack Daniel’s Burger looked plain and dry w/no sauce, which my bf thought it was supposed to be smothered and filled with Jack Daniel’s sauce. Jack Daniel’s Chicken breasts looked overcooked and dry, baked potato was just right as well as the broccoli. Flavor overall was mediocre but not something we would order again. Bill-when asked about the Jack Daniel’s Chicken was from the original menu or $ 7 entrée… but mentioned that I wasn’t offered the half order instead of the full order, but nothing was done or no apology. Extra– we ordered 2 Drinks from Mason Jars that gave us option to take home; when asked if they have new ones, the response was, we don’t have new ones, it’s all USED, so we just re-wash it all. This is the first time that we were given a used Glass/Jar that instead of being given a brand new one; as a customer, I would take health/sanitary reaaons into consideration since we wouldn’t know who the previous users were and maybe the jars weren’t washed or cleaned with boiling water or sanitized, especially since it a well known food chain establishment. I think the worse experience was the customer service, which I gave 1 star for drinks and for effort. We were unhappy customers, but still gave an 18% tip. This is our first time and last time here. :(

Me and my girlfriend had the best time last night. Tony the bartender was so awesome and professional and patient. He Is really good at making drinks and even has some tricks under his sleeve. You will have to go and ask him to show you his tricks! Defiantly loved the drinks and food was good. The service of Joseph and other employees were very professional. I will be coming back. Recommendation slice your tuna thinner.

What a horrible dinner! I recently bought a coupon book to support a friends son for his school which included a buy one get one free entrée. We usually go for the apps and beers so I figured, why not have an entrée. But I wasn’t starving and was craving the boneless buffalo wings so I ordered the chicken strips and fries and asked for a side of buffalo and blue cheese. My girlfriend ordered the mahi mahi. Let’s go back… ordered drinks… 15 min later they came, forgot the water, asked 2 more times… 10 minutes after the 3rd time asking, they came. Back to the food, the chicken strips came, covered in honey. Not honey mustard just plain honey. So, you bet that tastes great with blue cheese and buffalo. I really tried, I tried to like them, but then it just became way too sweet! Since the fries were covered too it was just way too much. Not to mention the chicken was way over cooked and the fries were old. So I had to ask from it to be remade. I absolutely hate to do that but I was not happy that they did not come as described. Both the the server and the bus boy told me that the chef said that’s how it’s described in the menu. Um, not what the menu says and please don’t try to make me feel stupid. After another 20 minutes I finally asked to get my order in a to go box since my girlfriend was finished her extremely fishy smelling fish and grossly old broccoli! When we got home I noticed the chicken still had freaking honey on it! I wish that I had a chance to meet the chef who apparently has a honey bottle surgically attached to their hand and they must add honey! What a bizarre experience! Oh and by the way, I looked at the menu on my phone at the tablets well as one at the hostess stand on the way out… no where does it say drizzled with honey!

Came here for Veterans Day! Had ordered the Jack Daniels BBQ Burger. Pretty good as always. Service was mixed. Some good things and bad. The Fried Onions on the Burgers was amazing. The fries were normal. Not bad for a free meal.

I never post but this was so bad I broke out my camera to show the poor quality food I received. Shame on me for ignoring the 2 star ratings(I was starving) I ordered 2 salads and 3 appetizers for $ 50 to go… Well the pictures speak for themselves.

I’m not one to write a negative review but to save others from having to become one with the toilet, do NOT come here. ordered: Friday’s shrimp, Fish and Chips and two beers. Friday’s shrimp tasted nothing but grease and oil. No seasoning. Looked just like frozen shrimp out of costco’s box. Not having it. Fish and Chips was nothing but soft soggy batter. No flavor or seasoning. Fries were cold. Beer: flat and and took over 10 mins on a slow evening. Might I add, was seating at the bar. The only positive thing was the bartender and server being courteous. Always pleasant speaking with those with manners.

It had been years since I had been to a TGI Fridays. And this visit reminded me of when they used to have Flair. This visit had little Flair. And left me wanting more than what I got. When we walked in, there was not a host at the podium. None of the staff who walked bt greeted us to say that someone would be right with us. After about 5 – 7 minutes at the podium we caught someone’s attention and asked if we were supposed to seat ourselves. Nope… not the case. We finally got seated and it seemed like an endless amount of time before someone came to our table. Turns out that the staff was switching shifts… because we had seen our server walk in while we were waiting for a host at the podium. The server was excellent once we had one. The food was ok. The most memorable part of my meal was the Avocado Balsamic Salad dressing, which was surprisingly super tasty. That I was wondering if I could find something similar in a bottle at a store. Or even if I was brave enough to scrounge around in Pintrest to find a recipe to make this flavor of salad dressing. When we left the restaurant the line of people waiting to get seated was shocking. Getting to this location is a little awkward driving down a road that twists and turns a few times.

Came here for lunch. They have a special on appetizers. We upgraded to $ 12 a person which means we can choose whatever appetizers on the menu. The normal deal is $ 10 for endless appetizers which were limited. I started off with the loaded potato skins. Those were gross. Deep fried greasy skins with cheddar cheese and bacon bits on it. Blah! I only ate a few and couldn’t finish it! Too greasy for me! The next one I got were the potstickers which were pretty good! It came with the dipping sauce! We got another order of that! That is how much we like them. My hubby got the mozzarella cheese sticks which were oozing out with melted mozzarella. Yum! He also got Parmesan chicken bites which were moist and tasty with Parmesan on it. Delicious! The bbq chicken flat bread was tasty. Bbq sauce, shreds of chicken, melted cheese, green onions and green and red peppers on top. This one was good as well. It had a thin crust but loaded on top! The ones I didn’t care for was the miso chicken and the ghost pepper chicken bites. Miso sauce tasted weird and sour! I don’t care for spicy either. The service was ok. Took awhile for our food to come out. The waitress actually spilled some ranch on the table. Good thing it didn’t get on me or I would have gotten upset. She apologized. She gave us more napkins and ranch dressing. She also gave me another refill of my iced tea. I was getting thirsty too. Good thing she gave me another iced tea. This place used to be good but quality isn’t what it used to be. It’s an okay place. We hardly come here anymore.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Who in their right mind eats at T.G. I Friday’s anymore? Seriously! If there was an apocalypse, and T.G.I was the only restaurant that had free food to give away, I would NOT be in line to eat here. I would rather starve to death or be fed to the Zombies. This restaurant has the SLOWEST, SLOWEST, SLOWEST service ever. Everyone’s food took close to a good hour for it to come out, and it wasn’t great. Bleh! I do not in my lifetime ever plan to eat here EVER again. The last and final time was when I felt forced to eat here a year ago to meet old coworkers that I had not seen for years for dinner. I was outvoted on the location and I dragged my feet upon coming here. They chose this place because it was central and cheap. I was hungry and ordered a salmon with a side of salad and it tasted as if it was microwaved. There was no seasoning and I was not surprised at how disappointing my meal was. To my friends; I get to chose the next dinner group date location. I outright refuse to eat here again.

This place went from a 3 because of the service to a 4 because of the food! With that being said, my sister, her boyfriend, and I arrived around 6pm because that’s during their happy hour. Granted, there is a separate menu with specials starting at $ 5 that is considered an all day happy hour, so there’s no designated time. It is much smaller, though. As we get there, we immediately seat ourselves at the bar. The first thing that made this visit a 3-star experience is the fact that both of the females at the bar weren’t very helpful at first. We got our menus, then when we asked for other happy hour specials, all they pointed to were the 4−7pm regular ones. Then, we asked about the«happy hour every hour,» and they remembered to give us that menu, also. Both of them were giving us different answers when it came to this, so the miscommunication was confusing. They rarely smiled also. I felt as if anything we asked them was such a task. Later on, we got our food and drinks and that’s what made the visit well worth it. I had forgotten how amazing food at TGIF is! When I was younger, as in 10 or so years ago, my family would always, always, always go to TGIF at least once a month. I’m glad to know that the food hasn’t changed. I think anything smothered in a Jack Daniel’s BBQ sauce is bound to taste like heaven.

First we waited 15 min to get a table for 4. This place doesn’t staff well. We saw rows of tables available but couldn’t sit there because no one was working the tables. There were a lot of people in the lobby with a ton of open tables for most of the night. That probably wouldn’t be a problem if the wait staff could work serve in good timing. 15 min to get dinks to the table. Waited another 10 min for the waiter to take the order. Then, no joke, waited over 30 min for our food to come. I was ready to walk out. Overall slow service. Got in at 7:15, started eating around 8:15. Way too slow. The best thing about this place was the playlist playing. Definitely not the corporate playlist, that’s the only thing I enjoyed about the place.

Definitely a terrible location for a Friday’s. It’s way back in corporate park hell, and good luck finding it without GPS if it’s your first trip. Second strike against it is the service. This was quite possibly the slowest customer service we’ve ever experienced in San Diego. We sat there a good 10 minutes before we even saw the hostess again so we could ask her if we could expect a server anytime soon. And she acted like it was a huge inconvenience we would even bother her with such an outrageous request. We found this staff to be exceptionally rude and unwelcoming. We aren’t big on chains, and we only went here because someone gave us a gift card, so given the way we were treated, I don’t see any reason to return.

The food is laughable and overpriced. The potato skins looked like the ones you’d buy at the grocery store and pop in the microwave. 60 cents extra for sour cream… okay… Drinks are SUPERWEAK, but oh so expensive. Got my salad but no dressing so had to wait to flag down my waiter and then wait some more while they had to go get it. I understand accidents happen but the extra sour cream I paid for came way after I was already finished with the potato skins… but yep still had to pay for them! I hate myself for spending money here.

So here’s the truth, if given the choice, I would never say — let’s go to Friday’s! On average, the food is pretty mediocre — even for chain restaurant standards. But the menu is pretty vast for picky eaters and happy hour prices are pretty fair. My friends and I had a girls night out and opted for the convenience of Fridays. We arrived at 6pm on Thursday and I’d estimate that the restaurant was, at most, 10−15% full. Based on that, we didn’t think we would need to wait for a table but was then told it would be about 10 minutes because they ran out of menus. Isn’t that odd for a large chain? We decided to wait at the bar to grab a drink where only 2 other people were there. The bartender was really friendly but it took about 20 min for us to order 4 cocktails and get our bill. Slow as molasses… Once seated our server came by to greet us. We asked for a few minutes to look over the menu but didn’t see him again for about 15 min. When he finally came by again, we barely were able to place our orders in time before happy hour ended at 7pm. Our food came by fairly quick afterwards, the server checked back in 5 minutes later and then proceeded to disappear until we were able to flag him down to get the check — which was another 20 minute fiasco. Don’t get me wrong, he was nice but either they were understaffed or he was too new to be serving his own sections. As for the food — I ordered the Happy Hour fries and BBQ Chicken Flatbread. The fries were well seasoned but cold and limp. The Flatbread was descent but tasted more like a Thai Peanut Flatbread instead of BBQ. Food and service were no bueno and the only saving grace for the night were happy hour prices and good company.
