THis company should receive a Zero rating. Once I placed the order, I received an order confirmation then, I don’t hear from them anymore. I called their 844 and also the local number but it always has a recording that the party is unavailable. I did not receive my order nor I tried to log back in but regardless how many times I reset my password, their website won’t allow me to go in. Have to submit a dispute to the credit card company and give the company a bad rating on BBB.

Placed order, never received. Called twice, no answer and no return phone call. Sent e: mail, no reply. Had to dispute charge with credit card company. Should of checked with Unilocal and BBB, my bad, don’t let it be yours

I would rate lower if I could. Terrible product and terrible customer service. I bought 1 box of 10 Tonkin Bamboo Poles and thankfully no more. They were split and not even close to the size I ordered, in diameter.
I have a large project that I would have used them for a vendor, but no way! They told me they would give me a partial refund, then wouldn’t honor it. Probably since I demanded a full refund since the measurements of what I ordered was off. How do get away with charging a customer for 2″ diameter rods and only send 1″ to 1−5″? If I wanted those sizes, I would have ordered them!
When I disputed the charge with my bank, Sunset Bamboo disputed any refund. Such crooks! Now I have a box of their product storing away unused. Such a waste.

Totally unimpressed with the service. Ordered and paid and told it would ship in two days. Eleven days later and it still hadn’t even left the site. Cancelled the order and ordered the same fencing from another outfit for 20% less, much lower shipping cost and it was shipped the same day.
Their website is a mess also. Should have know that in this day and age that that would be a sign of how the business runs.
About the only thing Sunset Bamboo did right was cancel my order. I think.
