We absolutely love their«Only Acai Bowl.» It is a good size and is so delicious. I have to order mine without bananas because I am allergic, but they are always willing to add more strawberries or a different fruit of choice. It makes a difference that they are willing to work with what you like. The main reasons I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the inside of the place is very small. It’s difficult to get out of the restaurant when there is a line of people. Also, one time we went they didn’t have the Acai sorbet, so I had to get one of the Brazilian Bowls, but since I can’t have it blended with banana, it was very bitter tasting. I know this isn’t a huge deal, but I saw one of the employees texting while he should have been working. I just think it looks lazy when people are on their phones instead of doing their job. I prefer the other location over this one, but this is close to where I live so I will be frequenting this spot when I want some Acai.

This place had the worst customer service ! I asked for a bagel with egg and cream cheese and they messed my order up which I didn’t have a problem with until they rolled their eyes at me. I was shocked. The man that was working the register was especially rude ! Never going back I prefer the one by Mission Valley.

Came in with a friend not expecting to get anything, and we were just going for her, but after I looked over the many different types of smoothies, I decided to go for the mocha with soy protein. Not only does it feel great to have something yummy, but healthy as well. Usually mocha drinks are strong, but this one wasn’t and I was most certainly pleased. I’ve seen other reviews that say it’s not strong enough, but remember you’re not coming to a coffee house shop, you’re going to a blended smoothie place. The price was a little high, but it was suited since everything is better for you in the health field than other chain places. Come on people, you get what you pay for. Thank you for the fast and delicious service SD blenders, I will be coming back

O. M. Geeeeeee!!! Their acai bowls are amazing! Hands down way better than Robecks(sp?) and Jamba Juice combined! Staff is always friendly and quick service. I always get a regular acai bowl however, after seeing the pictures of the Brazilian Acai Bowl I will definitely be trying that next. Thank you SD Blenders! You ROCK!

Love the Acai bowls. Best I’ve had in SD. The drug is amazing fresh and often includes slices of coconut and kiwi.

If your looking for a smoothie that is decent or an overpriced acai bowl($ 8) or what I tried a ham sandwich minus the ham apparently. I like Jamba Juice good price and great smoothies and their small size is the size of this places medium. I tried the ham sandwich and I took 3 bites still trying to get the meat and barely got any. That’s the priciest part of a sandwich and that’s most likely why they gave me two slices of thin ham and over loaded it with lettuce so it looked big in the plastic. I live right by them hopping they’d be good but jersey mikes is a million times better and don’t short you on meat, plus it’s right up the street. Try jersey mikes way better. I’m not coming back here for anything. And the customer service the girl or guy didn’t smile they were blah and distant. There was no energy. I felt awkward. So beef up your sandwiches and hire new people to actually be human and I’ll probably still go to Jamba Juice jersey mikes or anywhere else lol.

The smoothies are great and the acai bowls are too! I have nothing bad to say about the place. They can throw in whatever fruit you’d like and everything is fresh. The bowls are a pretty good size too! The only downfall is that they close so early! I always crave this place after dinner. It is also conveniently located near SDSU.

After seeing pictures of the acai bowl from this place on IG, I decided I had to come check it out. The place itself is very tiny and seems cramped, but I sensed that most people order to-go anyway. The acai bowl was very tasty. At first I thought it needed more fruit, but once I dug in I found it to be packed with bananas, strawberries, and granola. The acai itself was very rich in color and taste. I could tell it was the real thing by just looking at it. I’m glad this place is near campus, I’ll be sure to stop by more often.

When I first found out about this place, I knew I had to try it because of all the good reviews and so many people recommend it! The acai bowl is so delicious here and so are the many choices of smoothie they have here. Everything here taste so fresh and refreshing! I’m serious so hooked to this place. So far, I’ve tried the mango, strawberry guava, strawberry banana, and orange strawberry smoothie. All of them haven’t been a disappointment. Although, I did go to the other location and the smoothie consistency wasn’t the same. So I stuck to going to the one here. I caught myself going here two to three times a week and I definitely have been recommending this place to several people.

Solid acai bowls! They use the sorbet, so don’t expect a fresh blended purée. I personally like the sorbet as it is a little more dessert like. Topped with strawberries, banana, granola and honey this is a well balanced bowl. I like to get the jumbo size, but it is a bit expensive. I like it enough to come through about once a week.

Went here once again. This time I was able to create my own juice. It was sooo delicious, and the girl behind the counter was super nice and said it was totally cool to make my own recipe. Amazing, fast and friendly atmosphere. Once again, I left feeling awesome!

Hands down. The best acai bowl I’ve ever had. The toppings and fruit aren’t just placed on the top. They are also placed on the bottom so that every spoonful will have a fair share of granola, acai, fruits, and chocolate chips. Other acai bowls I’ve tried just tasted like a berry smoothie. I don’t know what it is that makes SD Blends flavors stand out, but I will only go here for my acai and smoothie fixes. Note: Don’t waste your time going to Jamba Juice. Seriously… don’t. **** They close at 7pm, however they begin cleaning up at 6pm. Try to get there before then, if you can.

Conveniently located down the street from SDSU. It’s a great healthy option if you don’t want to indulge in the fast food on campus. The Brazilian Acai bowl is so good! The fruit tastes really fresh and I love that they add carob chips to it. I wish it was a little less runny, but was still really refreshing. I also recommend the California bowl(fresh fruit, cottage cheese, granola, and honey). Annnnd I can’t get enough of their Peanut Butter Builder smoothie. So addicting!

The shop is right next to H&R Block. They take cash only for purchases under $ 5. Got a vanilla mango protein shake: delicious, no powder taste, a tad bit sweet but it was just acceptable. I had a few bites from my friend’s acai bowl: the acai is thick and flavorful, loaded with fruits and granola is delicious. will be back!

I came in looking for a smoothie that had caffeine so I ordered the coffee smoothie which included frozen espresso, banana, and a few other ingredients. The medium cost $ 4.95. The coffee smoothie was good and came with a drizzle chocolate from a normal Hershey bottle( ). The smoothies was icy, probably needed a little more blending, but I would of like more of a coffee flavor. It was very light not only in flavor, but also in caffeine strength. It tasted mostly of banana with a ever so hint of coffee flavor. For those who partake, they over love wheat grass( ), make sandwiches, fruits bowls, including Brazilian Acai bowls, and breakfast bagels. Service was okay. The you man who served me and made my smoothie was friendly enough, but did appear a little indifferent and not so enthusiastic. Let’s make that coffee smoothie taste like coffee…

Quick liquid lunch before a Cowles hike. Ordered a small Peanut Butter Builder and a small Slimmer. Peanut Butter Builder: Creamy blend of peanut butter yogurt, milk, 32g whey protein, banana, and chopped peanuts. My favorite everyday smoothie! Tastes like a Reese’s shake. Slimmer: Juiced grapefruit, celery, orange, and pineapple. Refreshing, acidic, and spicy. Feels very thermogenic and an awesome pre-workout juice. Friendly, quick service, and is rarely crowded. My go to convenient lunch routine or energy pick me up.
