Starbucks

As much as I go to this Starbucks I can’t believe I have not written a review. Most of my encounters are uneventful however on Veteran’s Day it was special.
My husband and I both were able to get a free coffee on Veteran’s Day and the cashier was very helpful and pleasant.
The register was giving him problems ringing up both of the coffees free however he stated he was going to help us no matter what happened with the cash register.
We received our coffees immediately with a smile and the cashier asked if there was anything else he could do for us as well as he thanked my husband for his service.
What else can I ask for. .good coffee, location and pleasant cashier.

It was inside of a groceries store. It was a messy and not usual Starbucks employees. The menu was limited as well. I gotta gone me a real Starbucks.

Convenient and fairly quick. Parking and drive through can be difficult maneuver through since parking lot so small. Great location

As much as I love Starbucks, the only reason why I choose this particular store, is because it’s more convenient to me. The baristas and staff are almost ALWAYS rude to me. They are always wrapped up in their own conversations and will every so annoyed turn their heads to hear what I ordered. And then back to what they were jabbing about. Even after many attempts on my end to try and make conversation… nothing. I generally don’t make reviews on places, but this is nuts! C’mon you’re Starbucks for heavens sake! Get some customer service going! Dang!

Came in this morning to get a venti iced coffee and at first the guy taking my order was pleasant but it stopes there. Once I paid, him and another guy behind the counter continued with their conversation about movies that are out, while that’s not a problem (I get it they were bored) the problem was the over use of bad language. Dropping the f-​bomb/​s&!+ every other word and jumping on counters (but verbally saying I hope the camera doesn’t catch this) is just flat our rude. Those two need to go back and relearn customer service. if I wanted bad language and bar like behavior I would have ordered a cocktail from a bar not a coffee from a Starbucks counter. Most likely won’t be stoping at this location again.

Worse customer service I have received in a long time. Especially from a Starbucks company. I wonder sometimes how these girls keep their jobs if they cant crack a smile once in a while. But especially when they just have noooo kind of politeness. Im sorry, did I bother you by coming in to order my coffee???

Love this Starbucks and all the employees there. :) The crazies that come in and camp out in the bathroom — not so much. Seriously… what is wrong with those people?

Service is great. The drinks are fabulous. This place is always super busy. It has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. It does get a little messy from time to time, but its cause it is so busy.

Service is great, drinks were made appropriately, indoor seating is good, given the little space that is designed for customers (seating is lined parallel with the windows).
Decent place for studying, but this place needs more power jacks for that if you’re tech-​forward with your own laptop or smart phone. Bring your own back up battery, just in case.
This Starbucks feels calmer than most, but it could be the caffeine they serve that is playing tricks on me!

Hopefully I have the correct Starbucks but from my experience most any location that is inside another store ie. Vons, Target etc… is crap. I normally drink a latte or cappucino sometimes if I need a pick me up will go with the americano w/​half the water since it’s straight espresso shots w/​a bit of water and how do you mess that up? Well they still manage to make it taste nasty and on top of that service is just not up to par as the actual Starbucks location.

I reviewed the wrong Starbucks! I was talking about the one on the corner, in the shopping center, of Gennesee and Balboa. As someone else pointed out, this one is inside the Albertson’s grocery store at the opposite end of the shopping center.

I come here to meet people, I drink the hot apple juice but I don’t drink coffee… so maybe I don’t «deserve» to write a review. HOWEVER, their service is SO BAD. You’ll stand at the cash register while the guy counts out money an hour before closing and ignores you. They’ll start cleaning and breaking stuff down over an hour before closing. They rudely (in a very rude tone every time) announce they’ll be closing in 15 mins, so basically get the heck out of there asap! They always have attitude no matter who rings me up. It’s seriously ridiculous.

I learned something at the Starbucks drive-​thru this past week. I now know that a venti caramel macchiato is 300 calories. I’d suspected that the drink was closer to 500. This along with the other items listed on the drive thru board have their calorie counts shown. My caramel macchiato was fine and on par with any I’ve ever had from Starbucks. The barista at the window was quick. Before this time, I’ve never seen this location’s parking lot too crowded. That might change soon b/​c another Alberto’s taco shop’ll be opening up soon next door.

Normally I wouldn’t review a starbucks… let alone take the time to add it to the database. but seriously, i love this starbucks within the balboa vons and have been thoroughly impressed on the numerous occasions ive visited.
Every time I come for a coffee in the morning (7:10ish weekdays, around 8:30−9 on weekends) there is no line, they make my order ridiculously fast and… get this… it actually tastes really good. not burnt! not too sweet! it’s shocking, I know. AND it’s a grocery store starbucks. like… wtf. It’s a total no frills experience for times when you just want to grab your caffeine and go.
I won’t name names but everything about the coffee competitive 20 feet away is the polar opposite. i hate going to other nameless coffee shop.

To go further, this location (and maybe all vons starbucks?) is giving out receipts for ANY free tall beverage if you fill out a quick survey online (like 4 questions). And then, when you cash in the free drink they give you ANOTHER survey receipt. I have now collected 5 free drinks in a row. WHEN WILL THE FREE CAFFEINE MADNESS END! I
i have no idea but it’s pretty awesome. Something about payback for not accepting gift cards there?
