Starbucks

I used to go to this Starbucks almost every morning for the past 5 – 6 years, but since they hire this lady, her name is Daisy most of the time she is in the morning, she is rude, it feels like she is forced to be there. I like everyone else, the manager Kate she is awesome and Mike and Rob, but this lady she is always on rude mood and barely smiles. Ever since I been going just occasionally during noon time.

Quick and simple though if you use your phone’s map it doesn’t direct you to the store’s parking lot. The staff is nice and the service is pretty quick.

I was just in my favorite Starbucks at 32^nd and university where I’m always treated fabulously and there was a lady being totally rude and totally mean to my great Starbucks people because she didn’t wear her glasses and couldn’t see her name on her mobile order sitting on the counter waiting for her… So she took it out on them… So unhappy with people who treat our Starbucks barista ‘s like that… this is the best Starbucks I’ve ever been to… it’s my favorite and they always treat everyone great… so for Sarah who is in there being rude put your damn glasses on and leave my peeps alone!

Just typical Starbucks … Nothing of wow or out of ordinary so not deserving of 4 or 5 stars. 3 stars is average.

I always go to Starbucks because I love their blended coffee and this is the first time I went here and the first time I got really disappointed. I am never a picky person, but the Caramel Brulee Frappuccino they gave me is very bitter and I cannot taste any sweetness to it. I first thought that maybe it is just the first taste, but it got more bitter later on. It is just horrible.

This place has no idea of what customer services is they get your orders wrong… they don’t know how to organize or make drinks well, it’s a hit and miss when you go in there… nothing but bad experience when I go on there it is not the first time it happened several times at this location and get my orders wrong and my drinks. I suggest buy a cappuccino machine and don’t give them your money and save they’re overrated anyway… I will no longer give them my business…

Very bummed. I popped into this Starbucks and I just didn’t feel the «oohh» & «ahhh» that I normally get when I step in. Décor seemed outdated, it’s tiny… just ugh…

Cool place with a very friendly staff.
I enjoy the speediness and the professionalism here. Baristas here have a sense of urgency and that’s always good to see on a busy morning.
Mike is very friendly and always starts a conversation as he makes drinks. I appreciate that! Kate and Patrick are also some of my favorites.

Thursday at 1:00pm Waiting 10 minutes for service during lunch time with only two working oh the third is in the back and when I stated ice to the rim it doesn’t mean ¼ of a cup of ice especially after the customer (me) said it twice. No line by the way. I would of given a five star but today this location is off there game. I thought you make the drink according to the customers liking. hmm not today.

Everything inside the store is great… service etc. It’s outside that SUCKS! I’ve never been to a more dirty starbucks ever. Trash is everywhere, it’s disgusting. It’s worse than any other store I’ve been to in Northpark. North park is supposed to be better than this. The trash really makes your company look like it doesn’t care about the neighborhood, just $$.

Worst service I’ve ever received at a Starbucks. So today (sat August 29, 2015) my cousin and I go for early drink before heading out to LA. We stopped by at this Starbucks which is not our norm. We were the only customers at the store at that time and had one order a grande cold brew coffee, a grande chi and a spinach wrap. The cashiers was completely inattentive and rushed us through the order. So they call out the the ice cold brew (no name of course the cashier never asked) and the spinach wrap. At this time there were 2 other clients who had placed and order and were chatting it up with the barista. Well he went ahead and prepared these 2 pals of his and totally forgot or chose to by pass the iced chi. Once these girls were gone (barista made dinner plans to see them soon btw) I said we are Missing a chi. With a snarky attitude he
Said one minute and literally that’s how long it took to make it. There was no apology or acknowledgment.

Reviewing any Starbucks seems redundant as they are EVERYWHERE and the quality of the drinks, along with the variety, are pretty much the same nationwide. With that being said, I usually like to judge a specific location by specific factors: the cleanliness, how well a specific store utilizes its location and community, and (most importantly) their staff.
Cleanliness (5): This Starbucks is clean for a large part of the day. The bathrooms are usually immaculated granted you don’t follow after some one after a «bad time» in North Park. The store’s small size works toward its advantage as well and half the seating is outside. Less to clean=easier to stay clean.
Location, location, location (2): In terms of location for the sake of profit, this store is highly visible and can be seen pretty much when you get off of University on the corner. Probably great for the corporate big wigs. In terms of the average day Unilocaler such as you and I, there are some drawbacks. North Park has a plethora of locations whose quality can outclass Starbuck’s standards while keeping some presidents in your wallet at the same time. Considering the neighborhood and how close this location is to the freeway, the site can attract some… unwanted squatters and patrons as well. There have been some times where I have tried to use the bathroom after one of these individuals, and decided to hold it in while I walked to a restaurant or bar nearby. I should add that, like almost all Starbucks locations, they have a cork board promoting local events. Considering the store is in the heart of NP, local events are easy enough to find.
Staff (5): The staff here have to be the best part. After only the second time buying something from here a week into moving to NP, half the baristas had memorized my name and what I had drank last time. They’ll also be quick with a joke for you and seem to always be willing to ask about a book you’re reading or comment on how they like a bag you’re carrying. Of course, if you want to just order and GTFO like I did on one particular rainy day, the staff at this location are quick to pick that up and do their best to get you in and out.

Staff is so friendly! It’s become a part of my daily routine… Paola is a rockstar!

I’d usually give Starbucks a 5 star because it is my favorite place in the world!!! However, this time I’m only giving it a 3 star because someone stole my coffee (not sure why anybody would do that) and then it took me another 5 minutes to get a new one. I’ve always wondered why Starbucks has the trust system in place — they just say a name out loud and assume the correct person will just pick up the food.
Anyway, drink a iced coffee with caramel next time you go. it’s by far the best drink.

I love starbucks!!! I recently tried and loved it. All thanks to my hubby. My fav is Pralines Frappacino… yummyyyyyyyyy…I can have this all day and I really dont care about the location. All I care is I want a perfect frappacino with whipping cream! woah!

Been coming here for years and have always had a good experience. The staff is always very nice and hustle. I’d give them 5 stars for service, but never had anything from Starbucks that’s 5 star worthy. For Starbucks, this one’s at the top.

Not my favorite starbucks in the world, sometimes the lighting makes me feel sad when I go in there (that just makes me a crazy person, perhaps! haha) Location seems to need a bit of an upgrade, but I keep going back because it’s close by and on the way to work.
I do have to say though, the baristas are the best! They really remember you and this morning, Taylor did an awesome job chatting with me and being really friendly. She did such a good job that I am writing a review… for a starbucks… in san diego… you get the point. Excellent job! Thank you!!!

I’ve been here several times on my way to work… and every time I stop in the staff is friendly and speedy. This morning was no different. I walked in and there was only 1 person in line. What a relief! While waiting, I was looking over the refrigerator area, debating to myself if I should also pick out breakfast. In particular, Greek yogurt with Berries Parfait. Nonfat greek yogurt, strawberries, blueberries, and granola. 6.1 ounces, 14 grams of protein. $ 3.45 Pricey! I know. But, I was already here, and I needed something scrumptious in my tummy.
The young woman taking my order was very polite… and she was in a happy mood. I like happy people!!! I ordered my usual. Caffe Latte with Skim Milk and 3 packets of honey. The Barista (Mike) was busy. The woman ahead of me ordered 8 drinks. Never mind, not a relief! I waited for a good 10 minutes. Too long. He was doing the best he can… and was stressing. Especially since immediately after I ordered my Latte, about 10 people walked in. I will admit I was frustrated with the woman ordering so many drinks. How dare she! I know! Ridiculous of me.
I still give this place 5 Stars. Because the Barista was on point. He was stressed. But he focused. Kudos to you! Plus, my Caffe Latte was frothed perfectly! I sprinkle cinnamon, and off I go.
Furthermore, the parking was a beautiful thing. The stars were aligned, the birds were singing, unicorns were galloping…
…You get my point… I found a parking spot off 32^nd.
Just in case you don’t. There is also parking in the back of the building.
