Shear Vision by Evelyn

Evelyn was awesome! I’ve been wanting to dye my hair blonde for some time now, but have been hesitant on where and who. She was very professional and made me feel overall comfortable about the entire thing. Needless to say, my hair turned out amazing and she got it to the exact shade I wanted. Definitely will be going back!

I have been getting my hair done with Evelyn for about 8 months now… I LOVE LOVE LOVE my hair… finally…
She really cares and makes sure she gets it right… I have not had so many compliments on my hair before she started working on it…
Not only is the color great… the feel of my hair and the products she uses are amazing.
Evelyn truly does a fantastic job and I recommend her to ALL of my friends.

Experience was more like a Shear NIGHTMARE. I had originally contacted Golden Touch Salon and mentioned Patrick. But the receptionist had me book an appointment with Evelyn. I had specifically said I wanted a red and purple ombré and a simple side sweep bang trim. Over the phone Evelyn had said she has done tons of red and purple. I read her Unilocal reviews and StyleSeat reviews and they were all 5 stars. Now i think they were written by friends and family.
She completely RUINED my hair and she still made me pay full price even tho she KNEW she had done a horrible job and i let her know that i was not satisfied.
The red came out OK, not what was expected, and the purple did NOT come out purple at all. It was more of a dark dookie brown. She kept trying to convince me my hair looked fine even tho I said multiple times it was not. I’m sure the products she used is great, no doubt, but she just isn’t qualified to use them AT ALL
While trying to cut my bangs she specifically said that she didn’t want to cut them anymore because she was ruining it. So she even admitted to ruining my hair! She said «maybe your stylist can fix it». My stylist is on maternity leave and that’s the only reason I didn’t go to my original stylist at a different salon
Then when it came time to pay… she charged me full price of $ 180! She didn’t even honor the Unilocal deal of $ 60 for $ 100 work, even when i showed it to her on my phone on the Unilocal app. She said «oh that’s old and shouldn’t even be on there» — well then. be responsible and have Unilocal take it off lady.
Her excuse for charging me $ 180 was she had to use alot of product on my hair. SHE made way too much and didn’t even mix them right. SHE wasted her own products. THAT is not my fault. Most of the product went onto the floor cause she kept spilling it!
I was seriously so upset and near tears in the chair. But she was too concerned of getting me out of there and getting my money.
Save your money and your time and go elsewhere. If you are looking for unique color and style for your hair, DO NOT SEE THIS WOMAN! You’re Welcome
I definitely will not be back. By far the WORST salon experience I have ever had. She should not be doing hair or needs to go back to school. People that gave her FAKE 5 star reviews should be ashamed of themselves.

Best experience I’ve had at a hair salon in along time!!! She understood exactly what I was asking for and made sure I left satisfied! MY HAIR IS PERFECT! Also, the salon is so cute and comfortable. Great atmosphere and everyone is so friendly. I will be returning for sure! Thank you Evelyn for your wonderful work:)

I just recently went to Evelyn for a hair cut and highlights. I am THRILLED with my hair. She was very informative when going over what products she was using on my hair and what would be best to use in the future. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted and make sure I was happy. She did amazing highlights that looked natural which is exactly what I wanted. Evelyn was very easy to talk to and made me feel very comfortable and at ease. The salon was very nice, lots of parking and had a very friendly atmosphere. I’ve bounced around to different hair stylists in the past few years and am so happy I found her. I will definitely keep coming back! Evelyn is WONDERFUL! I would highly recommend her!

I’ve been going to Evelyn to get my hair done for a while now, and even longer for my Brazilians. She’s utterly amazing! She always knows the right colors and products for my hair. We’ve been doing honey blonde highlights in my hair for over a year. I told her I wanted to go dark, closer to my natural color, with some reds and some blue violets. She did exactly what I want and then some. I got the reds and some beautiful plums. I, and everyone around me, love my hair. Thanks Evelyn! You’re the best!!!

Evelyn is AMAZING! She goes above and beyond as a hair stylist and listens to her clients’ needs. I go to her often for blowouts and it’s always such a pleasant experience. She will always do something complimentary that is a little extra special to make my hair shinier or softer whether that’s trying out a new product on me or deep condition my hair. She even sends me home with samples to try out. She truly cares for her clients and wants to make sure they are happy with the outcome. During our visits, she is always so easy to talk to as well. It’s like a mini social outing which is nice now that I am a new mom and appreciate being around adults. She always has new, innovative ideas to make her clients feel extra special and it’s just a joy to be around her. I’m always happy with my hair when I leave the salon. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her!

She is absolutely amazing! She took my hair from deep auburn back to my natural golden blonde with almost no damage to my hair. Last time I had to do a color change I had to cut off most of my hair and she saved it. I would recommend her to anyone needing a cut or color!
