I got a 2 person hot tub for a gift and have been testing and using chemicals on my own. I am truly ignorant on maintaining a hot tub. I came in this store for certain chemicals to straighten out the chemicals per a chemical reading strip. Before I even bought any, some recommendations were made for me to try for a week. If it didn’t adjust the readings, I was provided a water sample bottle in which I could bring in a sample of my hot tub water for free testing and recommendations. This is 5 Star customer service in my book and I will now shop in this store for all my hot tub needs in the future.

This company bills fraudulently for work that they don’t perform. They also tore the cover to my pool and did not tell me. When the issue was brought to the owner’s attention he took no responsibility and told me «don’t get your panties in a wad.»
I continued to receive bills for the next few months. Each time I called I was told that it was the bookkeepers fault and once that it was my fault.
This company is unprofessional and you should run away.

Have been shopping at Swimquip since 1982, when they were at their old location on Mission Gorge Rd.
Ownership has knowledge plus on pools and spas. Have an issue, just go in and ask. Always willing to assist, even if you do not make a purchase. Privately owned which helps as they are not high pressure, in fact No Pressure to buy. Prices are normal for the type of products. I maintain my own pool, and not very handy, they are always there to help be it a pump issue or algae problem.
