I was looking for a coffee shop to post up and get some work done when I stumbled on this place. Upon entering, I knew I would like it. The ambiance is great. Old school coffee shop with plenty of tables to get some stuff done. Bring your laptop and get it done. The baristas are friendly and know their stuff. The coffee is great. Of course, there is WiFi. There is also some outdoor seating. I am looking forward to going back!

Nice tranquil little caffe spot on 30th. As a first time customer here I liked the quaint rustic look they where going for. If I may suggest maybe having printed menus, as I was looking over the menu I noticed a line forming behind me at the register so I felt rushed and did not really get to really make a choice of foods I wanted and just went with something I knew I could not hate(waffles). Also if they could install a screen door as I was constantly swatting bugs away, at one point one landed on my avocados. Other than that I highly suggest their food as it was very well prepared and tasted delicious. The food and staff get 5 stars.

Just wanted to give them some 5 star love for always being so awesome. The staff here is like nothing you’ll see at a coffee place, ever. Their so friendly and will go above and beyond to ensure you’re happy with your order.

I stopped by here because the iced tea I got at another coffee shop wasn’t doing me any good, and I was hungry for some real food for breakfast(not sure what I was thinking when I ordered unsweetened iced tea and thought I would call it a breakfast. I was ravenous!!) Anyway glad I was passing by this place. Cannot believe my awesome smoothie was like only 5 bucks! It came with strawberries, banana and just the right amount of peanut butter. YUM: D I think it was called the mashup smoothie. Great way to start my day! They have plenty of indoor seatings and a few outdoor ones, it wasn’t crowded at all at like 9am on a Sunday, which was awesome.

This is my current favorite place to study in North Park, San Diego. I stumbled upon this magical place as the yoga studio I was trying out for two weeks was less than one block away. It looks unassuming from the outside but once you step inside you’re instantly transported to a cozy humble coffee shop. It feels very earthy and homey with the wooden tables and décor. I ordered a black iced coffee($ 3) which is my standard drink at any coffee shop and I have to say the one here is quite delicious. It has a smooth freshly roasted flavor tempered by just the right amount of bitterness that I enjoy with a black iced coffee. So yummy and you get that awesome caffeine buzz! The music isn’t too loud so I find that I’m able to concentrate pretty well when I study here. Also, parking is fairly good as there are always spots in the neighborhood behind the store. The wifi is pretty good too with more than enough outlets so definitely bring a book or laptop and get some work done on the book you’ve always wanted to write!(I was finally able to decide that my main character likes to wear hats!)

Good food but had to wait 30 mins to have it brought to us. I’d recommend ordering ahead of time.

This place has been my #1 study spot in North Park for a while. Even though I tend to like modern and European look interior with marble and grey walls when it comes to the coffee shop, this place definitely wins on the cozy, quiet, and welcoming atmosphere. WIFI: Super fast wifi. PARKING: Street Parking right outside the boutique. There are plenty of street parking on the back of the shop which are located in a neighborhood. ATMOSPHERE: Music not too loud. They have a guitar on the wall and a book corner next to the hanging sandwich menu. Staffs are friendly. Clean and big restroom. Nice sofa next to the door. Soft seated chairs with a table facing the outside of the coffee shop. Study lamps on some of the tables.(These tables have hard seated chairs) FAVORTIESEAT: When I really need to get some work done, I would be seating facing the outside this café. It has great sunshine, and it is not noisy so you won’t be hearing tons of cars passing by. I love the tables with the study lamps. Feels so homey: D FOOD/DRINKS: Vegan friendly choices available on the menu. The veggie bagel sandwich is really delicious. Tasty lattes!

I come here frequently as I work nearby and am always satisfied. I’m a big fan of their coconut chai(have to give bonus points to a coffee place that has both coconut and almond milk!) and their lemon poppyseed muffins are on point. They also have a rewards program, which is great for us frequent visitors! :)

My favorite coffee shop! The coffee and teas are delicious. There is a large selection of pastries and sandwiches, fluffy eggs and delicious muffins and waffles! Vegan friendly items are on the menu as there is something for everyone. I just love the staff! I’m always greeted with a smile. Always a positive experience!

Super yummy place! Their strawberry lemonade was amazing and I ordered the waffle breakfast but they ran out of waffles by that time:(however I was able to substitute it with a chocolate croissant and it tasted delicious. Overall an amazing experience really loved it!

The food is fantastic and their coffee is great! This place has now moved to my number one coffee shop. They have a great selection in food for vegan/vegetarian and is delicious. They have a great selection if you are a carnivore ;-). I will be coming back for more coffee and hangout with my friends!

Great and friendly staff. I tried to take my friends to Holsem Coffee one day, but really felt unwelcomed and walked out(please reference my Holsem Coffee review). So I took them here for breakfast. And walked in and was greeted right away. It can really make a difference. Get the Iced Rose Chai Latte. It is so good. My second recommendation would be the Mexican Chocolate latte with a little whip cream on top. For me they were really sweet, so I recommend adding water or letting the ice melt a little. I ordered the vegan bagel. It has hummus, lettuce, and onion. It was good just a little messy when you eat it. The ambience is really nice and cozy inside. They have books for you to purchase on their shelf as well. They also accept apple pay which is really cool.

Not too bad but not amazing. I came here a little while back for a late breakfast and some coffee. Upon entering you notice how small the interior seating area is and the artwork for sale of the wall; pretty cool setup. I approached the register and two employees were behind the counter chatting it up, not one even batted an eye in my direction. When the girl working the register either finally noticed my 6’3″ frame standing at the register or decided to take a breather from her long winded conversation, she finally asked what I wanted to order. I ordered their breakfast burrito and a cold brew. I paid, got my cold brew and sat down at a nice and crumb riddled table. Food and drink time. The cold brew was pretty good but mine seemed to be a little watered down(no it wasn’t due to the ice melting). All in all not too shabby. Burrito: pretty bomb. The eggs were nice and fluffy and the bacon, sausage, tomato and cheese, all cradled by a flour tortilla, added nice flavor with each bite. Of course I paid the extra $ 1 to add guacamole cuz I’m a Californian and that’s my damn right!(srs). The homemade salsa wasn’t salsa at all. Maybe they gave me the wrong stuff but it was a marinara sauce mixed with something else. It didn’t taste bad or anything but when I eat a burrito I want hot sauce and it damn well better be hot! I’d give this place a 4 star rating if the service was a bit better but hey, can’t win them all!

Small, simple, awesome food and coffee! I really like their iced latte here. The ratio of milk to espresso is just right to my taste — not too bitter or burnt tasting. Their drinks are reasonably priced. They have a nice atmosphere for those looking to study with plenty of outlets, but limited seating. Their sandwiches were heavenly and not too expensive like most cafes. Overall, this is a great neighborhood coffee joint for those looking for good coffee without the pretentiousness.

They have the best smoothies! I always get the Very Berry & Mango smoothies. They are 16 fl oz & $ 4.25. The price could be a liiiiittle better, but the service is good & the smoothies are fresh! No complaints here. Delicious!

came to get some work done on a hot afternoon. Ordered the iced Mexican Mocha: it was delicious, chocolatey-cinnamon is just strong enough. There are power plugs in different spots. I would love to return and try other coffee drinks. They are on MOGL!

Cute little coffee shop to grab a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. Ladies that work the register and very nice and accommodating. I requested my breakfast sandwich to be on croissant instead of a bagel, she gladly said«of course» without any extra charges. I also tried one of their cranberry scones, it came warmed up and it was pretty tasty, it big enough to share. There are tons of new trendy and hipster-ish coffee shops in the area but this is not one of them, it feels cozy, inviting and good to study.

Trying to go eat at WOWWOWWAFFLES always leads me eating brunch elsewhere. Its always so packed or closed at WOWWOWWAFFLES. So on 6÷20÷15, my roomie and i ended up eating here for breakfast since its a couple blocks down from WOWWOW. I ordered the waffle w/eggs, bacon, cheese & avocado and an ice coffee. Not bad… the waffle was a little rough… The setting is cute… vinyl records on the wall with picnic tables and wooded high chairs… Will come back to try their pastries :)

Santi and I were looking for a wifi café and came across this local spot on Unilocal.Living up to its name, the understated exterior could be lost in view when tucked behind the sun umbrellas. However, the dim lighting, soft music, flat screen TV, plenty of tables and plugs, and a captive laptop audience made it a conducive place to think and write. The vibe was warm, laid back, and hipsterish. They carried a selection of baked goods(some gluten free), beers, waffles, fancy latte drinks and teas. The Iced Rose and Cherry Green Tea($ 2.50) came bolstered with discernable rose and cherry flavors with a hint of vanilla in the final note. The tea had a perfect amount of ice and good concentration of flavor without it being overpowering. Loved it. The Decaf Espresso Lavender Latte with Almond Milk($ 3.75) had a sweet lavender flavor that did not compete with those of almond milk. The latte was smooth, airy, and worked as a dessert drink. The Decaf Espresso Rose Chai Latte with Almond Milk($ 4.25) came with distinct rose flavor, light airy chai, and smooth almond milk. I have had better chai, but the combination of flavors mixed well with two shots of decaf espresso. Service on multiple occasions was kind, responsive, as their staff took the time and customized our drinks to perfection. Happy hour, from 4−7pm(Monday-Friday), costs $ 3, $ 4, and $ 5 for beer, wine, and cocktail, respectively. A great place for laptop work and people watch. I would be very interested in coming back to try their arrays of cookies, brownies, and gluten free carrot cake.
