Too bad you can’t give this business a big fat ZERO because they completely deserve it… I bought my fiancé a two hour massage and facial Groupon for Christmas. I called Studio Spa multiple times in the past months and there was no response, not to mentioned they have their main phone disconnected. The Groupon is now expiring and I hope Groupon themselves can refund me.

I wish there was a lower rating to choose. I received a massage as a gift from my boyfriend but when I tried to call to schedule a appointment I got no response from leaving a message I also sent a email through the website with no response and when I tried to call again someone picked up the phone and then proceeded to hang up on me, when I called back they continuously sent me to voice mail this is the worst costumer service I have ever received from any spa I have gone to I would not recommend wasting your time with this company.

I would prefer to give this business zero stars to match the zero services they provided me. My husband purchased a Groupon for me to get two hours of relaxing spa services following my unexpected C-section when our daughter was born. I called the number listed on the Groupon and discovered it had been disconnected. I went on Studio Spa’s website and found another phone number listed. I called and left multiple voicemails(by the way, there was no outgoing voicemail so I had to assume it was the correct number for the Spa) that were never returned. I discovered that I could make a reservation online. I received an email confirming my appointment, to which I responded to make sure I could use my Groupon for the appointment. I did not receive an email back. Two days before the scheduled appointment I received an email that my reservation was cancelled and there was no phone number listed. Again, I responded to this email in hope of reaching someone. No one responded. I went back to their website to attempt to reschedule and there were no appointments available in the foreseeable future. Not to mention my Groupon would be expiring a short time later. I contacted Groupon and they issued me a refund(thank you, Groupon!). They might have great services but one would never know. What a disappointment.

So impressed with the friendly services received. My massage got the job done, but even more so was my deep exfoliation facial. My skin felt brand new when I left! I was given recommendations for skin products which I always appreciate. A $ 90 facial & massage combo for an hr each during the week is a steal they offer. I will be treating myself as often as I can!

This review is based solely on the fact that you can’t even call to schedule an appt. I tried months ago also and they use a voicemail as a receptionist and then nobody calls back. Now the phone goes straight to a full voicemail.

I believe your words were that you receive less commissions through groupon. I understand the extenuating circumstances which is why we moved around all of our activities awaiting your response. I sent two texts Sunday and this one at 9:42AM yesterday: I have texted twice, called four times and left a voicemail. We flew in from Texas and are planning our week around accommodating whatever schedule you all have. I would sincerely appreciate a timely response. Only to hear back at 5pm yesterday afternoon. Bottom line, I could have at least gotten a phone call or a text confirming you were receiving my correspondence and following up with the therapist. When we spoke Saturday, I was not informed of you’re closing all day Sunday. I made all attempts possible to no avail. Irregardless of the unforeseen circumstances, it ultimately falls on the business owner to communicate with clientele and that did not happen whatsoever.

I had reserved a couples massage for my girlfriend on her birthday, 1 week in advance, and was cancelled on the same day through a voicemail. I attempted to contact studio spa four times and left a voicemail after receiving this news. It has been a week since this happened and I have yet to be contacted.

I would give ZERO star if there’s a choice. I received text massage and email notice that I have a 5:00pm appointment today. I spent some time to find the place. This is Ok. I arrived at 4:50, and tried to knock the door. No one answered. So I was keeping waiting, and I thought maybe they will open the door just at 5:00 Pm. I was waiting for 20 minutes, no response at all. They must forget my appointment without notice me! IT’S TOTALLYWASTEMYTIME! I had a good mood before come here and hope to relax from spa. I left voice message, hope their«fantastic customer service» can call me back!

Very pleasant and unforgettable experience! I haven’t had many facials in my life but this one has to be the best ever! I took advantage of Groupon to try this place and was not disappointed. The location happens to be very close to where I live but I have to say it’s kind of in a strange place and could be decorated better. On the other hand I got a great education from the owner Valerie about skin care products before she even started the facial. Then the facial itself was very soothing. I had never had my face wrapped before like she wrapped it. The steam was a little annoying because it kept going up my nose but she moved it so it stopped doing that. She also cleaned out a pore and told me that pore will never have gunk in it again!!! My skin felt so smooth and silky afterwards. I still feel the effects of it several days later. I definitely recommend this place!

Ok, this place is interesting, but don’t knock it until you try it. Yes, it is in a pretty sketchy location, and inside is kind of ghetto, but once you get past that(and the personality of the frontdesk girl/masseuse) it was pretty darn good, especially for the price I paid(normally $ 54 but I got 20% off during a groupon sale), considering it worked out to be just over $ 20 each for the 1 hour facial and massage. Ok, so, yes, the door was locked, but once you’re inside you will actually appreciate that, because it is sketchy outside. They opened the door right away, and yes the front desk girl was kind of weird, asking me random questions and kind of out of it, but oh well. Also, I had the WHOLE place to myself on a friday at 4pm so no noise concerns. We started at 4:10(appointment was at 4) due to paperwork, but she gave me a FULL hour massage. I told her the points that needed work and she worked on them. Was it the best massage ever? No, but it was pretty good. She did have some weird techniques, and it was a bit painful at times, but I came out feeling a lot better and for $ 20 can I really complain? They do ask you to undress for the massage, and then afterwards they just had me stay there and moved equipment in and the next girl starting working on my face. A little weird, and yes I had to wait, but I was nice and relaxed and it was nice to just stay put. The only thing I didn’t like about the facial was the steam that was constantly blown onto your face, it definately felt suffocating at times, but DANG this was one of the best facials I’ve ever had! She did interrogate me a bit about my skin, but it was kind of nice for her to seem so concerned and then tailor a facial exactly to my needs. She used the steam to open things up, then brushed on a mask, let it sit, scrubbed it with some exfoliator, took it off, then put a moisturizing treatment on, some guaze, and then some oatmeal to let it really soak in. This was actually a little scary, with my face completely covered and the steam still going, but I could FEEL it working! She took that off and put some moisturizer, serum, and a toner on. WOW! Again, for $ 20, I can’t complain at all! Also, she only left one time, and that was to get some hot towels to wrap around my face and take the treatment off. Also, the facial was a full hour as well, despite it meaning they went«over» the designated appointment time, so kudos for that! So, all in all, this place was a definate win for me. It sounds like some people have had issues so I was pretty wary going in, but honestly it was worth every penny and more, and even if they hadn’t come through for me, groupon is amazing about refunds so I would recommend buying a groupon and giving them a shot!

A difficult to find location. Door was locked despite appointment. I’ve had many, many facials but have NEVER been interrogated about my face care routine like I was here!!! Seemed more intimidation than eliciting necessary information. Esthetician kept disappearing during facial. Sort of weird b/c she didn’t hear steamer alarming. However, my Massage therapist was fabulous!

WALKINSAVAILABLE. Drove all the way from alpine and was totally not worth it. Probably one of the worst customer service ever. You would think that if someone was ringing the doorbell, they would answer it. They didn’t even do that. Instead I see a girl watching me while she is folding towels. And it took me 10 minutes to find your stupid door. I will be getting my money back from groupon and never coming back here. Thank you:)

Love love love how my skin feels! Had a great facial yesterday that really made my skin look healthy. It is a bummer that you have to wait in the parking lot until your appointment time, but I just sat in my car. She got there a few minutes before my appointment was suppose to start. Anyway, what I liked most about this place is she didn’t try to sell me over priced lotions and cleansers like so many of the spas do now. She told me about some products I could buy at CVS that would be right for me. Then my facial lasted about an hour and 45 min. She did the works and even threw in an extraction. She removed a blemish not even my dermatologist could get. Her products are natural and she told me about some things I could buy at the grocery store that could help my skin. I will be back!

This is the second time where I have to reschedule an appointment with this place. No one ever answers the phone even if you leave a message with a call back number. I received a text and email reminding me about my appointment yesterday for today. I showed up on time. Rang the door bell and knocked. No one answered. It wasn’t open. I left 2 voice mails and still waited about 45 mins in the parking lot in hope someone would answer. It came to the point I called living social for a refund and they are awesome and complied with my request. As far as studio spa, they have the worst customer service. I wouldn’t come here and just pay extra to go to a professional.

I used a Living Social for a 60 minute facial. The facial was fine, but the location was less than desirable. First, hard to find and second, unless the proprietor is there, you are forced to wait out in the parking lot until she shows up. I definitely would not come here after dark as the parking lot is kind of sketchy.

Had a great experience here! The girls were wonderful and accommodated my husband and I late on the night before our wedding. The massage really helped us to relax at a very stressful time and the facial was great! It helped a big zit shrink significantly before my big day!

My husband and I come down to San Diego for a couples get away and looked up massages on living social and found this spa. My husband and I did the 60 minutes Swedish massage and I did a 60 minute facial. The facial and massage was amazing! If you’re ever in the area and looking for a great spa this is a great, clean, relaxing, and friendly place!

This was my first Thai massage and my first time here. I have walked and driven by many times and am so glad I stopped. Sharon did an awesome job and I loved her energy and approach. I was amazed at how well I felt afterwards, considering I didn’t take any clothing off except my shoes. The spa is clean and modern. The esthetician was very friendly as well. I will definitely be back and recommend to others!
