Simply Fresh

I order Simply Fresh through GrubHub and I’m always SO impressed with how delicious and fresh the food is! The tomato bisque soup is amazing… the stuffed tomato… grilled cheese… chicken salad. I also always order enough for a few meals when I do, and it stays fresh.
YUM-​OH.
The only time I don’t like them is when they aren’t taking online orders on GrubHub! ;-) Keep up the good work.

I had the Cali Wrap and it was excellent! They were at a local event and it was really busy so I had ended up having to ask about my order. Other than that, the service was great. It’s a little expensive for a person on a limited budget, luckily there were discount tickets preovided at the event, so I decided to try it.

Food was alright, the wait was unreasonable. Ordered a panini that was just marinara and cheese, took fifteen minutes with people who ordered after me getting their sandwiches and wraps before I got mine. We usually ignore this truck at work and while it’s not bad food it’s not good enough for the time and money to make me want to try it again.

So a good friend of mine was raving about this tomato soup and cheese sandwich he got from a food truck that had coleslaw in it… He couldn’t remember the name of the truck so I started googling «coleslaw cheese sandwich» let me just say that I’m soooooo happy I did. The soup and sandwich rocked my world more than Blake griffin rocks the rim.
This is my go to spot. Do yourself a favor and track this mother effing truck down and don’t forget about the peanut butter cups.

Holy crap. What a killer Cuban sandwich. All the staff rock, and they will customize almost anything they can. I also recommend the chicken parm and the tomato soup!

Simply Fresh was at our San Diego 48 Hour Film Project Kickoff last night and OH MY GOODNESS!!! I had the Diego Grilled Cheese and it was incredibly delicious. The slaw on the sandwich is perfection. I added the tomato basil soup, too, which was flavorful and the best combo with the grilled cheese. Blake is fantastic and I am so glad he was available for the Kickoff! We will be calling again for our next event! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Awesome service! In person customer care is on point, the deliveries are timely and FREE! The food is amazing and great for anyone one, meat loves, vegetarians, and vegans a like, even gluten-​free accommodating!

One of my absolute favorite food trucks in SD. Fresh ingredients, amazing staff, all around perfection. Highly recommend the San Diego style grilled cheese with the tomato basil soup, a delicious combination. Their California club wrap is also particularly tasty. Overall you cannot go wrong with Simply Fresh.

My kids are picky and LOVE their cuban sandwiches. Since I don’t eat meat, I tried the grilled cheese with slaw, which I usually hate, but there coleslaw on the grilled cheese is PHENOMINAL!

Yummy food! The grilled cheese and tomato soup is incredible. And the chicken Parmesan is to die for! We met Blake, the owner. He is the happiest person in the world to serve good quality food and provides great customer service. Very friendly staff. This food truck is located outside of Poor House Brewery on Tuesday night. Come check it out!

I tried he Diego sandwich and the tomato basil soup, deeeee-​lish. At first i was a little iffy on the cole slaw but it was actually a great tasty addition to the sandwich. I think next time i’ll ask to add some avo, but the food is wonderful as it! Great customer service, so friendly, and the food came out so fast! I hope we have them back, I’d love to try other things on their menu.

Walking up to this food truck I thought it was a sushi truck with the wave logo and «fresh» concept… Anyway, there’s no sushi here. What they do have is a limited menu consisting of a grilled cheese, BBQ sandwich, and a few wraps. I chose the Cali wrap, but it seemed like most of the other people in line ordered the avocado wrap. My wrap was perfect for lunch with a balance of many flavors and textures.
Not sure if I’d try this truck again because of the lack of menu items, but the wrap was good.

— Perhaps a bit pricey. The same wrap at Whole Foods is a few bucks less.

Simply Fresh catered my wedding reception !! They were simply amazing ! Blake and his staff were wonderful to work with. So polite and so professional. Our guests raved about the food and how good it was. I am so grateful I found them. It was an awesome experience and the hit of the wedding!

Overpriced and under impressed. Unless you have no other choice, eat elsewhere.
First off, the staff was rude and short while taking orders, then food came out overdone and not worth the price we paid. Such a disappointment.

Finally had a chance to enjoy the food from Simply Fresh after it was at my apartment complex last night (La Mirage in Mission Valley). AMAZING food! Blake and his team were super friendly and down to earth. Let me try his homemade tomato basil soup which was also amazing!
I recommend the tuna or bbq pulled pork. Both are done with his own little flare. Def can’t wait to eat here again or even to have them cater a lunch at my office.

Nice quality food coming out of this truck. I was in a pinch for time and wanted to try something new. Menu has a nice balance of selections. Side options could use some help. The staff is very friendly. As soon as I see Cubano, I immediately react. I miss these sandwiches so much living in San Diego. I thought $ 9 + tip for a single truck sandwich was a bit steep, but I get it. Then I’m like damn, I reacted too fast and thinking they’re going to do an Americanized panini style to this. And they did.
I take it to go. Bring it home and it’s still pipping hot. Over done so the bread is hard and a little burnt with a TON of seasoning on the outside of the roll. The rest of the sandwich was pretty good. If you get a sandwich, a drink and a side here, it’s gonna run you at a minimum of $ 15 + tip. Just sees a bit much for getting a sandwich from a truck.

This food truck comes near my work once every two weeks and my coworkers and I were finally able to catch it. First impression was that the menu was amazingly simple.
I went for the California Club (grilled marinated chicken, avocado, tomato, bacon, swiss, alfalfa sprouts, chipotle ranch) on a french roll + the tomato basil soup. The first thing that surprised that the portions were quite small, each sandwich is about $ 8 to $ 9 so I expected it to be larger. Despite this, the sandwich was delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh and worked well together. Paired with an excellent tomato basil soup, I had a good lunch without feeling the food coma afterwards.

Simply Fresh fo sho! I found this food truck by accident. Usually I find them at events. Not the case this time around.
I was at an apartment complex in Mission Valley. The Promenade Rio Vista. Lo n behold parked by the Trelis Wine Bar was this foodie truck.
They make your food fresh as you wait. I ordered The Blast in a wrap. hella good. It was like a bacon wrap. Then the avocado salad. Tasty stuff with the. avocado, tomatos and cukes in a vinagrette dressing.
Since they make each order fresh there could be a bit of a wait time to get your order
While your waiting the staff gives out samples of their soup.
This food truck also advertises home delivery. I may need to explore this option to have them deliver lunch to the office.
They accept credit cards. And also advertise online ordering.
