Day care lost its license because a child died there. The news piece has a good tip to go to local licensing office to view a day care file if there are any violations or complaints.

We have been taking our(now) 1yr old child now to this day care for about 8 months now. SEEFILTEREDREVIEWS on the bottom for other more positive reviews, I am not sure why they are hidden. I am extreamely happy with the transparency of this daycare, the dedication of the staff and with the care and love my baby boy gets. James is always available and goes above and beyond what he is expected to do. I have often called and done face time with my boy, and whenever my son is having an off day he always give me a heads up and lets me know so I can keep a closer eye on him. Add to that the the location of this day care is in a very calm neighborhood. In addition to that he keeps the daycare extreamly clean and with little to no danger hazards, by this I mean that there is no furniture aside from baby toys/chairs/cribs and a TV in the area were the kids are at. I wholehartedly trust this daycare with my son.

We’re very happy with James’ daycare. I’ll explain why I like this daycare so much by comparing and contrasting it with our previous in-home daycare we went to and you’ll see why we’re happy. PREVIOUSDAYCARE: — Toys everywhere, messy house, damaged furniture — No real separation between«adult» areas and«daycare» areas — Overuse of breast milk bags whenever baby cried — Wouldn’t put baby down for necessary nap times. This meant that our son wasn’t getting regular and consistent naps that he needed. — Her roommate would look after our child when she had to run an errand — Wouldn’t let me use my ChildCare Flex Spending Account from work to pay her because she preferred to be paid«under the table». — Would put the babies in front of the television more than I liked. JAMESDAYCARE(«San Diego Daycare») — Extremely clean and organized — No furniture in the kids areas for them to get injured on. — Makes every effort to ensure that our son gets his meals, milk, and water throughout the day, even when he is fussy and a lot of patience is required. — Puts our son down in the crib for his regular naps. This has made a HUGE difference in our son’s sleep schedule and also his general behavior. — Signed all my ChildCare Flex Spending Account paperwork without hesitation. This makes me think he might be the ONLY home daycare that doesn’t grossly cheat on his taxes. — Is licensed as a large daycare so he’s subject to more inspections that he passes without problems. Also his child CPR certification, the four well-behaved kids of his own, and his long family history of running daycares really put us at ease. So go visit James if you’re interested in a daycare, take a look around the spotless house, and check out the happy smiling babies and toddlers there, our son being one of them.
